Both nice and obscure to the end. Helen reminded Parzi of one or two of his master's associates now, but at the same time... he'd never met anyone quite like her before. It was disappointing that had to tend to Master Vren now rather than later. She would probably be gone by then. At least he would have the pair of feather to remember her by and a story to tell his siblings.
"Thanks, and good luck. I hope your destiny doesn't lead you anywhere you don't want to go." He was surprised by the affectionate gesture, but incredibly touched. Only his siblings and very rarely his master were so forward and tactile towards him. Nobody else had an interest or a reason...
"You're a really different kind of person," he told her with a small smile. "I won't let go of my dream. Maybe next time I meet you, things will have changed for the better."
