((Okay ^^ also, Besaba is a feline *nods* but Idril seems to be convinced she is a canine? XD))
Drat. Now she actually had to find something to do tonight after all. Ah well. No rest for the wicked, she supposed. Nodding her head in agreement, she purred her anticipation in her words. "Yes, yes, perfect, thank you. I look forward to when next we meet. I won't keep you then, good night Idril." Her words came out quickly, gliding off of her tongue with the grace of a feline... which she just happened to have. She could be terribly clumsy sometimes though, and it often was in the worst situations.
She started down the steps and nodded her head before eagerly trotting off into the darkness- this time in the direction of her house. If she was going to be getting help so soon, she'd have to see what she could accomplish during the night without compromising any of her current specimens.
-----
She hadn't slept even a minute, but that was fine, she'd probably crash sometime soon after her meeting with the librarian mouse. It was only five now, but she'd take that walk she'd promised herself the night before and be there at five thirty. She assumed the mosue would be there already anyway, having to open the place and all. Besides, one had to have a love for their job to do something that boring. Though the comment from the other night stuck with her, she must have read a Lot of books. Idly, Besaba wondered why this intense amount of knowledge hadn't landed her a better place to work. But, what did she know? She was practically a mad scientist these days.
A foul smelling drunk in the road made her hiss as she made her way through town, and her fur bristled in distaste. At least she'd bathe if she had time, and she didn't spend her evenings soiling herself in public. Well, there was an even worse job than being a librarian- being the guy who had to clean That all up. She reached the modestly sized library and placed her sack upon the step she chose to perch on. The doors were closed and barred so far, and she didn't want to attract the wrong kind of attention by testing them to see if they'd open at all.
Patience was a virtue.

((Ack, o O; Sorry *goes to edit* It was a mistake on my part > >; ) The mouse had indeed arrived at the library early. Well for her it was her usual time but to anyone else it would probably be considered insanity. She always liked to arrive early to make sure everything had been done and finished from the night before as well as to go through some of the books that personally interested her. Even though she was early she had not noticed that the feline was sitting on the steps to the library till about fifteen minutes to six. Walking over she unlocked the doors. Giving a small shrug she flipped the sign. She would be the only one working till around seven or eight when the other works for the day would arrive. Opening the door she gave the feline a smile. “Good morning. It is nice to see you again. Come, come, let’s get started on the research you need.” She was a chipper little thing in the morning considered she had not had coffee yet. Any of her other co-workers complained if they were force to work mornings with her, something about her being a morning bird, well mouse really, and how it should be outlawed.

((Hehe I was just poking fun, luff! No worries ;D))
The sign flip made Besaba's ears perk enough that her entire head swiveled in the direction of the sound. Ah! She was opening early. Well, there really was no need for that, the feline could have easily slipped in quietly and waited in there until everything was offiicially open, but the mouse was dedicated enough that she could probably handle whatever morning or afternoon rush arrived... if there was one. Not all cards were literate, anyway.
She was practically at the door when it opened, her smile seeming to match the twitching of her tail in the obvious excitement which brewed just below the surface. "To you as well, thank you." She said quickly, moving in and adjusting her bag as she did so. Normally she was used to much more gruff of a greeting from anyone she did business with in the mornings. Nobody liked them for some reason. "Anything particularily exciting going on or are you simply a.. ah... 'morning person' as well?" She questioned curiously, spotting her table from yesterday.
Being a creature of vigorous routine, it made sense that she would pick the same seating area from yesterday. Besides, it was one of the few tables designed so that you didn't have to be bipedal to be able to actually view your book upon the table. Which was nice, though that ought to be changing as soon as she had enough time to devote to it. She began carefully unpacking the large bound books and setting them in an orderly fashion upon the table.

“Just a morning person,” she replied.
Even though she had opened early there was not likely to be any other patrons for a while. Quickly glancing around to make sure that everything was set up, that way she would not have to rush to do it later, she gave a satisfied nod of her head.
Following the feline towards the table she had been sitting at the other day she took a seat to where she could still keep an eye out for anyone who walked in. Watching as the feline started to pull the books out and arranged them on the table she raised an eyebrow in question.
“Well I guess the first question should be, what exactly is it that you are researching, looking for, hoping to find?” It would not do her any good in helping if she did not know what she was suppose to be finding after all.

She smiled at the question, for she'd just been about to ask the mouse how much she knew of these particular books. The first two were about the adaptation and multiplication of cells and their functions in the body based upon their contents, and the last were both on complex surgical procedures and the tools required, etc. That one she needed help with mostly because she didn't have the money to purchase a lot of the tools so she needed to find a way to obtain them... and she didn't know anyone who made anything like that so she couldn't exactly ask how.
"Do you know if any of the authors of these books are still alive, by chance?" Two of the books looked surprisingly new, and she wondered if the mouse would remember where she got them from or who dropped the copies off. Up and coming authors often distributed their own books or found someone to do it for them, without any prior notice or permission. Libraries were always looking for new books after all. And if she was lucky, maybe one of the authors would be local... ish. She wasn't hoping for a miracle, just someone who knew their stuff and could help out an inexperienced assistant.
"Or perhaps, would you know of anyone else whos shown some interest in these books, yourself being included if you understand the text and procedures better than I do." She hated not being able to pick this up so quickly, but her expertise was on creating, not... surviving. She was somewhat heartless when the question of survival percentages came up. Not like she Wanted people to die, it was just hard to do an open heart practice/curiosity surgery with no outside assistance of any kind.

She hummed softly to herself as she looked at the books arranged before the feline. She wanted to know which of these authors, if any, were still alive?
“Unfortunately I do not think I could tell you much about the information inside, just some of the basics that you would find if you flipped through the pages. I was never personally interested in any of this so I never so any reason for myself to actually read through them. However, I can tell you about the authors.” She gave a firm nod of her head before continuing.
“I can tell you for sure that the one on the far left, he departed the living about five years ago. The book next to him, however . . . I believe . . .” She feel silent as she tried to recall information on the author. She had heard rumors of the female being both a live and dead. Trying to recall which one she had most recently heard she pulled the book towards her to fiddle through the pages in the front.
“I am pretty sure this author is still alive. The other two . . . he is alive and she is not” She replied. “Of the two who are still alive one of them grew up and lives in the Midori Beach whereas the other one I believe can be found here in the Capital.” She pointed the author that lived in the Capital. “Actually, I believe that person should have a new book coming out soon.”

Besaba listened to the discriptions with rising and falling interest. Her ears perked at the last bit of information, however, one of the authors of the books was not only living in the capital city, but also had another book coming out soon? Besaba wasn't the patient kind at all, so it wouldn't be at all unusual for her to go and seek out what she needed to know straight from the source. She snatched the book from the mouse, giving a smile as gratitude while she scanned the inside covers. "There, that- that address. Does she still live there?" This probably came out sounding like the rantings of a crazy person to the mouse.
Honestly, who sought out authors about their book materials? Well, unfortunately for this author, Besaba didn't like taking 'no' for an asnwer. And what she'd gotten from studying this book was a big fat 'no', because she simply couldn't create what she needed, and didn't have the experience to understand certain procedures and tests. "And ah... would you know where that is? I... don't." She said with a hint of annoyance. It was bothersome to rely on others so much, but with the rut she was in, it was becomming more of a common occurance.

She was not really startled when the feline took the book from her hands, rather she hid a grin with a smile. Contrary to the female’s thoughts the mouse actually did actually have to deal with people pretty constantly who were ‘over excited’ about their work or information found.
“I can not say for sure but I am pretty sure that the author is still living if not working at that address. As for where that is located . . . hold on a moment okay?”
She quickly scampered off her chair to go over to her desk at the counter. Shuffling through a few of her files she stopped for a moment to help another patron before finding whatever it was that she was looking for.
Heading back to the female at her table she slid the piece of parchment in front of her. “I can not say I know where this place is, but this should help you.” The piece of parchment was a detailed map of the Capital. She was not one to wander around the streets of the Capital, spending most of her time in the library but this map should be able to make up for it.

The mouse's bemused looks showed Besaba that at least she was used to this kind of... overenthusiasm. Not that the feline wasn't used to scaring people off in the process of getting what/where she needed, but it was nice to find someone... experienced with her kind. It made it so much easier with the lack of explanations and reasons behind her actions. Come to think of it, it's a good thing she didn't let her frustrations get the better of her last night, this female was... enjoyable. A rare trait for Besaba to see in people other than handsome men.
"Yes, of course." Her ears were perked so high with interest they shuddered under the tension, perhaps a little bit of insight as to how hard the wheels in her head were spinning. She waited patiently, though she sneered at the customer the mouse had stopped to help along the way. It was her job, but geeze, couldn't that stupid patron see there were more important people ahead of him? The feline just became testy towards anyone who interrupted her scientific activities.
When the female returned, Besaba had to keep herself from snatching the paper right out of her hand. As it stood, her eyes shimmered with immense interest. This would be so very useful for someone as naturally lost around town as her. "Might I be able to extend the borrowing of this book for a while?" She wanted to have it with her because, well, surprisingly enough, many authors just Didn't have a copy of their own books regularly on hand. "The map is perfect." She said as a side-note, she'd almost forgotten to show some sort of gratitude.
