Notes: He was born with the very odd mutation of arms growing out of his shoulder blades. They are fully functional and have fingers like any normal Biped. For some strange reason, his colors have inverted. His parents may think that it is simply an odd mix of Bog and albinism... until they see him in a mirror or photograph. His reflection shows him as he truly is, black and purple like any other Torquehelm. His bindings are thin manacles.
Notes: Xander willingly took off his bindings.... and gave them to his brother Othello.
Notes: One of Xander's eyes is inverted.
Basic Magical Ability: He can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to twenty minutes.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can inflict mental pain on another card of the Heart suit, once per day. The degree of pain is akin to that of the victim’s hind legs being slowly hoisted over their shoulders at an awkward angle, whether or not they actually have hind legs. This causes most victims to fall over and/or become severely unbalanced over the course of the twenty minutes that the caster is able to hold this spell.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to one hour, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control is nearly perfect with the exception of the fact that whenever he tries to control someone, their colors invert.
Jack’s Ability: He is immune to any and all poisons, with the exception of coffee, which to him is like a thick, glutinous poison that causes his throat to close. More than one standard-sized cup will kill him.
King's Ability: Once a month he is able to make another person within ten feet of him develop an odd and utterly desperate craving for fish. Right. Now. If this craving is not satisfied within five minutes of the spell being cast, the victim will notice that their feet are starting to hurt. Five minutes after that they will develop an odd form of filmy flippers instead of feet with silvery fish scales. This mutation will remain for a full hour before vanishing. If they can get to the fish to fulfill the craving, the mutation will not occur. Though their sudden mad dash for fish is probably amusing.
Reflection: Xander may notice now that his reflection twitches and fades a bit at the edges when he looks at it.
Every time that he falls asleep, from now on, his reflection will slowly crawl out of the nearest reflective surface (think Samara from "The Ring").
His reflection looks properly inverted, a nice little Torque with glowing sky blue eyes that look blind and dead.
It slinks and drags itself everywhere on its belly and walks with a gait that suggests it suffered a horrific injury in the past. Its fur looks soaked and it leaves little pools of water wherever it goes...this water is mildly toxic and causes extreme bouts of nausea for up to a day if drunk.
The smell the creature gives off is like that of something left too long to rot underwater and it hisses and gasps pathetically as it moves.
The instant Xander wakes up again, it vanishes...but until he does...it has the entire world to stalk...
It would very much like t find a way to make him sleep forever...but it has to be careful, if Xander dies, so does his reflection...
