It was, to everyone's surprise, Cecilia's idea to slip away from the adults. The adolescent fem wasn't about to sit back and listen to her father any longer...that doe was just so frustrating to the 'free spirited' Torquehelmer. Always worrying about how she was 'carrying herself'. Cecilia snorted, head held high as she pranced through the city streets. All alone, or well...so she thought. A light thumping of hooves abruptly caught up with her, a light and overly friendly voice rising up to greet her. "Cecilia, Cecilia wait up!""No! I'm going to the park where I don't have to listen to her lectures and her boring science talk!"In all honesty, Cecilia just hated her mom's attention being further divided, but she wasn't about to admit that to anyone. Cecilia would simply find someone else to play with. "But 'Cilia, Seki can't keep up! Waitwait!"That got her to pause, as did reaching the park's edge. Seki was such a fragile thing, she had promised to look out for him and with what little morals she still possessed, Cecilia kept to that. "Alright, if you guys are gonna come I guess there's nothing I can do.""T-Thanks, Cilia..." Seki's voice came out with a little pant, accompanied by Mocha's heavier wiffling, and at last the little trio had made it to Cecilia's sides. Xylia's voice chimed up in response to his own, her smile so very obvious in her youthful voice. "Yeah, thanks Cecilia...We won't get in your way, promise!"Well, this wasn't too bad, a little 'posse' of sorts for Cecilia to flaunt about with. She lifted her head further, mindful of her bindings as she did, and pranced gracefully into the park in pursuit of some company.

Vertumnus wondered how once again, for the second time in what seemed like only a couple weeks, he was in the park with some of his annoying younger siblings. He was sure, that there was some great god above that was trying to actually make his life miserable. But then again, life was rarely fair, and that was seen clearly by the fact that he even HAD younger siblings...and from a different MOTHER. It was true that he had several sets of siblings, but the ones that came into the world around the same time as him and his full siblings was a scientific experiment...or so he was told...while these younger siblings were conceived the same as his own. It had been a shocking and devistating blow to Vertumnus to realize his mother was not the only one in his father's life. He sat in the middle of the green grass of the park...sulking. Wishing that life was different then it was. Aurelius (or course) was right by his side, snuggling up next to him cutely, and trying his best to consol his unconsolable sibling. He didn't understand why he wouldn't cheer up! Look at all the attention he was giving him? "What's wrong Vertumnus?" he asked sweetly...his eyes convaying the same worry as his voice. Vertumnus simply looked the other way and didn't answer. Aurelius' brother and sister, Claudius and Ilana were only moments away playing, rolling down a small hill then running back up and doing all over again. Ilana noticed Aurelius' concern and Vertumnus' scorn after a little while. She looked sadly upon them for a moment, mostly in the direction of Aurelius, before brightening her features and walking over to them. "Aurelius! You should come join us! We're having tons of fun rolling down the hill. You should come to Vertumnus!" she waited a moment before turning back to go have fun with Claudius, who seemed oblivious to all his siblings in his excitment. Aurelius looked at Vertumnus. "You going to join us?"[/color] he asked thoughtfully, but Vertumnus once again didn't answer. Ears drooping, Aurelius reluctantly left Tumnus' side to join his full siblings in what looked to be a rather fun game of "Roll-Down-the-Hill".

Wow. . . lookit all those colours. Malchiah drifted through the air and swooped in over the mass of fuzzy, pretty bodies. So many bright colours and. . were those. . . girls? He grinned and drifted lower yet. Ohh time for fun. One imparticular caught his eye. She pranced and flashed and had the most beautiful jewelry. In fact, she looked like a flirt. He liked those. They always turned out to be more fun that regular girls. Usually nicer too. He floated down gently a ways from the large group and blinked. So. .many. . similar looking Cards. 0o He wondered vaguely if they were all siblings, and if so, WOW. Malc tried to catch the eye of Cecelia, winking in her direction and grinning mischeiviously.

Cecilia eyes were quick to catch upon that flashing avian form as it dipped from the sky and alighted nearby. Her siblings were, of course, distracted by the sight of their other siblings and they were quick to rush and greet them as Cecilia sauntered away from the group and toward the lone Selkie. She had seen his wink and with a flirtatious smile she had returned it.
At last she arrived before the male, wearing that diamond-esque smile as she batted her eyelashes sweetly.
"Hi... I couldn't help but notice you were looking my way."
Her tone was light and playful, cottony tail flicking from side to side with the joy of having found some male company of her age and, hopefully, of her 'persuasion' as well. Not to mention he looked awfully familiar to...someone. Someone she distinctly remembered being fun although she could not quite pull his name from the tip of her tongue.
Meanwhile, Xylia had let out a cheerful squeal upon seeing her siblings and had dashed forward (with Seki in tow) to meet up with them.
"Vertumnus!" Without hesitation she had pounced upon him, beaming energetically before hopping off to stand nearby as her tail wagged with joy. "How are you brother? Are you, oh... Are you here with them?"
The realization of these half siblings had been unusual for the two more 'naive' family members who had thought that their parents relationship was quite a bit different than they really were. Not to mention the bittersweet quality of their family's acknowledgment of each other. For poor Xylia who just wanted to get along with everyone it was a rather awkward situation but she forced herself to remain cheerful and work around it.
"Ilana, Aurelius, Claudius! How are you!?"
She bounced on spot, trying to summon the threesome from their roll down the hill.
Bashful little Seki remained a few steps behind Xylia, looking ever so slightly vulnerable and uncertain where she stood. He knew Tumnus but he definitely did not know the other three. Were they family? No, not of his mother's heritage... So most likely they were just related to Xylia and Tumnus...from their father then, he had to imagine.

Vertumnus barely managed to crane his neck in the direction of the excited screech. Wonderful...who else was here to pester him now? Hopefully not those two other siblings from the same group as Ilana and the other two...Inca and Irving, he remembered. But no...it couldn't be them, what with Irving's unfortunate condition. He and Aurelius were the only ones Tumnus felt mildly sad for. But he hardly had time to think about such things before he was pounced upon by none other then his full blooded sister. Or at least, one of them. He'd grown to rather like Xylia...despite her region that made him uncomfortible. Well, he liked her alot more then all his other siblings anyway. He couldn't help but smile, despite his annoyance at being pounced. It wasn't exactly sightly for someone of his age! Being 15 meant you had to start acting a little more grown. But in the present circumstances...he was just glad to be around someone he cared about.
"Better...now that your here..." he said, roughly but still playfully pushing her off him and looking over at the three younger siblings falling down the hill stupidly. His eyes narrowed slightly, before they brightened and turned to Xylia. "Much to my dismay...." he replied simply, wishing that his sister wouldn't call them over...but knowning that she would most likely do so anyway...even if she felt similarly to himself. Well....he wasn't going to be cruel to his siblings either...but he wasn't exactly going to try to gain their attention.
Ilana, being the kind soul she was, ran up the hill with a smile to her older sister. "Wonderfully!" she said from her place upon the hill, not quite shouting, but so far away she had to let her voice carry somehow. She wiggled her tail and beconed her two brothers to her side, before they all headed over to the new group forming.
Claudius bowed his head slightly in greeting. "It's nice to see you again Xylia...and...who is that behind you?" he asked before Ilana could manage to. Aurelius was ahead of them both of course, heading straight to the strangers side with a smile. "Hi! My name is Aurelius." he said kindly...not realizing that his forwardness might scare the shy feline. Ilana's face turned a bit worried. She always seemed to worry about Aurelius...he could so easily be hurt by things he still couldn't quite comprehend in his boldness and eagerness to meet and love new friends.

He watched gleefully as she made her way over towards him. His eyes seemed glue to that tail as it flicked, back and forth, back and forth. So soft he bet, and so tempting as well. Oh yes, she seemed like someone he could get along with.
Malchiah dipped a low bow as the female approached before standing with an extra flourish of his wings.
"Ah. . yes. Quite frankly I couldn't help myself dear lady! I am Malchiah and it is my utmost pleasure to meet you." His grin could convince a mother to steal candy from her own baby. His eyes twinkled merrily, eyeing her over shamelessly. He had the feeling she wouldn't mind it.
"Uh. . but what is your name if I may ask? I'm sure it can't be near as beautiful as it's package." His eyebrows wiggled a little out of sheer reflex. He probably didn't even realize he had done it.

Cecilia was frankly delighted by the way Malchiah watched her, the way he studied her and drank in the sight of her. Oh yes, it absolutely thrilled the young doe and she shifted her body in order to flourish the beauty she'd naturally been given. If deers could purr then there was no doubt she'd be doing just that then and there. Of course, with that thought upon the back of her mind Cecilia made not to practice that felinesque sound.
"Mmmm... I am Cecilia and it is quite the pleasure to meet such a handsome male as yourself."
Sidling closer to the male she all but brushed up against him before promptly remembering why he seemed so very familiar. He reminded her of that charmingly bashful Selkie bird she had flirted with in this very park quite some time ago. What had his name been? Ezekiel, that was it.
"O!" She chimed lightly, eyes fluttering as she did indeed brush against him this time. She made not move to mask her motives, her flirtatious nature was simply shameless even at such a tender young age. "Would you happen to know a charming diamond that goes by Ez? I met him a few years back and he does so remind me of you, at least as far as physical appeal goes."
And they were definitely both oh-so nice when it came to physical appeal.
Xylia nuzzled her brother with a clear note of understanding, quite aware of why he was uncomfortable here. They were all very pretty fawns and nice too, but their existence put 'her family' in such an awkward state. Not to say, of course, that the others likely didn't feel the same. After all they were probably just as oblivious before their first meeting.
Yet, in Xylia's mind, regardless of the circumstance of their meeting they were still family and Xylia would tree them as such.
"I'm glad I could help." She spoke lowly but honestly before addressing the approaching trio. She was smiling ear to ear as she spoke, nodding to each in turn before directing herself properly toward her half-sibling who crouched nearby. "It's nice to see you as well! and this here is my half-brother, Seki. Seki, this is Claudius and Ilana and Aurelius has just introduced himself."
As Aurelius rushed up to greet him Seki hesitated and then smiled delicately. He had a rather feminine appeal about him, and his undeniably underfed form only added to that. Leaning against his bander, who appeared a little pudgy by bandersnatch standers, Seki at last spoke up to introduce himself.
"Hello. Aurelius, Claudius, Ilana... It's a pleasure to meet you all." He smiled a bit wider, easing up the more they spoke. "I'm Seki, and this pretty girl here is my Bandersnatch Mocha...but don't worry, she doesn't bite or anything."
Well, she didn't bite so long no one picked on him. She could get a little nippy when he was pushed around though. Which was, of course, the reason why his parents had scrounged up some tokens for him.

Tumnus appreciated the physical gesture, but did nothing in the way of returning it, especially in the presence of his younger siblings, who would want him to cuddle them aswell. Mostly Aurelius out of the three. Claudius didn't really seem to care for affection, and Ilana was mostly to shy to actually innitiate anything of the sort, though he knew she was the type to always accept and be happy with it.
Aurelius smiled widely at the overly skinny feline, but seeing as he was a bit strange looking himself (what with the big mohawk across his back) he never really paid attention to the peculiarities of others. Not like that would stop him from being friends with people anyway. It just wasn't important. "Nice to meet you Seki! And you to Mocha!" he smiled at the overfed Bander. "I really like banders...though...I don't have one." he said more matter of factly then in a sad tone, though there was something sad about the statement nonetheless. Ilana smiled, happy that her brother hadn't gotten himself in to any trouble, or that the little feline hadn't run off scared and hurt her brothers very fragile feelings. "Nice to meet you Seki." she said with a small smile. "Well, met!" said Claudius. Before he looked to his halfsibling Xylia.
"We were just tumbling down the hill...did you and Seki want to join us? Tumnus doesn't seem to want to play with us." he looked over at Vertumnus, but the young stag said nothing immidiately. At length he finally said. "Xylia and I don't play...we are near adulthood. Adults don't play."

"Cecilia. . " He let it roll around in his mouth a bit, tilting his head as if he was considering it's worthiness. "Ah yes, quite a wonderful name." He smirked at her with a flip of his eyebrows.
He preened at the compliment, nearly strutting even though he was still standing completely still. Malc was surprised as she moved so close, and his eyes fluttered shut for a second at the anticipation of her rubbing against him. However it didn't happen and he chirped a little in disappointment.
"Ez? Oh he's my brother!" He said happily. "He is quite charming isn't he? I've taught him everything I know. I mean. . well not that I. . " He blushed scarlet and laughed awkwardly. "Not that I practice charm or anything. It's . . It's natural you know."
He chirred as she did rub against him and he rambled a little as his thoughts went fuzzy. "Did. .you uh. . Want to go private, er. . . Somewhere more private. Noisy. . here you know."

Cecilia wished so very badly that she could purr. It would've been perfect in this moment when Malc's ability to speak was degenerating into nothing. To be completely honest, Cecilia adored this. They would bask in her presence, drink her in like sweet candy for the eyes...but in the end it was she who had them wrapped around their finger.
"Of course you don't need to practice!" Cecilia agreed ardently, sparkling with that diamond charm that came so naturally to her. At last she leaned in all the way, brushing her body beneath his beak and sighing sweetly at the feeling of his body against hers. "So he's your brother? Mmmm, it must be a family trait then... The good looks and charm, that is."
With her dainty little body pressed to his feathery chest, Cecilia hummed low in her throat. Not quite a purr, but close.
"It is quite noisy, isn't it? Somewhere more private sounds very nice." At last she pried away, allowing him to feel the contrast fully. "Lead the way..."
(You can reply once more if you'd like, I'll be starting a thread in the mature board either way<3)
Seki was luckily a very sweet boy and so long as you didn't pick on him, he could love just about anyone. Including the slightly overly friendly Aurelius. Perhaps especially so. He was an odd one, yes, but he was kind and friendly and Seki enjoyed the unbiased affection...especially since this little group hadn't taken the typical notice of his lacking weight. He hated explaining why he was so 'scrawny' but everyone seemed to ask lately.
However, as the attention shifted toward 'rolling' down the hill Seki slumped back and frowned heavily. Xylia had, despite Tumnus's warning that they were too 'grown up' for that, leaped forward with a delighted chime that she would be happy to go rolling down the hill with them. After all, even if you were grown up there was nothing wrong with being nice and humoring your siblings right?
"Sure! I'd love to. Come on, Tumnus... There's nothing wrong with playing with them even if we are adults. They're our younger siblings, its our job as the big siblings to play with 'em, y'know?"
Quietly the feline pawed at the ground, sulking a little as he was forced to point out the semi-obvious. "I can't..." His voice was too soft, even he could barely hear it. The bander beside him had to sneeze a little to remind him that he was whispering. Chewing on his lip he spoke up a little louder; audible this time, but not by much. "I can't...roll down the hill." Not with his bindings the way they were, the wire spikes sticking up from his back like an automatic deterrent for any hope of rolling.
