Her body was screaming in protest at the odd placement she'd been forced to endure, but she said nothing, only stared. She could barely believe her eyes. The pot she'd passed him seemed to be some thick, heavy dye, which he dipped a comb into, dragging teeth and dye painfully through the newly grown fur, down to the roots and skin, as the fur grew longer. The resulting vivid yellow fluff made her open her eyes painfully wide, all the better to see the sudden, toothy grin he gave. Fear pounded through her heart, and she inhaled sharply, but he only turned back to the wooden table to grab another pot.

Similarly dipping a comb into it, he tipped her fur in a true lilac, down to the base of her tail, layering the dye artistically. "Brilliant", she breathed, completely delighted, at the work he'd done on her tail. The result rivalled her own coat. "Thank you." she said, sincerely. He'd done a good job, one that would warrant a tip. Maybe not points, but something else, almost as valuable. Prehaps a few tokens? Redeemable in Ashwin's Shoppe, these could be traded for other, more useful things...

He flipped his razor out of his pocket, quickly enough that it nearly blurred and began to trim the edges so that they looked layered and feathered. He then turned to his table and grabbed a towel, squeezing this around her tail a few times, he managed to dry it mostly off. Running the comb through it a few more times made it look much more luxurious and fluffy, he then resumed trimming the edges.

He straightened after that, looking down at his work, pleased. Now maybe this pushy Yarrow would go the hell away.

"Anyfing else for you today miss, or will you be on your way?"

Souris, blinked as he flipped the razor out of his pocket. Surely he wasn't about to use that on this? She thought, horrified, for a few minutes, before M. Todd began trimming the edges. She relaxed, relieved, even as M. Todd turned back to his table, and grabbed a towel, which he wrapped around her tail, and squeezed, faster than she could draw breath to squeal.

She swallowed the sound, and stared, surprised, as she realized he'd dried off the tail, staring even harder, as he ran the comb through the fur a few more times, turning her tail luxurious and fluffy. She appreciated the gesture, and thank him for his work.

She'd been planning to have him do a few more stylistic adjustments to her originally, but having gotten what she wanted, she answered mildly enough,"That will be all, sir, thank you", pouring a handful of tokens into the biped's paw, both as a more tangible thank you, and a tip as she left the emporium to show off his handiwork.
