He was quickly losing his patience with this one who was ever so good at dancing around subjects that would set him off. his speeches also began to resemble pitty, wrapped in a sugar coating and he was quickly losing interest in being here. In fact being caught here was rather agitating to begin with, and he wasn't exactly the cheeriest little rodent to begin with. So long story short, he was climbing toward the end of his rope, and the end of his patience, but he was also trying quite hard not to let his company notice this either.
The world was out to get him? Really now, like he hadn't figured that one out? He had been born a 6, he knew all to well the cruelty of others and that little speech pulled a sneer to the rodents muzzle. However, a thought occurred to him, had he said that Osias had... honor? Oh my, why hadn't he heard that at first? He couldn't help it... that word, honor, made him lose it and he just started laughing... hard, for awhile before regaining his composure.
Honor? Hardly... it's closer to debt then honor.
And his face returned to it's rather unamused appearance that it had been in previously. which was actually it's resting appearance. It didn't change when he was offered food, which, after everything Lucio had said, could betaken as mildly offensive.
Peace offering, eh?

Shakeing his head, Lucio sighed and cursed softly to himself. He seemed to always forget the fact that something he said a few miniutes ago could very well have far reaching affects on what he was saying -now-.
"A debt then. Though I'v met more than one who would not honor such a thing, espically after given the chance and means to escape...and as for the food, please forgive me for not thinking. It was a bit hard not to notice the look on your face..I meant no diss-respect. I just happen to carry a snack when I feel my walks may take more than a couple of hours. But I fear I may be starting to wear out my welcome with you. I was not exactly expecting to make a friend on my jaunt tonight, but I certianly do not wish to make an enemy either. You are welcome to the food though, if you wish. I am certian I can catch something once I get back into the Woods, if needed. I hope you can find peace, Osias. Or at least make peace with what keeps you on these barren clifftops"
-turning slighlty, Lucio begins to tread softly back towards the treeline.-

In his younger years Osias might have felt sorry for how he was acting, or how he had been talking to someone who really meant no harm at all, but now he just didn't feel a thing. He needed no one and he trusted no one, it was simple as that. This binding to this particular debt was one he'd never be able to shake, unless the lowlands themselves no longer existed. He;d done something terrible which had seeped into the grounds it's self, and nothing would ever make up for that... and he knew it. However, the food WAS rather tempting and he edged toward it as Lucio went to make his way from the rat, however, he wouldn't make it far before another figure would meet him, all smiles and possessing possibly the prettiest eyes a girl could. She peered at him and her smile widened, she to had always thought that the Sorgaire residents were quite pretty, with their blues and the white and look, wings! Her eyes widened with intrigue and she spoke with a voice that was just as sweet as sugar, if not more. Oh my! Look at those pretty wings! She trotted toward him, giggling as she did so. This giggle, of course, attracted Osias' attention and he peered toward where Lucio had headed toward.

Coming up short, Lucio looked down at the newcomer. Despite the obvoious fact that the girl was from the Lowlands, he couldent help but notice her beauty. She had such mesmorizing eyes. And twin tails. Now that would be interesting indeed. Looking over the wound in her back, Lucio wonderd if mabey someday someone in Corvistowne would look at these and maybe find a way to help their ailments.
Shakeing his head slightly, Lucio tried his best to smile and then inclined his head to the newcomer. Trying his best to not spread his wings at her notice of them, he could not help but twitch them just a little bit. "Ah, hello". A slight grin pulling the corner of his mouth as he looked her over and said "Yet another soul out for a late night stroll, hmm?" Quickly looking back over his shoulder at Osias, he looked to the girl again and said in an over-dramatic stage whisper "You really should be carefull when you travel so late at night. You never know what kinds of folk you will run into" finishing the joke with a soft chuckle so all would know it was said in fun.

Also, despite being from the lowlands, she had the distinct Hearts symbol on her chest, a definite rarity from said region. She also didn't follow his gaze back, as happy to see a stranger as she was. She trotted a happy little circle around him, those twin tails swinging side to side happily. Her joy had only doubled since he appeared to be a rather kind stranger.
Mmm, yes, night strolls are the best, it's dark and quiet.
When he whispered she tilted her head to the side a bit in a rather canine fashion and her eyes widened a bit in a childish way before she began to giggle, catching his hints of a joke.
Sometimes, but no one is really scary here.
Her voice also seemed to carry a childish undertone, a genuine one. It was actually a very good peek into her mind as well, innocent, naive and firmly wrapped up in children's fairy tales. Still inquisitive she tilted her head to the other side and gave him a smile as she spoke.
Why are you out here so late, hmm?

Smiling at her bubbly nature, Lucio settled himself down again, and followed her with his eyes as she made her little circle about himself. Such a happy girl! And a fellow Heart! And..she seemed so full of innocence. It truly was amazing. If only people of all the different lands could take a note or two from her, the whole place would be so much better he thought to himself.
He chuckles softly to himself when he heard her remark about nobody being scary here. He knew there were people all over the map who would disagree with that statement, and made sure to pass on their beliefs to their children via late night scary stories to make sure they behaved. Yet another example of the 'accepted racism' in the world.
"Me? Oh..many of the same reasons as yourself it would seem. I too prefer the nighttime for my wanderings, while the world..or so I once belived..was sleeping. But low and behold, tonight I run into a nice enough Rat..if a bit reserved. And now, I meet you Mi'Lady..who I must say must be one of the happiest creatures I have ever encountered. Not that my travels are overly extensive. I wish all could take a lesson from you..though I still think it would be wise to show a -bit- of caution now and again. I'd hate to see such a lovely lady hurt."

She listened to him with that same pleasant smile planted firmly upon her muzzle, the fact that she always seemed to be smiling made a lot of people think she was rather dense, but really she had intelligence somewhere in there, she was a heart after all, but it was just buried by a lot of things. Her head was filled with fairy tales and happy endings and nothing in her life that didn't fit those guide lines made any impact really and she was perfectly happy with that. Perhaps if the world believed it was involved in a fairy tale, it would be much better and it would have so many more happy endings.
You wander? Where have you been? I've never left here, how different are things?
He questions were all said pretty quickly and her eyes were filled with intrigue. Her twin tails danced side to side in unison as well, he had her total attention, well, for a little while. At his praise her cheeks grew several shades darker, but it would be quite hard to see under her fur and at night. She wasn't really the type to get compliments, really, and made her go a little shy.
Thank you....
However, that shyness didn't last long as she perked at the mention of a rat. A rat, in the lowlands? A nice enough one? Surely it was her knight! Oh she hadn't seen him in ages! Surely he'd come to visit her, or maybe to take her away with him finally?
A rat? What did he look like? Is he still here? Did he say his name?

"Ah..where have I been? A good question. I'v been around, but nowhere really. I wander and roam..though I never really seem to have a destination. And things vary with place to place, as things will. But the same can be said when walking down a street in ones home town. But you have never left? Not even for a little while?" Lucio looked truly puzzeld at this news. He smiled though, at her reaction to his small compliment. He was sure it was something she dident get to hear nearly often enough.
"Ah yes, the Rat", Lucio continued. "He was just standing right over there", Lucio said as he looked over his shoulder to see where Osias was....or at least had been. "I belive he goes by the name Osias. Do you know of him?" Lucio asked as he tilted his head slightly to one side. The girl sure seemed to perk up..as if she wasent cheery already, at the mention of his newfound aquantience. He was fairly sure it would take more than a casual meeting for Osias to count him as a friend.

She shook her head at his question, she'd never seen any other lands and she didn't understand why that seemed strange to him. She knew others that lived her came and went but she'd always thought that that was due to choice, not necessity. She was actually quite sheltered really, for any region, not just her own. Nope, I've never left... I've wanted to see other places... but I like it here.
As he described the one whom he'd met he held her entire focus. If it was him she'd definitely want to know because she definitely wanted to see him again. And if he was here, especially around this area, he was certainly here for her, wasn't he? Did you say Osias? Could you, take me to where he was? She was trying very hard to quell her excitement, but it came through a bit in her voice.
