Vishne wanted to balk at the list, at the prices, at the idea, at everything to do with the tattoes! Blue ears flattened against his head and he tried to come up with some sort of argument that would sway his sister.
"Daddy's going to get mad," he finally whispered, the best thing he could think of, even though he knew Venka, like most of the rest of his siblings, held their father in an off-hand sort of disrespect. Shinrai's disapproval probably wouldn't be enough to keep Venka from doing wotever it was she wanted to.
As for her description of wot they were getting, Vishne felt his eyes widening. Telepathy really would be cool, though. Like really cool. Even if Venka would just use it to boss him around some more, he would still like to still be in contact with her, especially when they were far apart. He loved his sister very much, despite the fact that she acted like the older sibling.

"Awrigh' then..." He muttered, eying the two carefully.
They were asking for quite the effect, this would take some of his more precious potions...he hoped they were ready to cough up...that little Canine though...he looked a mess of nerves...Huh.
Turning to the mix realm, Mr. Todd snorted.
"You don' look very much up on this idea, 'ere. I'll warn you now, if you wriggle while anyfing like that goes on, it won't go well for you, so calm your nerves now."
He turned back to the more business like mess of a mix breed and held out his palm.
"When I see some money, you'll see some work. 'S your lucky day m'lad...I can do exactly as you ask..."
((Once I see the points subtracted, I'll keep on truckin' XD))

Once he had received the money, Mr. Todd counted it out carefully and then pocketed it, snorting a little at the child who had hopped so eagerly into his chair.
"Righ', get yourself situated an' comfortable...a pose you can 'old for awhile...a long while. This'll hurt a bit, but not bad, while you decide on a position, I'll draw up a design for you..."
He tugged out a scrap of paper and an old ballpoint pen. After a few seconds of scratching, he turned back to the child. A complex series of Celtic-looking "V"'s and crosses tilted to three axises were centered on the paper.
"Look good enough to you?"

Hopping into his chair she took his advice on finding a suitable and comfortable position, laying on her stomach with her right shoulder to him.
“That looks like a wonderful tattoo!” She replied, extremely happy with the design that he had come up with. “What do you think of it V?” She asked, turning her head to peer at her brother. They were both getting it on their bodies, - funny thing, tattoos being permanent - so she figured it would be at least fair to attempt to give him some say on wither or not he liked the design.
Turning her attention back to face the bipedal she pointed to her back. “Can I have it put here, in the middle?” She asked. If not, well then she would simply have to find somewhere else suitable for it. He said it would hurt, but she would bare it. After all it would be well worth it.

Vishne stared at the design as well, rather impressed that the frightening looking man could draw something so nifty. The guy was still scary though. Very scary. And V suddenly shrank away to try and lean against Venka for courage. However, the little female leapt happily up into the chair like a lamb led to slaughter. Vishne stared at his sister in shock and betrayal. How could she just leave him here when.... And now she was debating about location of her tattoo.
Oh, this was just great! Father was going to kill them! Mother would....this thought paused him for a moment. Mother would probably just laugh and/or offer them booze. The little pup's ears flattened uncertainly. He was pretty sure Mommies weren't supposed to do that, at least that's wot some kid on the street had once told them quite authoritatively. Then Ira had leapt from the second story balcony and pummelled the kid into the ground. V was pretty sure they moved away after that.

"Well, glad to 'ear you like it. The middle of your back? O'course I can do that, I can probably do anyfing what isn't inside you...and don't be too sure about that either..."
He flashed a grin and situated the girl a little better so that most of her back was to him and began pulling out a few more implements, including a very long needle that he set into what appeared to be a syringe. Jamming the needle in and rubbing with a cloth that, from the smell, was soaked with alcohol, he jabbed the needle into a pot of black ink and pulled some up into the small chamber.
"Now...remember wha' I said abou' 'oldin' still, will you miss?"
He then placed mild pressure on her back to draw her skin taut with his left hand and gingerly began to sketch the image in with his right. Drawing the needle, in a series of points, across her skin to make the marking through the short fur. The fur would, from now on, grow in black at the roots, wherever the ink touched her.
He glanced once at the lad still waiting and quaking, snorting and rolling his eyes, he continued his work.

She was pleased when he informed her that she could, indeed, get the tattoo on her back. She really was hoping that he had a mirror she could use afterwards to see it. It had looked absolutely lovely on paper and she was sure that it would look just as magnificent on her skin. At his reminder to hold still, the small female gave a nod of her head before tucking her forehead against the seat to help hold herself still. Not able to see what the bipedal was doing to her back she was only aware of the pulls where he pulled her skin taunt to help him and the small pricks that came from the needle. Quickly becoming bored she contemplated humming a little tune but decided against it. It was kind of hard to hum a tune when your neck was squished against itself. Instead she decided to try a little small talk. “So what else do you offer?” she asked to the bipedal, wondering what other services he offered besides tattoos. (( Trying to find a less eye-bleed yellow for her < <;)

The Wolf chuckled dryly as he moved the needle delicately over the girl's back.
"Wha' else do I offer? Wah' else do you wan'? I can manage almost anyfing you wan' as far as cosmetics go."
He moved past the "V"'s and started in on the Celtic crosses, carefully adding in the swirling detail with the needle, stopping to refill it only once.
About ten minuets later, he stopped and stretched, placing the needle on the table and cracking his back.
"Awrigh' that's you done, 'ere, take a look."
He held a mirror out and angled it over the mix's shoulder.
"I'll get to the enchantment once I get your brother fixed up like I did you. It'll be easier if both are complete..."

So he did offer other things? Well she would definitely have to make a trip to see him again in the future when she had earned more money, all of her current ones being spent on the fun tattoo.
As he continued to work on her back, she made sure that she held as still as she was physically able to. After all she did not want to cause him to mess up. Making a face at the idea she kept herself hushed and still. When he announced that he was finished with her tattoo for the present moment she pulled herself off of the chair to make room for her brother.
Motioning towards the chair she arched her eyebrow at her brother, who reluctantly climbed into the chair. She was quite interested to see where he would decide to have the tattoo placed. She was also quite anxious to have him finished and done with so they could get to the enchantment part. That part sounded like it would be much more fun. When V maneuvered himself so that his middle of lower back was showing she raised an eyebrow. He wanted it there? Well . . . that was unexpected.
(( His tattoo position was written with permission <3 Figured this would help to save on posts? XD;))

Mr. Todd gave a rather pleased grin as the girl gave her approval and hopped back down onto the floor, giving her...friend? Brother? A stare until he also clambered up, positioning himself without a word and hunching as though he expected the Wolf to lay into him with a rusted saw-blade.
He grinned and also pulled the skin taut with his left hand, positioning the needle after refilling it with ink.
"Like I said to 'er...'old still and try to keep any squealings to yourself if you please."
He went a bit quicker on the boy now that the pattern was more firmly cemented into his mind, only having to refill once and then holding up the mirror for his inspection as well.
"Now, if you could both jus' stand next to each ovver on the floor there, I'll get to work on the charm."
He muttered, grabbing a small book bound in leather out of his drawer and flipping through a few pages.
"This'll only hurt a pinch."
He said with a grin, pulling out the ink he had just used and filling a dropper with it and a small vial of powder. Sprinkling the two children with it, he then took the dropper and let one drop fall before the pair of them, he then hunched over and began muttering something unintelligible, his face screwed up in concentration, eyebrows furrowed.
A small burst of light would flash before their eyes as the powder on them vanished along with the drop of ink. Their tattoos would burn fiercely for a moment and then everything would stop...a small tingling in their mind would be the signal that the spell had worked.
"So...how'd it do?"
