He was showing her the way out. She narrowed her eyes as she shifted her weight. Her tea cup was on the tray as she leaned on the table a bit. He wanted her to leave when he was talking to himself and acting weird. Pravus wasn't giving her an explanation or anything.
Peaches didn't like that at all.
"No. Tell me what's going on," she said with a bit more force than she normally did. She cared about Pravus--even loved him in that weird brotherly sort of way. He was family to her. She didn't want him to get hurt. She didn't want him to hurt himself. This was just a bit too much for her to bear. If he could explain the problem then she wanted to hear the answer.
"Please?" She said as she remained where she was. Her gloved hands were squeezing the edge of the table as she waited for a response. This was probably a really bad idea.

Fino caught the look and met it with one of his own, more subdued than Pravus's. Even though he knew the woman couldn't see him, he felt slightly uneasy about having her there, at least for the moment. She was watching them, watching him indirectly through Pravus, and he didn't like it. Not until he knew what was going on exactly. Besides, she was being far too pushy for his liking. Were he able, he would have said or done something himself. That... was going to be horribly, unbelievably frustrating, he already knew.
"I want to be alone with you until I understand this a little bit better," he said, moving to stand next to Pravus and put a hand possessively on his shoulder. That was the one thing that was keeping him from either fading away completely or having a fit, the ability to touch - or at least, 'touch' - Pravus. "She needs to leave."

Pravus made a small keening noise, starting to grow upset. Why wouldn't she leave? He just didn't understand it. He stood beside the door and opened it. Fino's voice in his ear did nothing to make him calm down but the hand on his shoulder grounded him. His opposite hand came up to rest on that phantom hand upon his shoulder.
"Fino asked you to leave, please, leave." He demanded quietly, his voice settling. . . He really wanted her to leave and to leave now.
His free hand tapped on the door his eyes glancing back over his shoulder towards Fino and back to Peaches.
"We have things to discuss. . .leave." He said again, imploring her to leave and let them be. Though how would she know who he meant by he? And surely if Fino was dead Peaches would find it odd that he 'said' anything. Pravus didn't realize this however, content as he was with his Queen at his back once again. He watched the cat steadily.

Peaches let out a low hiss. He had just said that Fino was talking to him. Serafino. His dead Queen. Was talking to him, and wanted her to leave. Oh, this was just not good. Her fingers cracked as she balled them into fists. She had half a mind to scream at the top of her lungs at Pravus that his Queen was very much dead and that he need to stop obsessing over it. She wanted to kick and scream and just... get away but not.
Holding back a growl she stalked out of the room, grabbing the door and slamming it behind her. It was childish, but she wasn't going to give up so soon. She would use her shadow ability to spy on Pravus. She didn't want him to do anything regrettable.
She slipped into a rather forgotten place, where her clothing theoretically wouldn't be found. And turned into a shadow of her self, all her clothing in a pile, including her bindings.
And she slipped through the shadows, hanging in the door frame of Pravus' room. She might get closer, she would wait a bit though.

Not caring whether or not the woman had a fit about his instructions, Fino waited until she had gone and slammed the door before turning to look at his King once more. His former King? That didn't sound right... so long as he existed, Pravus would be his King. That wasn't something he was willing to question right now.
Instead, he wrapped his arms around the other man, rested his chin on top of Pravus's head, and closed his eyes. He still didn't really know how any of this had happened. That would be his first priority, he supposed. But no, that wasn't necessarily true. His first priority would be to make sure that Pravus was calm and under control. He knew better than anyone just how important some kind of stability was for the feline. He'd worked things so that he became that stability... but now he was dead. What had been holding the man together before now? He'd found him just about ready to kill himself, so obviously whatever it was hadn't been doing the job properly.
"Tell me how much you missed me," he murmured, half request and half demand. That could be a starting point. His arms tightened and it all felt so real, but he couldn't tell what was real right now... was he even real?

His golden eyes followed the female out. Why didn't she understand that Fino had asked. . . surely she always listened to his Queen before. If only out of respect for his rank. He made a small mew of uncertainty, he didn't want to hurt Peaches but his Queen was just so much more important.
The cat shivered violently as his Queen wrapped his tall form around him. . . it had been far too long since he felt that embrace. He rocked back against Fino's body just a little, pressing his back against his Queen's stomach. A small happy noise came out as Fino's voice spoke again.
"I missed you. . . " How did he explain how he had felt while his Queen had been gone? Pravus had never truly been alone but he might as well have been.
"I missed you so badly I'd have rather been dead, to be in your arms again." His nose began to burn as tears welled up in his eyes again. He had been crying too much lately.
"I missed you so badly. . . . " He paused. "That I actually TALKED to Bernard." He snorted and laughed sobbingly. And now, Bernard and he would always be on different footing. Pravus respected the other King now, and he believed it went both ways. But it just seemed ridiculous that he had been THAT lonely to actually speak to him.

Fino wasn't sure if Pravus realized he was invisible to everyone else. Judging from his actions... probably not. He sighed into the other man's hair and ran his hands along wiry arms, trying to get the trembling to stop. There wasn't much he could do about it now besides comfort, and even that had yet to be seen. He'd never been especially 'good' at comforting anyone besides Pravus, and only him because of some of the things he'd done to the cat's head.
"That sounds about right," he muttered, then blinked at the bit about his uncle. And Pravus was crying again, though this seemed less desperate and more... no, desperate still fit, but it wasn't to the same degree. He shifted back a little to tilt Pravus's head, looking into the watering yellow eyes. He didn't know if he was able to cry as a ghost. Not that he would, but it was an idle wondering. His mind still felt very disconnected from everything. Being able to 'touch' his King was helping to ground him a little bit more, though.
He allowed himself a brief kiss, just a brush of lips. "Good. I would have been disappointed if you hadn't grieved. But now I'm here, and you're the only one who can see me. So in a way, you have me all to yourself. There's no need for so much upset now, kitten." He knew the suggestion that Pravus wouldn't have to share him with anyone would be a good one for calming him down, or at least making him think about it and distracting him.

Peaches was thankful that she was a shadow. These happenings were absolutely terrifying. The way Pravus was moving... the way he was talking. Serafino was dead, but it was as if the cat saw him in the room. No, that was absolutely horrifying. This wasn't happening! This couldn't be happening.
Was she so useless that Pravus was going to commit suicide just so he... he... She couldn't break down. Not quite yet. She had to stay and watch, to see if anything got worse. Then she would tell Mephit. Then she would leave. She had to get away. She simply had to escape from the palace. There was no way she could keep her happy face.
She could slip out of the door frame and take the place of Pravus' shadow, but did she really want to be that close to him when he was going crazy. No, she didn't she'd just watch from here. It was 'easier.'

He let his head be turned with no resistance into an awkward position. But he could see his Queen, feel him against him. That brief touch of lips on his made him catch his breath and his eyes flutter. He kissed back but it was so brief as to be slightly awkward even more. He wanted to just grab Fino, and wrap himself firmly around him.
"I'm. . .I'm the only one?" He asked quietly. Perhaps that had explained Peaches reaction. . .? Pravus had never really accepted that Fino was dead, and just as he was about to he had put a knife to his wrist. Now that his Queen was back he couldn't quite believe that it wasn't REAL either. But the statement that he was all his?
The cat began to purr, moving his arms to rest above his Queen's. Odd that he felt a bit of strain in his arms when he did that, he ignored it though. Slowly the tears receded and Pravus was left standing happily in the cool arms of his Queen, purring.
"Did. . you miss me too?"
