Nothing in the world could've gotten Nadja to start up a fight with her brother just then. Everything was too nice and she was simply too content to be argumentative about anything.
"Fresh lavender is lovely...but --" The leveret trailed off as her brother placed the flower against her ear, bringing a lovely smile to her features. He really was the best brother in the whole world! Shifting so that she could sit and nuzzle up beside him, Nadja let out a happy sigh. "But you're right... It's been far too long since we got a chance to just sit and watch the sun set together, let alone one this pretty."
Times like these were absolutely the best.
Nadja didn't mind life in the warren as much as Heike, but she truly missed days like these when she could just sit back and spend time with Heike. Just getting to sit and smell the flowers was wonderful.
