(( i -do- have Kitty's permission for this, though i can't guarantee i got all of Tavor's reactions right. ^^;;;; i hope i did them okay. This was just a random idea i had that seemed to fit just a little bit too well. >>;;;; Again, this is rated M for Mature.... there is lots of not happy in it. ))
“You don’t own me!” his voice cracked with his rage, and the yellow hybrid cursed out loud in response. He sounded like he still needed to his puberty, but he had done that long ago.
“I just want wot’s best for you,” the other man retorted, and Se stared up at the tall, green-haired man with absolute hatred. Shinrai softened his voice, trying to reach his youngest son. “I know you don’t like it, but it might be the best way to help you—“
“You don’t care!” Se shouted back in rage, watching as grey-green eyes widened in disbelief. The shock did not last long, however, and swiftly his father’s gaze narrowed sharply upon him.
“Perseus, you will not—“
“Don’t call me that,” Se snarled, and there was something dangerous on the teenager’s strange, pupilless eyes.
Rai drew himself up, staring down at Se in silent contemplation at the quandary the boy poised.
Se bared his teeth, feeling the overwhelming rage washing over him again. “You killed everyone,” he said in a low, almost gentle tone, as he stared up at the man who helped create him. “And I’m going to kill you.”
Confusion and anger danced through his father’s eyes and Rai opened his mouth to deny it, but Se refused to hear anymore lies that day. He whirled neatly on purple hooves and was gone.
Rai watched his youngest child flee from him and he slammed a fist into the wall beside him. “*#$& it!”
It was dark and quiet in the park at night. Tavor knew instinctively that it wasn’t actually wise for him to wander alone there, but it was one of the few times he could be free from the hatred of his fellow Cards. He had a doomed existence, he knew, but at least sometimes he could escape for just a little while. No one was around now, and he was safe.
Se’s paws thumped the ground and his hind hooves clacked loudly against the pavement as he strove to lose the demons that rode him. He tightened his wings to his sides, clamping them like the legs of his riders, and let the pressure drive him onward, faster and faster. He was not like his father! He would not be! He would be himself and no one else and Light help any who thought to get in his way.
The winged hybrid wasn’t paying attention to where he was going; he rarely did anymore. Ira would eventually find him and bring him home. That’s wot Ira did. The little scumbag. Ira was a traitor. Se knew he was a traitor. But the hybrid needed the stability the equine offered more than he needed allegiance.
He pounded onward, fighting against himself, fighting against his fears, and fighting against the knowledge that he was slowly becoming more and more like his *$ed up father.
Tavor wandered past two trees that bent lightly towards each other, as though craving the touch of another’s leaves. He paused to ponder the sight, to wonder wot that might mean to him, to the world in general when there was a sound coming towards him. His head shot up in a near panic and his feathered wings fanned slightly as though to hide him from view. It sounded like. . . people running? The footsteps were mix-matched and then they hit the grass, muting the sound and making it even more difficult to tell exactly wot was rushing his way. He looked around frantically for a hiding spot and that’s when something collided with him.
Tavor couldn’t quite stop the soft cry of shock and pain when someone large and powerful slammed into him and their bodies rolled together. Their momentum slowed and Tavor lifted his head as he suppressed a groan. Gads, that hurt! Wot on earth—
His thoughts stuttered to halt as he suddenly recognized who had just run into him: one of the three boys who had tormented him so long ago. Panic threatened to set in, but it never had a chance to take hold of his adrenaline.
The yellow equine hybrid kissed him.
He didn’t know wot came over him. He only vaguely recognized the rat hybrid, but he knew it was part Lowlander and he just had to do something. A blow against his father. Something awful.
So he kissed the rat and the rat didn’t seem to know to fight him, not yet. Se wouldn’t be his father. He wouldn’t. He pushed the kiss, forcing the rat to open his mouth and accept his tongue. He was probing, forceful and he refused to be denied. Se pushed the rat to the ground with an insistent paw and the rat obeyed, but a tension had entered the other’s frame. Too bad.
Se broke their kiss suddenly, panting as did the rat. “Who are you?” the equine mix demanded sharply. “What are you?”
Tavor wasn’t sure wot to do, how to react. The boy was hard and there was a neediness to the kiss and to the actions, but when the other hybrid pushed him down, he had a sinking feeling he knew where this would go.
“I’m… Tavor.” His voice only wavered slightly. “I’m a Lowland and Sorgaire Range mix.” Strange, pupilless green eyes bore into him, and the rat wasn’t sure if that was the right answer, but a small smile curled the other boy’s lip.
“Perfect,” his captor replied, then kissed him again.
