ID: SD219 Name: Acantha Suit: Spades Rank: Ten Gender: Female Animal: Feline Region: Highlands Dealer: Kasatsu Parents: Eilwyn x Elyse Notes: She was affected by the glass rose in an incredible way, sporting glass wings that do not allow her flight, spikes, and a fragile, paper-thin, rose-like growth on her tail tip. She also wears what looks like an elaborate glass mask, though it actually grows out of her skull. The thin rings that dangle from it make a pleasant ringing and chiming noise when she walks. Basic Magical Ability: She can run up to 20mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs. Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she can see black-and-white clearly in the dark. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Should she look at a moderate to bright light with this ability activated, however, she will experience intense pain and be left with a splitting headache for up to one day. Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can create up to two gallons of drinking water up to two times per day. Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can call forth and dismiss a small familiar that is unique to the individual.

Spades: The Paw Spades are the second most common Suit, though unlike Clubs they can only occur in a breeding if one of the parents is a Spade. Spades are quick on their feet and reliable as far as their representation in Court proceedings and their tendency to follow the rules laid out for them. Spades are still not seen as being what one would desire in society; though they are above the Clubs, they are still of the same color and are often mocked by others of higher ranking. Higher up Spades, mostly face cards, are treated with the same respect that anyone would give to a ruler, and aren't frowned upon in the other Courts because of their noble rank.
Their representation, the Paw, refers to both their fleetness of foot and their general personality. They tend to be "soft" in their punishments and treatments of the lower class. They are therefore represented with that symbol, as opposed to one more closely representing weaponry.
Basic Magical Ability: All Spades can run up to 40mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs, depending on their individual staying power.
Ten: Tens are the bottom of the "upper class", not a bad thing when society idolizes the rich and powerful; once you hit Ten, however, the thought is always that life could be better. The face cards look down upon Tens for not being high enough to enter the true nobility and the lower numbers snub them for having more magical ability and Court status than they do. Though they are still mostly accepted by the lower numbers, the face cards tend to treat Tens as personal servants, which can feel demeaning. Tens desire nothing more than to move up into the actual world of the upper crust.
Felines: Felines are a common breed. They are found everywhere you look and their lifestyles make it easy for them to stretch themselves to the furthest reaches of the kingdoms. Not to be confused with the Court of Cats (who are the size of a house cat), the Felines of the realm are about the size of tigers and range from sleek Siamese to bulky alley cats in shape.
Highlands: Residents are usually white with swirls of gold and red slash-like markings.
Many consider the Highlands to be the most beautiful lands in the world to date. Lush, rolling meadows, rich fields, thin stretches of forest, and quaint brooks make the Highlands one of the most respected and idolized realms in which to work and trade. The residents of the Highlands tend to hold themselves in equally high regard and they are often respected, no matter the rank, if that is where they hail from. It is rumored that those from the Highlands are destined for greatness, and they are often groomed from birth to think so. The Highlands actually border the Courts and even overlap a bit into the Court of Hearts.
