When all of her other siblings had gone for the door, the small mouse looked up from where she was sitting with Iphis for the tea party. From the sounds of it, it was not another unsuspecting salesman, usually only Helena was sent to take care of them. Following Iphis she looked to see who was at the door. “Dilis!” She started to bounce up and down in the spot that she stood. It had been a while since she had last seen the Avington, though she remembered her fondly, especially with her helping her carry the plant she had gotten from Mr. Gale. “How have you been, Dilis?” “What did you say? I am sorry brother, I could not hear you. Maybe you should speak up?” The canine-equine said over her brother’s struggles and protest of being used for a seat. It was one of her favorite pastimes. “Say you love me and are sorry and maybe I will get up.” she replied with a smirk at another of his muffled protests.

V was not pleased. He did, indeed, love his family; even his sisters and even especially his twin. They were twins; of course he loved her more than all of his other siblings. But sometimes... sometimes his favoured sister wasn't always his favourite person. Especially when her yellow butt was planted so firmly upon his pale blue fur and he was stuck. When all of their siblings started streaming around, he wiggled beneath her again. "Vvveeennnn!" he complained loudly. "We gotta go. I wanna know wot's going on...." Meanwhile, from the other direction, an equal clatter careened back up the stairs; hooves and paws racing up the stairs as a deep, male voice followed the sound, "And you tell your mother wot you did!" There was a pause. "Tell your Uncle Aderlass!" There was a firmer finality to those words, but all that appeared were two more children. "Get away from me, Ira!" snarled wot was usually a mostly yellow canine/equine hybrid. Today, however, a vibrant splash of red, to match that of the missing Morganberry uncle, stained down his fur. He snarled something unpleasant at everyone in the entrance way and brushed past impatiently, catching slightly when his wings snagged on the doorway. He left behind sticky red smears; suspicious smears that would smell and taste oddly like some sort of berry sauce. Following closely on his brother's heels, though he paused when he noticed everyone in the way, a teal equine . "Hallo," he greeted everyone cheerily, though his attention swiftly zeroed in on the woman in fishnet. "Hallo, Daddy; you look lovely this morning. Mother's displeased with me."

Hearing the coarse commanding voice of his friend he looked up from and over from where he had been sitting at the dinner table drinking coffee. He had woken up later then anyone else, threatening anyone on the pain of a burn that if they woke him up early to do chores. Seeing his two ‘nephews’ enter the room, the yellow winged Se obviously the target of another attack from Ira, he lofted an eyebrow. Placing his coffee cup on the table, he turned his full attention on the boys. Giving a long sigh, Whip usually only sent him the boys when they had done something wrong and was sure Mnem would only praise them for their misbehavior. “Wot happened this time?” This was definitely looking to be the makings of an interesting story. Taking in Se’s appearance he found himself feeling a little sorry for the lad. Call it a, comrades in mutations if you will. He hoped the boy would outshine his siblings when he grew older.

Dilis smiled at the little one. "Hello Hadyn, it's a pleasure." Minh had handed Hadyn a coin in what seemed to be a secret plot and with a nod he was gone down the hallway. That was alright though because she knew what it was to be defiant, she still found it absolutely darling. As they walked through the door, she heard someone bouncing toward them. Suddenly she appeared next to Minh and Dilis could see she was a cute little green canine.
"Well hello Helena, it's a pleasure dear. Yes of course I am here for tea, that's very nice of you to offer to help. My name is Dilis, and yes I like pastries very much." Helena had asked so many questions that she had hardly taken a breathe, it was cute and Dilis liked her very much. She really did love children and with the amount of ones that she could hear within the house, she knew she was in for a real trip. As she was chatting with Helena, she noticed another little one crawl out from somewhere or other.
Just as she had gotten her wits about her, another two children came out of the woodworks. Shortly after, a woman came in; she was a pretty sort, hair of purple and gold. She had spoken to her too "Hello." She chuckled to herself, the kids had been acting rather rambunctious but so far they hadn't really acted naughty. Dilis had met her share of naughty children and so far these were a pleasure to be around.
When she was about to speak more to this woman, she heard a voice. “Dilis!” The voice was awfully familiar and as she looked up she realized it was her cute little mouse friend, Elyse!
"Elyse! How are you angel, I didn't know you lived here! It's awfully nice to see you; how is your plant doing, dear?" Dilis was quite pleased to run into Elyse, she had enjoyed her company the last time on their quest to find Gale's shop. "Oh, i've been quite alright sweetheart thank you for asking" Dilis smiled.
At that moment Dilis heard the clatter of hooves and a deep voice yell "And you tell your mother wot you did!". Then a little morganberry canine came whizzing past covered in what looked like red berries. Oh my, this should be interesting to hear.

Minh's ears twitched from auditory overload, not really having realized just how many of them were home this morning. She came to the belated conclusion that it might have been wiser to have skipped the tea and fled; dealing with Mnem's ire later in the day would have been much more appealing than dealing with the milling masses now.
She was a little startled that Elyse already knew Dilis, but she wasn't really a part of Elyse life, so it didn't come as much of a surprise. Her little girl was very much her father's; it was rather endearing, actually.
"Alright, you heathens. Clear the way. Miss Dilis and I are going to grab a quick cup of tea, and then we'll be on our way. No experiments. No explosions. No poisoning or shocking. Until after we're gone. Kapeesh?"
She gently steered Dilis in the direction of the kitchen, jumping a fallen stack of boxes to reach the kettle. She turned on the burner.
"What do you prefer?"

“I am doing well! It is nice to see you again too. This here is my mommy,” She pointed towards Minh. “Mnem here is my Aunty-mom. And these are all my siblings, some of them are not actually related,” she whispered the last part as if it was a secret.
“The plant is good. Mommy-Mnem put it in a nice sunny place.” she went on to explain a few more things that probably made no sense to the feline. When Minh shooed them off she grabbed Iphis by the hand pulling him away to go finish their tea party.
~
When Minh made her way over to the kitchen area, Dilis surely following, he gave Minh a knowing smirk over the top of the two kids he was suppose to be punishing. She had been running away again in attempts to escape the chaos. Not that he really blamed her; he was already planning on making his own escape after he finished his coffee.
Nodding his head in greeting he got up to clear a space for the two females. He was not planning on staying long . . . well unless the conversation turned out to be interesting, but knowing female chatter it probably was not.

Dilis smiled at Elyse. "Well, I am glad that you are doing well Elyse and that I have gotten to see you." Elyse went on rambling about plants and this and that but she found it endearing so she listened for a moment. When Minh started to shoo them off, she turned back to Elyse quickly. "Mommy-Minh and I are going to the kitchen for a bit, you take care of yourself sweetheart." She patted Elyse on the head and followed Minh to the kitchen.
Dilis wouldn't lie, she was terribly confused by the bunch however she still found the children absolutely adorable. Also, she got see Elyse again! Minh was speaking to the kids and then she was showing Dilis to the kitchen... she really needed to stop dreaming so much.
"I rather like raspberry tea if you have it. If you haven't, I will take whatever it is you are drinking. So tell me Minh... what is it that you do for a living?" She had hoped it did not sound as rude as she thought it did but figured worrying would not help either.

"Raspberry tea it is, then." Minh snagged two cups from the dish wrack, and judging them to be suitably clean, set them down on the counter before nudging open another cupboard and beginning to rift through in search of the correct jar.
She really did love her coffee, but every once in awhile she'd go through a phase and drink tea instead. Mostly, though, the disarray of the cupboards was entirely Mnem's fault. The canine had enough dried herbs and exotic spices stashed away to supply an army, and Minh had to wade through the mess before she even entertained the thought of finding the raspberry tea mix.
The kettle started to whistle, and she extended out her left arm, popping it backwards at the elbow, to lift it off the stove while she continued to rift through the cupboard. She knew that it tended to unsettle people, but her ability to manipulate her body into whatever position she might requite was rather handy.
She found the tea, "Ah-hah! And--occupation? I'm a geneticist."
She poured the water into the porcelain mugs, adding the crushed herbs to a distiller and dropping it into the steaming water. Pink swirled into existence.

She was glad Minh had the type she liked, it was the only kind she really knew as Father always made it for her. Dilis watched Minh dig through the cupboards and she giggled to herself. She noticed a bit of disorganization to the household and the cupboards just added to it. With all the children in the household and their varying temperaments.. she didn't really blame Minh and Mnem.
When the kettle started to go off, she was surprised at Minh's flexibility; she had managed to lift it with her arm in contortions while she could still rummage through the cupboard. She found it interesting and was glad she had knocked on Minh's door, she found her very interesting.
"Geneticist? Oh my! Do you have a specialty? Oh I do adore science, please tell me more." Minh's words had stirred her attention and she was really interested now. Geneticist? Maybe one day she might have Minh do something for her? That would terribly fun she thought.
