He was completely and utterly pleased with the way the otter simply went along with his ideas, it was a nice little switch up from having to argue just to get his way. The stutter and the shiver combined into an even more delightful display of his superiority and it stroked the weasel hybrids already large ego. He repaid the submissive behavior with a nip to the otter's ear, he'd get to lay his fangs on him and really, he thought Aph would like it anyhow. This charm tactic had worked many times in the past and he was discovering that the older he got, the, generally, more flustered the target became. It was delightful.
He removed himself from the other boy and moved toward the door, swishing his tail as he did. He expected the Torque to pick up the jar and follow him, they had work to do after all. He waited for him to move through the door and shut it, locking it behind them and then moving toward the stairs again. He practically skipped down the steps all the while sincerely hoping the otter didn't drop his carefully blended concoction. There would be a rather awful mess, a rather angry weasel and probably an uncharmable, pissy maid to deal with as well.
He moved through a few hallways, preferring silence over any words, and slipped into the library. There was a balcony here that would prove beneficial to his scheme, he knew the rat's schedule... and he'd get him.
He tilted his head back, grinning at Aph and again adding a little bit of his charm to the gesture, and to the words.
We're early.... perhaps we can chat a bit while we wait?

Aphasia shivered again at the nip, because oh, that was nice. Very nice, really. But he couldn't concentrate on that, because they had work they needed to do, right? A prank of some sort to carry off, that involved this horrendous purple cabbage dye and Morpheus' mother. Was his mother, maybe, that Lowlander Jack that he'd heard about? The one that wasn't actually of the Court of Spades, but was working there anyway? It would make sense with Morpheus' marking, but he'd first assumed that one of his parents was a Diamond, and he'd just gotten that parent's mark. Well, of course he was, but he'd thought that maybe the hybrid's mother had been the Spade.
He followed obediently after the Lowlander, nodding to himself when they entered the Library, and just hoped that they didn't get any of this concoction on the books. Or at least, not on any of the good books, because there were far too many bad books that could use a bit of "accidental" damage. They settled on a balcony, and Aph was reassured that they were far enough away from the good books that there shouldn't be a problem.
And there was that smile, and the words that just grabbed his attention like nothing else.
"What do you want to talk about?" he asked quietly; it wasn't like he was interesting or anything.

His expression faltered a bit at the otters reply because, dear lord was the boy really that dull? The tip of his tail twitched in thought before he let his paws slide over the floor, careful to keep his claws up so they wouldn't scratch or get stuck, and then he was on his belly and looking up and over at the otter with a raised brow.
The expression wouldn't last long, in fact they were early enough that he'd be able to do a bit of lounging whilst he tried to pull something, anything interesting out of the Torque because, really, no one could be the epitome of dull.... right? With a yawn that displayed his fangs in all their glory he rolled over onto his back, curled his front paws over his chest and rested one of his hind paws on a piece of railing that he also loosely wrapped the end of his tail around. He curled his long neck a bit and peered over at Aph again, his voice taking on a sugar sweet, almost sing song type of tone that he thought might just melt the otter a bit more.
Oh Aph.... surely you can think of.... something? You've got my attention.

Well, let's just pull out this here bucket of fire-hydrant red paint and dump it all over Aphasia's head until he'd completely and utterly soaked through, brighter than his mother and brother in coloration. If Aphasia didn't know that he was covered in black and purple fur and that it hid almost all of his skin, he'd be dead certain that he was blushing like a lunatic. Actually he was dead certain that he was blushing like a lunatic, he just knew that the fur covered it from sight.
"I- I- I-" he stuttered, and he knew that he was stuttering, and cursed it roundly. His body tightened up into a little curl, ears back against his head as he stared at Morpheus wide-eyed. He wasn't Mia, to go for what he wanted straight out. Suits, he wasn't Sae or Ari either. He was shy little Aph, who hated being put in charge of something without at least a little bit of direction, and a large amount of direction was even better.
"Uhm..." And oh, but Morpheus looked so handsome there, and he really couldn't pull his attention away. But he didn't know what to say, because really about the best he could come up with was something stupid like, "Wh-what's your favorite color?" and oh suits, he'd said that out loud, hadn't he?

Oh, he'd warranted a stutter, again? Well, that was all fine and dandy and all but what really pleased him was, with the look the boy had on his face, he just knew the otter was blushing, black fur be damned. He had Aphasia's full attention as well, and it only served to make him want to be all the more appealing to look at. And oh, he certainly would.
Morpheus wiggled his shoulders a bit to aid in curling the front half of his body around to be aimed more at the otter and his neck followed suit and pretty soon he was partially curled and looking at Aph upside down. And then he giggled, yes, giggled at the question the otter posed.... his favorite color? Really? That was the best he could come up with? That was just... wow, seriously funny in his mind but he'd leave his reaction at the giggle, he was still exploring the mind of this brother of Mia's and he didn't want to chase him off quite yet.
Mmm... purple, it's why I made this dye. My mother well, his brown looks like wet dirt, purple is a far more fetching color.
He'd then flip a paw forward to bat at the air in the otters general direction, if it were possible for weasels to purr.. .well... he'd be doing that right about now as well. Sometimes it was fun to pretend to be innocent.
Yours?

At the giggle his shoulders hunched a bit more, and his gaze dropped down to the floor. Yes, he'd said that out loud, and it had probably sounded just as stupid as he thought it had. Silly little otter, all bright red beneath your fur. However, when Morpheus didn't tease him beyond that giggle, he managed not to just slink away, low to the floor in an attempt to avoid being noticed (and fortunately, he wasn't nearly as noticable as his siblings, for various reasons on their parts. Not only that, but the hybrid actually replied, and took the question seriously! Well, as seriously as Morpheus could, which apparently included a whole lot of flirting. That paw-flip in his direction after the comment about purple being a far more fetching color - he who was marked rather heavily in the mentioned color - had him feeling sunburned again. Aphasia wondered vagely if he'd ever stop blushing after this, though he probably would, because his siblings would tease him worse than this sometimes and he'd always recovered after that.
But Morpheus wasn't one of his siblings, which made things worse.
"Uhm. I like...well, silver," he ventured hesitantly. "Mia and Sae and Ari keep trying to get me to pick a different color, 'cause they say silver is just shiny gray, but it's my favorite anyway." Silver like his bindings and all of the piercings that he had eyed longingly on a few Cards he'd seen. He was hoping to save up enough p to go to the shoppe he'd heard about, to get a few more piercings of his own, more metal in his body.
[ooc: Ah-hah...I know Mo's now all grown up and gorgeous, so I don't know if you wanted to continue this or not. I just wanted to get at least one more point for Aph, and Mo's fun in the flustering-the-poor-boy way. ^_^]

Oh ho, wasn't this boy just delightful? He was swiftly beginning to forget his little prank as he aloud his mind to wander into rather silly territory. Now, if the boy could be this easily affected by words and gestures.... what about physical contact? That was sure to send the young otter absolutely through the roof, or the floorboards actually.... depending on if he jumped or turned into a pile of mush.
Well then, don't call it silver to them ... tell them you're favorite color is shiny grey.
He stretched himself out as far as he could and as slowly as he could allowing a small growl of pleasure escape his throat right before he rolled over and got onto all four of his paws once more. Once on his paws he stalked over to the boy, whom he'd officially decided made a nice little toy, and made a lazy half circle around him, dragging his tail over the boys toes if he aloud it. Again, if Aphy stayed still, his long neck and body would allow him to curl himself around the boy with just the lightest brushing of his body against that slick otter fur. He's also aim his head up at just the perfect angle for an attempt to blow a soft, warm breath into one of those ears.
And if the boy didn't freak out and skitter off .... well ... he certainly had more teases up his sleeves ...
[[ actually.... young Mo muse is most certainly alive and kicking and ... I'd love to continue this <3 ]]

"Well, they say that grey isn't really a color, like black, or white..." he protested softly. Of course, who knew what they were talking about, considering that all four of them had some amount of black or white on their bodies. Mostly black; Ari was the only one with white that wasn't the Torquehelm markings, and he had a feeling that Mama Vessie was happy about that, though she didn't mind the Tulgey parts of him too much - after all, she'd fallen in love with Mama Quinn, right?
But then...oh yes, but then. Then Morpheus was going and stretching like that, and curling around him like that, and Aph's hormoned were reminding him cheerfully that he was a developing teenager, and oh, didn't that feel nice? And maybe a little more contact would feel even nicer? He kept himself from moving into the touches by sheer force of will, though the hybrid certainly got a shiver. The puff of breath in his ear caused it to flick violently, and then he gave an all-over shake; not enough to shake Morpheus off (he hoped), but enough to maybe help him recover a little bit of his composure.
Fat chance.

With that logic neither black nor white can be a color either.
Oooh, he didn't run off! Or, like his brother, whack him with a paw or kick him, totally a win win situation. And that shiver, followed by the fully body shake? It only encouraged him all the more. Carefully he walked a couple of his ivory claws up the otters spine as he continued with the idle chatter.
Really ... what is a color? It's something you see. Well, no, cause that would make an object a color ...
He pulled his paw back to tap his own chin thoughtfully as he pondered for a short moment.
It's a piece of what you see.... which makes everything like a puzzle, yeah?
Well, he'd managed to distract himself enough to get a little inkling that what he was presently doing was wrong in some way or another. He sighed softly, moving away from the otter and over to the nearly forgotten jar of rotting cabbage, vinegar and other unpleasant things and peered over the balcony to see if anyone had come into range quite yet.
This was terribly frustrating ... he was quite certain that he had a shot of getting precisely what he wanted and all he could think about was that blasted ferret... .damn it all, and double damn that there didn't seem to be much going on today either.... no one was around.Damn....
