[OOC: I have a question in my last PM to you...so I'm keeping this post rather vague until I know the answer to it XD. I hope you don't mind <3] Growing up in the Hisstor Wastes was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because it had taught him all he knew up until this point, it had made him strong in its own special way. It was a curse, because although he was born a Queen....he often was not treated like one. The Hisstor Wastes wasn't exactly a region that people imagined royalty being spawned from...and there had been those who had dared to call him a liar...though he still didn't quite know how one could lie about ones rank. It was as plain as day upon his chest. This...coupled with his brother's also, oh so wonderful rank of Queen, left him with a sense of needing to show the world what he was capable of. You see, Taka had come from a long line of Queens, though none of them had ever sought to be part of the courts, their royalty had always been enough for them. His mother had been a beautiful Yarrow Gardens...given to his father at a young age, though able to copulate. She bore two sons, one being him, another being his brother. His brother being the first born of the two, was set to take over the family assets after their father's death. He had protested, saying that he deserved equal share of the inheritance, but his father was cold to him. He who was a Hisstor Wastes instead of a beautiful Yarrow like his mother...and (of course strangely) his brother. His father had no love in his heart for him, and as punishment for his insolence, he received the lovely scar across his face that he wore to this day. Even as a Queen he had been treated like something lesser. Even the rich had issues. Taka probably more then some. When his father had died, his brother had inherited everything, and reluctantly kept his dubious brother around. He had been such a noble creature. Had, anyway. Seeking to gain glory for himself, Taka killed him, regaining the family fortune for himself, only to be unceremoniously exiled later on by the other members of the family who had lived in HIS abode. After his battle to be something better, something respected, he had been left with nothing. But not for long. Now he set his sights on a new goal. His past would be unknown to most...for who paid attention to the inner going ons of a family in the Hisstor Wastes? Murder and Mayhem or no. It gave him the chance to gain what he truly wanted, power. He was a blank slate, and he would not allow what happened before to happen again. This time, what he took, would be his to the bitter end. He padded his lanky body up to the gates of the Diamond Court, his expression blank, but his eyes dazzling with mischief.

Cerevanna had been presiding over the Court of Diamonds for the past 15 years. She had been called many names: fickle, ruthless, conniving, and brutal. She served her Court with an iron fist but did her best to keep her subjects happy. She liked to watch them wend their balanced little lives below in the town. She knew there were other Queens in her Court, she had met them once...maybe twice...there was that Iria...allowed to stay by her goos graces with the people who came in with problems, Cerevanna had no time for them. There was also that Sparrow, Theo she believed he was called...allowed to stay because of his tolerance and his wits, he was so very orderly...just what she needed.
Neither seemed interested in running the whole Court so she allowed them to stay on, besides, that Iria was such a flattering little thing... She turned her thin, pointed face to the window overlooking the front gates to the palace...soon he would return...
Her long, sinuous body, twisted slightly as she thought of him...long dark mane, green and yellow eyes...such beautiful fur...and a Queen...
Hers!
He was returning to be hers! She had never taken any true Kings of her own, only keeping Vestra for his knowledge and senority in the Courts, he knew everyone and everything to keep the Court running, but the few Kings she had had...they had either left or she had driven them away.
None had been worthy of her. None had paid enough attention to her desires and needs, to her ideas...they had only wanted an "in" with the Court. She had thought herself to die an old maid, the frosty Queen that no one could touch...
Until last summer.
A visitor had come to the Court, to see the sights...
And to meet her.
Purely to meet her!
His beauty, despite the fact that he only possessed his Animal form, was undeniable, and the way he spoke to her...as though he had been searching his whole life only for her...
Cerevanna had longed for him ever since. He had promised to return, to be her "King". Her Queen of a King! Who would ever be able to deny her prowess after this? After the other Courts saw that even other Queens wished to be hers! And ones so marvelous and talented as her dear Taka.
"Taka..."
She whispered to the sky...soon.
Soon he would return.

The mischivous lights in his eyes went out like a light as he reached the gate, and without a word, he was let in. He could hardly control his glee as he went through, the ends of his mouth twitching slightly, willing him to smile. There are so very few times in life when a murderer is given royal treatment. She must have warned them of my return. So little do they know. he thought amongst many other things as he assended the stairs and into the Palace. He was bowed to as he entered by those who passed, and more then ever he wanted to smile, but instead kept a stoic face. This was already going to swimmingly, it filled him with confidence, and all the more reason to press forward. To have all this under his control...
A Messanger was sent off to gather Cerevanna, who said she was to be alerted at once to his return. He was offered to a sitting room, but for dramatic effect he wanted to appear as if he had just gotten here, rather then being curled up and taken care of in a room, and so he declined quietly. Deep down...everything he did, he knew, would be painful. Subservence was not his thing, and even pretending in order to gain power later filled his body with a painful rage of dislike. In the end, however, he knew anything and everything he did with Cerevanna would be worth it, even...yuck. His nose twitched slightly at the obscene thought...Cerevanna was truely nowhere near his type of woman...in personality and looks....
Suffice to say that Taka was a rather good actor.

((Sorry FP, we took too long on this thread and Kari had gotten Theo the right amount of points D8 He and Cerevanna are currently duking it out in the Courtyard so I'm going to have to call this thread closed due to a rupture in the time-line. If you still want Taka in the head spot, then if Theo wins he can challenge the Sparrow You might want to get him some powers first though as Kitty's bringing in Osias soon too<3 Thanks hon, sorry but I couldn't put the whole site on hold XD See you around, perhaps even at the battle <3))

[[ I must add, though, that I would fancy a meeting between Osias and Taka at some point, if you were to feel up to it]]

[OOC: *sighs* well...alright...I wish someone could have warned me that I needed to work on this if I wanted to keep my plot I had for him going.......I really didn't want to take anyone out...especially someone like Theo that Kari and everyone on the board loves....and Taka...well...he just fights dirty....*shrugs and shakes head a bit* oh well....]

((Sorry, m'dear I thought it was fairly self-evident. I really can't reserve spots for people, not when others are really working hard for it. Also, Taka is not the only one to fight dirty and Theo has quite a few tricks up his sleeve, don't sell him too short. The fight will be hard, I wish you the best in Taka's ambition as it will be fun to see some real Court battles instead of just all this NPC stuff and I hope he has fun skulking around and being awesome. This way he has more time to plot <3 Maybe even make an ally or two like Osias <3 ))
