One hoof began to tap on the floor and he stared at his Mommy dearest for several long moments then trotted over to plot down on the floor next to Rai's feet. He leaned his head on Mommy dear's knee and felt the man tense up suddenly, though the Queen certainly would not show his unease. He was the Queen who could handle anything, deal with anything. No, he wouldn't show his discomfort, but if he had any authority at all he would deal with this situation.

Despite not actually thinking about it on a conscious level, Ira was constantly testing his parent, always pushing and forcing the man to adapt himself or force those around him to change. Shinrai was getting lost in the paperwork of the Court and Ira refused for his Mommy darling to become so paper drone. No, he would force the man to stand up and find himself again.

Today, Ira would not be disappointed.

"Gentlemen and ladies, may I introduce my eldest son Iraishin." The stallion gestured for the younger man to rise and, after a moment, Ira did so. There was a slight gasp from a few of the members around the table as though they hadn't expected the dress-wearing figure to actually be male. "He has just returned from a journey and I'm certain that he's tired and would like to retire. The stallion leveled a flat glare at his son.

"You will go to your chambers, your Highness," Rai gave tacit approval to his sons desire to join the Court. "And I will speak with you this evening over dinner." That said, Rai turned his attention from the younger man and obviously dismissed him.

Ira gave another large grin and dropped into a deep curtsy and trotted out of the room.

"Now," the stallion said. "Where were we?"
