Well, um. I'm officially posting a Hiatus. Because I've been beaten with the customer service stick and they're running me into the ground. Plus my mother is finally home so if I get more than an hour of alone time I plan on spending it with her.
So if I'm painfully slow on replying for oh... a good majority of the remainder of the summer you can understand why. At least I get a break for Otakon--if my job likes it or not.
Well I thought I would use this thread since life is punching me in the face again. For the next two or so weeks I will be amazingly slow at posting much of anything. You see.... the Bishen Realm Halloween contest is going on and I... can't not enter. Of course, I also have midterms around the corner, a series of paintings due AND I broke out in hives this morning because someone left oil paint on a table and I put my hand in it. I am also coming down with something and the kitchen in the dorms is closed. I... think I may explode.
So the point of this is I will be slow. So please don't kill me if I don't reply right away.
.... and I need to squee about something. *squee* I saw Peaches today. X3 she's such a cute kitty. Also. My mother can now officially walk a decent amount of feet without her walker. Some parts of my life are awesome.
So uh. Life decided to kick me a bit harder than I thought it would.
Normally after midterms things lull out. However my professors this semester (I'm sorry, PROFESSOR. One woman is trying to kill me) decided that murder was the right thing to do. I now have a week to copy a master painting. I also have to copy a master drawing and superimpose a skeleton in it. It's "an experiment" in her words.
And I have homework from all my other classes, nano is coming up, volunteered for stuff on Halloween, I might be getting physically dragged out to drink on my birthday ( ;_; do not want) and I have boat load of other things to add to my stress. I am falling apart at the seems. It may not seem like a lot to everyone else because I'm "just an art major" but it is to me.
So please understand I can't post like I want to. I am irritated that I'm going to have to spend so much time on one hideous painting copying someone else's work because of my professors whims I really don't think I can manage quality posts.

So my manager decided to cram almost 30 hours of work in a span of four days because he likes me. Of course, then he decided to have me work night shift, morning shift, and night shift for three of those days, and then I have to pack for college/cram doctor appointments/get hair extensions redone before Saturday. Then I drive six hours back to college.
So if I'm on the board and don't post it's because I'm an incoherent mess. >_>;

 Just an art major? *snorts* You aren't just an art major; you are an artist, Kari. You certainly have a lot on your plate for any person. It's no wonder that you have less time to commit to making quality posts. Something's gotta give. You should take as much time as you need. There's no rush.
