Sighing softly, she knew it would be hard to explain. She loved Syraelia, she really did, but... they were becomming two different people now. She would probably think it was her fault if Astyana came to her and said she finally realized that life could be very ugly, not beautiful like Syraelia had promsied her. She just couldn't see the bright side of everything, the way Syraelia had tried to make it when she was younger. It was wearing off, and she needed someone with a clear, honest view of things to help her understand the things she was still struggling with. She needed honesty, not to hear what she wanted.
"We're becomming very different... you've met her, I'm sure you understand what I mean. She can see some good in everything it seems, but I cannot. Her view of the world is tainted by her own will to live and be happy within it, things aren't as beautiful as she once told me..." Her voice was soft, as if had she said the words too loud they might have broken. While talking to Igal she realized that just talking made her feel better. Not talking about her issues really, just some surface stuff, it took her mind off of everything. Maybe she was just lonely?
"Oh." The comment was a little cheerier, knowing that she hadn't been the source of his discomfort. Well, she had, but his words had easily convinced her otherwise. She could be a little oblivious at times, her mind was really too innocent to look deeper into such things, though it was a little warped by the thoughts that flowed through as she turned to glance at what he had been so distracted by... "OH..." She blushed bright enough to drown out the burgundy hue of her fur and replace it with a glowing cherry flush. Clearing her throat she tried hard not to laugh a little. Not at him, really, but at the situation in general. For one so innocent, it could be admitted that she'd had... romantic thoughts on more than one occasion.
