(B.F. - before finodeath) Rajekhri moved smoothly down the hall, muscles roiling and sliding beneath his silken fur. He moved as if he owned the whole palace, and by all means with his king ability most of the time others treated him as such. It did nothing to deflate his ego. One day, he would be THE Queen. Khizr moved alongside and slightly behind his brother. In comparison to Raj he seemed small, and. . . slimey. When people catered to Rajekhri, they'd snub Khizr. When people fawned over Rajekhri, they'd be disgusted by Khizr. And yet, one was never seen without the other. "What should we do today Brain?" Rajekhri said with a sneer. "What?" Slithered out the voice of the deer. Rajekhri just rolled his eyes and kept walking. "Nevermind." The antlered youth sighed, boredom dripping from the noise. "But . . what are we going to do?"

Xiven had been having a perfectly good day as she hummed down the hallway. She had left Fluffy to sleep in her cat bed. Eldy was just doing her thing. That left... what exactly? She shrugged as she walked down the hallway with a hop and a skip. And then... she saw them. Her eyes narrowed on the boy with antlers. Her companion could screw himself and she could careless. She would never make eye contact with him again, that was for sure. Rajekhri, however, was a different story completely. She wanted that bastard dead. How could something that horrible come from her father? It had to be that deer woman's fault. There was no way he was just a result of Papa. Linda and Lior were fantastic people to be around. Not these two. No. She gave a low hiss as she watched them walk towards her. "You. What are you doing?" She asked with a growl.

No sooner than Rajekhri looked up he saw Xiven blocking the hallway in front of him. Ah yes. . .Xiven. A grin spread upon his face as he siddled up closer, making sure his movements were as fluid as possible. He laughed lowly, knowing she wouldn't let him near but still. The cross scooted around one side, circling her as he spoke. He would have rubbed against her, but no, she didn't have the patience for that. Pity. She was a partial sister sure but she was pretty. Mostly for her queenship.
"Fancy meeting you here Xiven. Out to spy for mommy?" He asked in a sing-song voice.
Khizr snickered as he watched his brother. It was a shame she wouldn't meet his eyes anymore. But he did rather enjoy the hesitation she held towards him. Finally, someone feared him as should be expected.
"Come now brother," He slithered, "She's not worth it. Her chest may say Queen. . " At this both of their eyes strayed to her chest. Perhaps not the same as if she was in bipedal form, but she would get it anyways. "But she's just guttertrash from a dirty mother. Heard she /fell/ into the palace instead of earning her way here."

"I don't spy for my mother, I spy for myself," Xiven said in her usual tone for boredom. Everything would have been fine and she would have just walked away if that other one hadn't spoken.
That stupid little hornless bastard. She refused to look at him, and kept her eyes locked on Rajekhri's. "Perhaps you should train your pet better? He shouldn't disrespect a future Queen of the courts who could easily say "Off with his head" with a bat of an eyelash. After all. My mother isn't a ball of idiotic fluff. And if your idiot of a pet knew what was right from wrong, he would know that my mother is a capable person who earned her way into courts. She just had an unorthodox way of joining the courts."
She cleared her throat and shook her head. "Then again. Your pet isn't worth my time of day. If you'd let me pass I'll be out of your hair Rajekhri," Xiven said in the nicest tone possible. She wanted to claw both their eyes out. However, she was better than them. So much better.

Fluffy had been asleep in her cat bed, but then she'd had a nightmare - or daymare, she supposed, if that was even a word - and woke up crying with no one in the room. That just made her even more upset. Xiven had been around earlier and she couldn't have gone far, could she? Slipping out of the room, the Ace trotted down the hallway until she heard the sound of familiar voices. Her ears pricked up and she trotted faster, not quite at optimal tripping speed so she managed to stay on all fours rather than on her chin. When she turned the corner, she saw not only owner, but the pretty boy with the antlers and his brother. Oh, she liked the one with the antlers! He was just so sweet to her and everything he said was so pretty that she loved to listen to the sound of his voice. And look at him, because he had such pretty colors, and he was white over a lot of his body like her, and he had pretty flippy hair that she always wanted to touch. With a mew, she trotted up to her owner and rubbed her nose against one paw, nightmare being dispelled from her mind at the sight of them all. "Meer?"

Rajekhri burst out laughing. "Oh? And just what are you spying for my dear Xiven? What little bit of information are you trying to gather?" He shrugged and attempted to move closer.
"No matter." He paused for a minute. "Though perhaps. . have you ever thought was a, wonderful, pair we could make? My dear sister?" To most that sentence would be sickening. The meaning put behind his words definately not at face value with them. Oh, Xiven would know what he was implying.
Khizr made a small noise but said nothing. The cat mix glanced back at his red-haired brother and stared at him until the deer looked away. And then, Fluffy showed up.
"Ah, speaking of pets. How are you doing Fluffy?" He purred at the small white and purple cat. He would do anything to piss Xiven off if she didn't decide to work with him. Helped that her special little pet was pretty to boot.
Khizr finally spoke up "Raj. ." He said warningly.
"/Rajekhri/" was the loud reply. Khizr sat back and lowered his head, fire burning in his eyes, but he said nothing.

"What I look for in none of your concern," Xiven said shortly. She heard her Fluffy come up behind her, but wasn't about to say a word at the moment. She still had to play civil princess with these idiots. She wished Linda was here, she was better at this.
Her ears flicked back at his other statement. "Rajekhri, to become one of my Kings you would have to prove yourself worthy. Otherwise you know perfectly well what would happen. I could never work under you for any reason. Our personalties are too different."
Bastard.
Her tail went fluffy for a few moments when she watched him move towards Fluffy. She hissed a bit at him, she couldn't help it. She didn't like when he touched her things, and Fluffy was hers. Her pet. Her pet since childhood and until she grew old and died damnit. She didn't want that deer cat to get his dirty hands on her. "Fluffy, weren't you sleeping?" Xiven said in a sigh.

Fluffy tilted her head curiously at the two boys talking to Xiven, paying more attention to Rajekhri's pretty hair than she was what any of them were saying. She would only catch snippets anyway. And listening to the antlered cat-deer purr at her was just lovely! His voice was like honey almost, and if gold had a sound, his voice would be it. She just loved hearing him talk. She was so wrapped up in it, she didn't even notice her owner's upset until Xiven actually addressed her.
She blinked dark eyes at the fluffier feline and noticed her body language, the stiff way she held herself and the poofed out tail and the sighing way she asked her question. It distressed her slightly that her mistress wasn't happy.
And why was she out here anyway and not sleeping? She tilted her head. "Bad dream," she whispered, not wanting the others to hear.

Rajekhri laughed quietly as she hissed at him. Ooo, perhaps he had found a sore spot? The little cat seemed to have quite a few of them. She hated him so much that she found offense in everything he did, which was smart on her part. A brief moment of regret that his ability didn't work on her passed by and he very nearly frowned. She really would make a good partner to him. Willing to cut off heads that needed to roll. Though, she would always refuse to work for him.
It seemed as if she had inherited their papas sadism but not the same coldness that seemed to run through his own veins. Pity.
"Aww, don't you want me to be near Fluffy? She's such a pretty little pet. I'm sure we could have some fun." He said with a sneer.
Khizr sat and watched expectantly. His eyes constantly registered every nuance and movement. If anyone could find weakness in mannerism or body language it was him. Everything was catalogued for future use. Too bad the throne wasn't up for grabs yet. He was sure he could coach Raj into the spot.

Xiven's ears twitched as she pulled them back flat on her skull. Stupid son of a bitch. If she could poke his eyes out, cook him on a spit and dance on his ashes she would be happy. However she couldn't and she should be a proper lady and not... snap.
Oh lord. She wanted to snap his pretty little antlers off.
She turned to fluffy and patted her, whispering in the kitten's ear, "It's perfectly all right. No more bad dreams." With a sigh she turned back to the idiot cat tear with a small smirk on her face. Fine, she was going to play snotty too.
"Don't patronize me," she said. Her voice was laced with a sugary sweet sort of poison that she used whenever she didn't want to deal with people and played her Queen status to her advantage. "But I suppose that comes natural to you."
