What kinds of Animals that aren't sentient are found around the lands that we might recognize?
Well, most animals found about the realms are various bland shades of yellows, browns, and greys. They don't follow realm coloration and are not capable of being anything more than livestock, pets, or pests. They cannot breed with and will not willingly mate with any SD and someone trying to do so would be frowned upon heartily; it is the same as bestiality.
Dogs: Non-sentient dogs are found almost everywhere. They tend to be along the lines of Labs and Retrievers and their coat colors are usually drab browns and yellows or black. Some smaller breeds exist, but not many. They are easily trained and make good pets. They are fairly common and not hard to care for.
Livestock: There are non-sentient forms of cattle and chickens. They are normally black and white and/or brown rather easy to care for and quite stupid. The cattle and chickens are dimmer than they would be on this plane of existence and are corralled out in lands with lots of space, usually in the Josiggy or Sorgaire range.
Horses: Horses are easy to find and come in a myriad of sizes, some large enough to even carry an Equine SD biped. They are non-sentient and do not follow the coloring patterns of the realms. They are commonly dun, browns, or black. They are difficult to house and care for, but make fantastic pets and companions.
Vermin: There are rats, mice, mustelids, and a wide variety of bugs (including roaches). None are sentient and most are seen as pests and irritations, though some weasels and ferrets could be kept as pets.
Birds: There are many types of small sparrow-like birds and corvids. None of them are sentient and none of them follow the coloring patterns of the realms, mostly being black or dusty greys and browns. They can be caught and kept as pets, or they can be caught and eaten. They are about the size of the average SD's paw. There are also five different types of hawks and eagles, all of which are smaller, and very difficult to train and/or keep.

Cats: A long time ago, the small cats, which had previously been kept as pets, evolved to become sentient beings, moving all of their kin away from the cities and homes of the Cards to live in places where Cards do not. To this day, they remain undiscovered and it is widely believed that they have become extinct.
Rabbits: There are two different breeds of very small long-eared creatures called rabbits, but they have longer faces and shorter legs than rabbits in the real world. They are usually brown and are non-sentient. They can be kept as pets or eaten, but they are usually only kept for their fur. Owning one as a pet is seen as extremely bad luck, and some people will go out of their way to kill them for fear of them bringing bad luck on a neighborhood. They are about the size of an average SD's paw.
