Satra: Bernard likes alcohol in small doses...unless it's blended with other things.
He's one of those guys that the other dudes would make fun of because he'd ordered a martini TT___TT
He likes to spike his tea and coffee because it helps him wake up XD
I'm willing to answer more Bernard questions! This is fun! Anyone got any? I'll do any of my other characters too. <3

Other than Serafino (and now Rosemary and Thyme as well) are there any other cases of cards possessing summoned weapons? If so, what suits were they?

Yup, Blaine could summon a halberd and Serafino's grandmother could summon something...Jenn?
Natural summons are usually only gotten by Hearts as a Kings ability though <3
Bernard was so disappointed that he couldn't do it...it was one of the reasons that Marie fascinated him so much <3

Serafino's grandmother Regina could summon a long-bladed dagger. <3 She'd worked it up to the point of its having a blade that naturally excreted venom. Lemme tell you though, that one took her a lot of time. XD Kind of like Fino getting Marie to her halfway point, an intelligent weapon.

How often does it occur that a card will align themselves somehow to a Court of another suit? I've been wonderign this for some time XD

It is incredibly rare, but it does occur, they an just never be "officially" titled in that Court, only their own X3

It's very unusual for the palace of a Suit to employ individuals outside of their Suit except on a temporary basis, should some particular specialty be needed for a particular job. It's a matter of pride and propriety and tradition in most cases. Seeing Cards of other Suits in a palace is one thing, since they could be there for any variety of political or professional reasons, but having one live there or work there on a permanent basis is highly unorthodox and often frowned upon.

So, I had a question about everyone's favorite OTP: Berestes. How did they meet? How did Varestes fall in love/obsession with Bernard? Was it first sight or after some interaction?

Kitty: Yes, there have been three. The war of the first wall, which took place over five hundred years ago, was a war purely between Suits and is told to people in the way one would tell the story of King Arthur; as a myth, but with hints of truth. The Red Suits banded together and fought the Spades and Clubs, there was no warning and the Red Suits swarmed their palaces and took over completely, this was before Rabbits ostracized themselves from Card society, and they had been persuaded to fight with the Hearts and Diamonds. It is said that the Queen of Hearts rode into battle with the White Rabbit himself by her side. For one hundred years following that battle, the lands were ruled only by Hearts and Diamonds, a great wall being built around the old Club and Spade Courts to keep people from entering. This was until a rebellion sprang up when the Heart Queens killed each other and the Spades and Clubs managed to win their Courts back with the help of two Jokers, though very few people believe the Rabbit and Joker parts of the stories now. The wall was then torn down and the Courts resumed as they had been in the past. The war of the second wall took place two hundred years ago and the result was what would one day become the Reamblen Bog. People had grown overly fearful of the Tulgey Wood and two very powerful Heart Queens (An Ermine and a Salamander, they are told in many stories as mates, but others detail them as siblings) had risen within its borders. They had proclaimed themselves to be rulers over the power of those within the Courts and had challenged the four Suit Queens. The Diamonds and Clubs refused but the Spades and Hearts Queens accepted. They were all slaughtered brutally and their bodies skinned and hung on the Tulgey border. These Queens began to move out of the Tulgey, enforcing any and all Cards to either recognize them as the supreme rulers or die. They were finally brought down when the Club and Diamond Queens banded the remaining Cards together and infused their power against the Tulgey, wiping out most of the natives of that realm and the two Queens. Most of their followers afterward claimed to have been pressured into it and were released but it was fifty years before anyone of the Tulgey dared show their faces in Card society again. Once they did, people were afraid of them, not thinking that creatures of Suit could come from that realm any longer. The third was the Bog war which is described by Satra in her post on the Bog's creation here --------> decadentsuits.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=generalarchives&action=display&thread=851&page=3~Nathalia
