Dinner had been filled with fun innuendos and suggestive looks, most of them aimed at Eli though he had given a fair share to Chel. He stood waiting by the entrance to his Burrow waiting for her to meet him. After they had finished their dinner he had given her a meeting time, needing a little time to freshen himself up. Appearances were everything after all. Not to mention it had given him time to set up for the games he had planned.
As he waited for her to join him he surveyed his halls with a pleased look. Considering how new he was to having his own Warren it looked quite magnificent. There were still additions and finishing touches he wanted to make to it, but those were still to come.
When she finally joined him he gave her a welcoming smile. “There you are, mon cheri. I was afraid you had changed your mind.” he gave her a mock frown to match the sad tone. Quickly smiling to show her he was joking he waved an arm towards the door. “Shall we?”

Dinner had Eli squirming in her seat almost as badly as she had been while in his lap, blushing every time she remembered the feeling of his hands running along her fur when he would give her one of those looks that she just couldn't turn away from. It was torture, but in the best way, and Chel would probably know exactly what was going on. She was usually quick to pick things like that up, another skill the younger Doe admired. Someday when she was 'better at being a Doe', she might acquire the same kinds of skills and intuition, or so she hoped.
She hopped back to her room and fussed in front of the small mirror for a moment, making sure that her braid was properly settled and there weren't too many flyaway hairs to get in her eyes or look messy. She groomed back the fur of her face and brushed down her legs and feet before waiting just inside her door for the right time. Another five minutes... another four... three... and she could go!
Out of the room and down the hall, she smiled in return when he greeted her and rubbed her nose against one of his hands before sitting on her haunches. "When have I ever refused an invitation from you, Leon? That would just never happen." Going back down to all fours, she fluffed her tail and looked up at him once more before they walked outside, under the thankfully cloudless sky and brilliant moon.

He gave her a smile when she greeted him by rubbing her nose against one of his hands. He really did enjoy the gesture and when she wiggled her tail, he resisted the urge to give a chir of pleasure. Shifting his gripe the small covered basket he held in his other paw he led the way outside. As he walked he took gently possession of one of her ears, stroking it with absentmindedly with his thumb.
It did not take him very long to lead her towards the destination he had in mine. Reaching it he let go of her ear. Walking over to the base of one of the trees that lined the lake side he placed the basket down, leaving it covered, before he turned his full attention back to the Doe.
“So tell me, mon cheri. Now that you have me all to yourself, what is it that you would like to do?” He of course already had something planned, but that did not mean they could not have a little fun before the real fun.

Eli made a small, happy noise when he caught the tip of her ear, his soft touches sliding over the silky fur and making her shiver a little bit. Such a delightful Jack, and he was always so tactile... she could never guess where he would touch her next, randomly or possessively or just affectionately. Any and all of them were perfectly fine to her. It meant that he was paying attention to her, something she hadn't yet gotten over for all that it had been nearly two months. She hoped it would last forever, and in her naivety had brought herself to believe that it would.
She walked at the same pace and followed him when he approached the tree, her eyes straying to the basket he'd been carrying this whole time. She hadn't been under the impression they were going to have any sort of picnic, since they'd just shared the evening meal, so she hadn't the faintest idea what he could have brought with him. Dessert? But she wouldn't have thought... ah well. This was why he was Leon.
"Keep you all to myself," was the first thing that came to her mind. She blushed when she said it, not at all an uncommon sight. He could probably guess at it even if he couldn't see it beneath her fur so well in the moonlight. "Besides that... well... what would make you happy?"

Running a finger under his chin he gave her a gentle smile.
“Oh, you have me to yourself mon cheri, do not worry yourself over that. As for what would make me happy? Well mon cheri, I have a little dessert and fun planed for us, but I was figuring you might want to go for a small walk before then. After all we did come out here for a walk did we not?”
The walk would do them both good. It would do him good to stretch his legs; having been caved up in the Burrow for the last few days, as well as it would help the food settle before they got to the fun.
Taking gentle hold of her ear again he started off on their walk, no real destination in mind. “So, mon cheri, tell me. What do you think of being a Doe so far?” It was a great pride to him that he had managed to woo the poor Leveret into being something much more useful and pretty. It had been what? Two months so far?

Fluffing a bit at his words, Eli went along with him happily, her shoulder brushing against his thigh with every few steps. "We... yes, we did come out for a walk," she agree with a small laugh. Getting her all excited like that, and then making them both wait through dinner and the walk and then dessert, whatever it was going to be, that was just mean. But in a good way. The ear that wasn't being held twitched every now and then in anticipation and excitement, but she tried to keep it from her face as best she could. Maybe the walk would help her calm down. If he kept stroking her ear like that, though, she didn't imagine it would.
"It's wonderful," she murmured in response to his question. "I'd really never thought about it, becoming a Doe before, but when you actually took an interest in me... how could I not make the effort to change for you?" She looked up at him, paying far less attention to her steps than to him and his nearness and his touches anyway. "I like being... yours."

“I knew that you were going to be a pretty Doe the first time I laid eyes on you. It pleases me every day that you took such an effort to please me.” He gave a wink before turning his gaze to her ear. Rubbing it gently with his thumb he suppressed a smile. This was going very well indeed. From experience of being around her he knew that his games were getting to her. He was hoping this little game would make her a little more outward. After all it was all about the chase.
Pulling his gaze away from the beautiful Doe he was more then aware that her gaze was upon him. Making sure the action was not obvious, he pulled himself up straight, his chest puffed out a little. Keeping an eye out on the surrounding area, a cautious nature he had from having spent years fending for himself to a great degree, he easily stepped over the small log that was across their path. His small Doe might not have been as lucky.
“Watch out, mon cheri” He cried out reaching forward to catch her should she fall. His outcry was mostly from fear of the little bunny hurting herself more then any anger he might have had for her not looking where she was going.

The more Eli watched her Jack, the more handsome he became. His native region really was the perfect backdrop for him, the moon overhead and gleaming off the lakes only accenting the pale brilliance of parts of his fur and casting the rest in a silvery light. He was so tall, taller than she remembered her father being even through the eyes of a child, but that may have just been her infatuation. She didn't care. He was tall and beautiful and complimenting her. He wanted her. It was the most delicious feeling.
Normally she would have been more observant and noticed the obstruction in her path, but watching him with such an intent gaze left her flighty in other areas and she made a startled noise in the back of her throat as her paw hit something she wasn't expecting. Her chin would have cracked against the wood if he hadn't moved to support her.
She blushed, this time from embarrassment rather than excitement or desire, caught staring when she should have been paying attention to her own feet. How utterly silly of her. "Ah, thank you, Leon. I apparently have no focus today." Besides him. No wonder Chel teased her so often.

Kneeling down he easily supported her weight as he placed her back on her feet. Brushing his hands down her fur to resettle it as well to take the chance to just touch her, he checked her for any injuries. Finding none he looked up at her with a gentle chiding look.
“No worries, mon cheri, nothing was harmed after all, right?” He gave her a soft tap on the nose before giving it a quick lick. “Perhaps we should postpone the walk to a time when there is a little more light.” he said, before sweeping her up in his arms, bridal style, before turning around and heading back to the tree.
Nearing it he leaned over so that she would slide from his arms. After she was settled he walked over to the tree, taking a seat so that his back was supported against the tree trunk. Using a finger he motioned for her to join him. After she had he settled her between his thighs, half on his lap.

Eli shivered as his hands roamed over her legs and paws, ghosting along her fur and making her flush more pronounced. Oh, she must have looked like such a little nitwit... but he was being so nice about it. She twitched her nose at the tap and then licked under his chin before he could pull away entirely, the only place she could reach on such short notice. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea. I- eep!" The rest of her words were swallowed by a small, surprised noise at being swept up.
Oh, she loved being held by him. Considering how long, tortuously long the afternoon had been waiting for dinner and then afterwards, she was more than happy to think warm thoughts about his chest pressed so nicely against her side and the smile on his muzzle that she could just see peeking out from the way her head was settled against his shoulder.
She let herself fall to the ground with slightly more grace than she'd shown a few minutes before, landing firmly on her paws and staying where she was, watching him until he crooked his finger. With a smile to match his, she slowly approached and crawled until she could rest her paws against his chest in a mimicry of what she'd done in his study. "I'm so sorry to spoil the walk, but I have to admit... that I like this even better..."
Here, alone, in his lap and settled against him, she could pretend that there was no one else, just him and her alone on an absolutely beautiful night.
