Nayeli bit her lip and hesitated outside of the door to her Jack's study. When Leon went inside, that usually meant he wanted to be alone with his books, but he'd been in there for three hours now and lunch had come and gone. Next to her sat a tea tray on a small wheeled cart, which she'd prepared with the help of one of the Leverets in the warren. She knew very well how to do it herself, having been born and raised a Leveret and serving in this warren for a few years now. Still, it was easier to manage with help. Her paws didn't get nearly so tired of gingerly handling the cups and handles. Taking a small breath, hoping she wasn't about to annoy him, she knocked quietly on the study door and opened it, wheeling in the tray and hopping behind it. "Leon? I've brought you some tea..." Her eyes were down, just in case he didn't want to be disturbed. If he dismissed her after receiving the tea, she would just go back and find Chelan. The other Doe would be able to tell her what she'd done wrong and what she could have said to make it less an intrusion. She was always nice about that. Even thought she'd been a Doe for nearly a month and a half now, she still looked up to the slightly older girl in near-awe for having been born with that beauty and grace, attracting Leon's eye and being taken as his first Doe. She always felt so awkward with it, like she wasn't matching up. Still, their Jack had pursued her even as a Leveret. It left her with a small, warm feeling in the bit of her stomach whenever she thought about it.

Leon gave a growl of frustration before throwing the sheet of paper he had been reading on top of his desk. It was no where to be found. He had spent the last three hours searching for a single piece of information, gone through various amounts of books and papers, and still it eluded him. Starring moodily at his desk his full ear perked up when he heard someone open it. Everyone in his Burrow was more then aware that when he was in his study he wanted to be left alone; if it was a Leveret they were going to learn a valuable lesson from their mistake. Watching as whoever it was slowly made their way inside, however, his expression quickly changed to a flirtatious smile when he noticed that it was one of his Does. “Ah mon cheri, what is it that brings you to my Study?” he asked raising an eyebrow. He was curious to know what had compelled his meek Doe to enter his Study, especially since it was a place that everyone knew was not usually welcomed to visitors.

Eli's face flushed with pleasure at the endearment, pushing the cart in a little bit further before dropping to all fours and daring to look up at him with hopeful green eyes. He didn't sound overly annoyed and he was smiling at her, so maybe it was acceptable? "I didn't want to disturb you, but I thought you might need something warm to drink. No one else wanted to bother you but... well, you missed lunch and I didn't want you to go hungry..."
She never knew what to say! If she could turn a pretty phrase like Chel could, maybe she wouldn't always feel so terribly inadequate in these situations. Still, the thought of him going without food or drink made her stomach flop a little bit in worry. It wasn't good for him. Tea would at least be warm going down and tide him over until dinnertime.
"Would you like me to pour you a cup, or would you rather I leave?" she asked in a hesitant tone. If he wanted her to leave, she would be gone the second the words were out of his mouth.

She was such a good Doe, and her caring after him made him more then a little pleased with her. He looked at the Doe for a long moment, weighing his whims. She really was cute and endearing in way she fumbled and flushed.
“Why do I not have you do me the favor” he said in reply to her question about who to pour tea. Giving her an encouraging smile he let his eyes wonder over her possessively, wither she noticed it or not, as she went about the task. Taking the cup from her he took a sip, allowing the warmth to settle in his empty stomach.
“If you are up to it, I have a small challenge for you.” He said with a smile, easily falling into his flirtatious habit. If she chose to accept it and was able to pull it off, well then chances were higher of him keeping her around longer. “It seems that you have caught me at a time where I am in need of a distraction. Your challenge is: what are you going to do to rectify the situation?” He asked her, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Now that he definitely wasn't annoyed with her and wanted her to stay to pour his tea, Eli couldn't hold back a small smile as she carefully maneuvered her paws. She didn't want to spill a drop, especially not with him watching. She assumed he was looking to see how well she did and that she didn't make a mess, the mentality of a Leveret that she hadn't quite managed to shake entirely.
With both paws pressed carefully to the warm sides of the china cup, she handed it to him, blushing happily through her gray fur when their paws brushed. She felt so silly and foolish, but at the same time, he hadn't asked her to leave yet so she couldn't be making a complete idiot of herself.
Leon smiled at her and she felt her heart do a funny little flip inside her chest. A challenge? She would do anything for him...
"Well, I... I suppose I would have to distract you, then," she said with a small laugh, nerving herself up to take a risk. Chel always told her she was too timid in her attentions. She'd given her tips before when she was being especially nice, secure enough in her own allure and position. With a moment's hesitation, she waited until his cup was resting on the wood of his desk before hopping up into his lap and resting her head against him. She tried not to let herself tremble with either delight or a thrill of anxiety, but she probably didn't succeed.

Placing the tea cup on his desk he brought his arms down to rest on the arm rests, neither encouraging nor discouraging any action she chose. He was interested to see just what it was that the female would do. When she jumped into his lap he gave a pleased smile. It seemed that she was slowly becoming more outward in her actions – a change that he was enjoying for the moment.
He wrapped his right arm around her waist, pulling her closer to allow more snuggling, his left began to pet her hair, his nails being dragged through gently to get rid it of any knots. Though it was only slight, he noticed that she was shaking. Figuring it was nerves he nuzzled her forehead for a moment before he pulled back to stare down at her.
“So tell me, what has mon cheri been up to today?” He asked curiously.

The warmth of him through his dapper clothes, pressed against her... holding her... petting her hair...
It was still a new thing to her, that dark mane, having grown when she finally made the transition to Doe. Most Jacks preferred them on their women and the Does without them were usually beautiful enough to make up for the lack. Bianca had helped her style it attractively so that it was out of the way, with Chel giving tips while watching the Leveret carefully braid her hair. Leon certainly seemed to like the addition, a rich charcoal black to match her Mid-Range fur. Her mother had a mane, from what she could remember glimpsing the Doe, and it was just as dark.
She took a breath and let it out slowly, relaxing against him as his nose moved against her forehead and his hand continued gentle trails through her mane. The trembling stopped and she just took a moment to close her eyes and let his nearness warm her.
Then she was shifted and looking up into beautiful blue eyes and had to snap herself out of staring at him for a moment, blushing before she answered. Her face was never this hot around anyone else, only him. It always left her feeling so flustered, but she wouldn't trade it for anything. "Today? Well, I helped Chel a little bit in the morning and the day was nice enough to enjoy a small lunch outside, but when I came back in and the Leverets told me you hadn't eaten, I got worried and... decided to make you tea..."
Bianca had helped her and wanted none of the credit, which she thought was unbelievably sweet of her. Leaning forward just a little bit, she brushed her nose lightly against his and smiled. "Will you be coming out for dinner, Leon? You know we would love to see you." She would love to see him anywhere, anytime. The thought was fervent.

“It seems like you have been quite the busy Doe today,” he said endearingly, giving her a smile. “And that certainly was very kind of you, the gesture is greatly appreciated.”
When she brushed her nose against his, he returned the favor brushing his back after she had finished. He enjoyed making her blush; it only ever seemed to add to her beauty and charm. “I suppose I could come out for dinner, since a pretty thing like you asked so nicely.” he teased, taping her on the nose before he relaxed, leaning back in his chair, pulling her along too.
He really did adore her mane, he thought to himself as he absentmindedly continued to trail his fingers through it before moving his hand to pet down her back. And the colors and markings of her region . . . simply fascinated him. He could not quite say what it was about the dark colors, but the simple contrast from his own had caught his eye the first time he had laid eyes on her.
“And what should we do after dinner?” he questioned, leaning his head to the side to see what response she would give and if he would get to see another blush.

In Eli's opinion, she'd been terribly lazy in not being able to do more for him. She was still used to the flurry of activity in keeping the warren running smoothly and being a Doe now, her only priority was him. When he wasn't around, she still had to figure out what to do with herself. Chel never had any problem finding entertainment, or if she did, she always found someone to fix the problem.
She shivered happily when he brushed his nose gently against hers in return and pulled her back to sit with him, almost on him. Her nose wriggled slightly from the tap, whiskers twitching. It made her so happy, gazing into those gorgeous blue eyes and knowing they were focused solely on her. It made her feel like the most precious thing in the world, and all because she belonged to him. When he called her pretty, she couldn't do anything but laugh a little breathlessly and tuck her head against his chest, trying to hide another blush.
It only got worse when he asked what they should do after dinner. Beneath her fur, her face turned practically crimson as she nosed at his collarbone. "I'll do anything you want, Leon. I would... love to spend time with you."

At her words ‘I would . . . love to spend time with you’ his smile widened, his ego’s fur stroked quite nicely.
“Anything, huh? Well that sure does leaves quite a few of options open. How about I list a few options that strike my interest and you can choose from there, hrms?” He asked her, looking down at her for a moment before glancing up trying to think of things to do.
“Let’s see . . . a nice stroll by the lake sounds wonderful does it not. Or we could stay in and read by the fire.” Either sounded like something that would be worth his time and interest, after all it was all a conquest to the same end either way for him, might as well make her feel special in the process. She was his Doe after all and therefore she deserved the best he could offer as long as she kept his interest up.
“Or is there something else that you would like to suggest we do this evening?” he asked bringing his gaze back to her, a grin on his face.
