Zane stared at the berries skeptically. Uh. No. They didn't seem all that fantastic. He would pass on this opportunity, he had eaten for the day anyway. "I don't know how you do it Malch. I never would be able to just wander. I'm too attached to my books." He shook his head. He would never be able to understand Malch, not ever. He was so very sociable, so was Ez and Ceren. That left him and Mori to be the social retards of the family. Mori, at least, was endearing and adorable. What did Zane have? Nothing.
Ez carefully picked one off the bush and dusted it off before popping it in his mouth. He squinted his eyes at the taste. "Sour," he muttered as he swallowed. Apparently they weren't quite ripe yet--or at least the one he had. "Maybe you should try one Malch, I'm not sure if they are really ripe."

Malchiah trotted forwards happily and stuck his head in a bush, eating heartily. He popped back out again to respond to Zane with a quirked eyebrow. "It's not that hard, you just move your feet!" He chirped before picking another berry off the bush.
"You could always come on a short trip with me sometime?" He said encouragingly between berries. He frowned when Ez mentioned the taste and looked down at the bushes in front of him.
"Well. . Yeah they're not really overripe but they've been . . what I've been . .eating lately." He said slowly, realizing he was admitting to living off the land. But with his wandering it wasn't like he was making money, and it's not like he'd ask dad. He would probably help him out but he didn't want to owe anybody.
"I um .. I think they're okay." He said somewhat sadly before grinning. "Did you guys want to do something else?"

"You know Dad would give you money if you asked. Where's your bander by the way?" Zane said as he picked on of the berries off the bush. It wasn't that bad. Ez was just being picky again. "We don't want you to upset, Malch. That's not why we're here now is it? We're here because... well we're brothers."
"And we love each other," Ez added. "We just miss you, but you're here now! There's no reason to be sad anymore!" He chirped. He really didn't like it when they were serious. It was just something they didn't need. "Come on! Let's stop talking about all this serious stuff and have fun!"
"We still haven't decided--"
"How about we play a game of hide and seek? It could prove to be interesting! I'll be it first round!"
"Hide and... Malch. You have our brother talking crazy. Fix it."
