*Few hours later*
Dilis started to stir and looked around slowly; she did not really remember what had happened to her but she knew it was not good. She felt kind of woozy and just wore out so she sat for a moment peering but not really looking anywhere in particular.
"How did I-" She stopped short as she remembered suddenly what had transpired. She remembered the little bugger attacking her and her falling to the ground... she swung around quickly to make sure he had gone and decided staying there probably was a bad idea. She figured that no help was coming so she tried to walk back the way she came as best as she could remember.
She weaved in and out of the trees and came to the intersection that had lead her there to begin with. Dilis walked down the path that lead to Avington and in all her happiness, she began running. She ran faster than she had in her whole life and barreled through her front door. She had never been so happy to see her father.
"I am so glad to be home, Father I will never disobey you again I promise" She cried as she hugged herself to him. She would never speak of her visit to the Tugley Wood again...
