Donnie: Melody, rhythm/lyrics/harmony. It's... very hard for me to decide between them, but my favorite thing about a good piece is usually the melody. As to the lyrics question, having a good singer is crucial. It's like a comparison between my mother, who is /stellar/, and my sister, who is good enough. Mom's voice is enough to bring tears to your eyes, whatever she's singing. Good lyrics are fun, but poor singing is agonizing.

Rosie O'Donnel or Shia Labeouf?

Donnie: Blech. That's really not much of a choice, now is it? I suppose I would take the fat, angry cow, just because I would hate myself less in the morning.
