And there was a lovely lady indeed! The day was just getting better and better, he felt, and there wasn't anything that would be able to knock the stupid grin off of his face short of a natural catastrophe. And depending on what happened, where, and to whom, that catastrophe might even cause the grin to widen (if that were even possible, really). He wanted to plop his butt down for the chat, but if they were going to be going somewhere fairly soon then it would probably be best to keep standing, at least for now - he could relax later, after their party.

"Pleasure to meet you, miss!" he said cheerfully, nodding in greeting. "The name's Maxwell. Theofilus offered to take me to some sort of meal and party 'cause he's a real generous guy and needs cheering up. Well, and the fact that I was a Two last night, which just makes this great," he added, gesturing once more to the Eight on his chest. His rather puffed-out chest.

"Care to join us? I'm sure your delivery could wait a bit, hm?" She was a gorgeous little thing, all blues and greys, and he'd be the first one to admit that he was a complete sucker for a pretty mane like hers. Even if he could see the little undercurrents that were running between her and her bird friend, that didn't stop him from looking and appreciating, hm? "I'm sure you can think of a good place to go, right?" Cue the grin. Er, rather, continue the grin, ears perked forward, eyes twinkling.

He couldn't see the map from where he was sitting, or else he would have offered to go the the Palace first, and then off to get something to eat (or drink).

Rogers was a genius at times, especially when he came up with some crazy master plan. He knew sending her off to do an errand was the only way she could get her out of the firm without protest. The sparrow would have shaken his head and rolled his eyes at the man if he was here. "I suppose I should tell Rogers to send you on less errands. Or at lest verbally tell you landmarks." Theofilus gently took the map from Kelasia and glanced at it. She was actually pretty close to where she was supposed to get going.

Oh well. They could wait. Everyone needed a break or celebration. This would be both. "Of course my mood is much better now that I have company. If you can't think of anything, Kelasia, that's perfectly all right. I think there's a nice bar and restaurant around here that we can go to."

At least he heard it was good.
