So some of this stuff I can answer, mostly things about the Hearts and Clubs. Some of it I can't, so Nat may need to jump in if she feels like it or just leave you guys in the dark if she doesn't. And some of it we may not be willing to answer. But I've had some people poke me curiously about the history of some of the Courts before their current rulers, and I figure it's only fair to offer people a question and answer session. So.
Give me your odd questions. Why was Fino's mother's perfume addictive? Just who made Anoushka start hating birds? Why have Highlanders been in control of the Hearts for centuries? All of these I can answer. XD If you are curious and but ask.
Of course, some stuff is still off limits. *wink* But I figured I'd give the okay to the curious of you who have poked me about the past.

So... does Bernard drink tea a lot like Fino does? (It's hard to imagine drinking the amount of tea Fino does, but I have to.)

Oh dear. Vyn's head is stuffed with questions always. For now, however, the top most things would be:
Why was Fino's mother's perfume addictive?
And, from the Mouth of a very Curious Hatter, what sort of terrible secrets would you know of in the Court of Diamonds? Or, honestly, any other Court? I've gleaned a few from the Hearts already...but there's got to be some dirty laundry in the other Courts as well. XD
Another from Hatter! How many Jokers were aligned to the Courts in the past, if any, and if there were, which Courts?

Kari: Bernard drinks a lot of tea only because Fino drinks a lot of tea and brings it to him. With, uh, vodka to spike it. Heh.
Shini: Anoushka hates birds because one of them married her under false pretenses. Very, very false pretenses. And she learned her lesson. F'serious.
Vyn: Fino's mother's perfume was actually an oil that she put in all of her baths and, though she didn't know it, made out of a toxic flower from the Yarrow Gardens. You'll remember their toxins? <3 Her mother used it, and used to bathe her in it, and neither of them realized it was addictive. And so Fino is mildly addicted as well, as is Bernard. XD Just not as badly as the two of them were. Regina's (Fino's grandmother's) 'the' King was a Yarrow serpent and got her hooked, thinking it was both funny and made her smell good.
As far as Diamonds, I'm not sharing any of that since I don't have as much a hand there, but Nat can if she feels like. If you want specific dirty laundry, you should poke more specifically. <3 I'm not giving you anything so vague. Heh.
I'm not sure of the numbers of Jokers in the past, but I can tell you for sure that at least one Joker worked for Queen Regina and vanished from the Court of Hearts after she died to places 'unknown'. *snerk*

Satra: XD It helps that they're pretty much /in/ the Highlands, and that Highlanders are such fusking snobs and proud of themselves. In the past something like three hundred years, almost all of the 'the' Queens have been Highlanders with the three-year exception of Zulaya right before Fino when she usurped power from his mother and he usurped it back. His mom Lin, her mom Regina, and the man Regina killed to get in power, and so on, were all Highlanders. Yay for Influence from the local peoples, eh?
As for the lamp, it reminds him of Lin.

Heilyn is very sad that she is now immune to alcohol. She would like to be able to drink like a fish again and make it affect her. Can this happen, or will she have to switch to tea?
Also, have any of the other Courts have the same lineage like the Hearts court?
Also, speaking of alcohol, what about Bernard? @w@
