Kelasia bit her lip again. She couldn't make herself delay Theofilus; not just because she liked to look at him. Though, a deep, darker part of herself argued. If he extended his time here, they were more likely to see him a few times. She shook her head slightly, then realized she'd actually shaken her head in a 'no' like fashion and he might read into it.
"I-i-i d-don't want t-to delay you," she finally stuttered out. "But it may be another... two...days?" It came as a question because she was trying to feel out his agenda without outright asking it. If he thought two days was too long, she would stay up all night tonight to make it one day. But she would work better if she didn't have to do that. Pale eyes strayed towards the bird again. She was taking quite a few more surreptitious glances than she usually did; though she had every right to with how good he looked. She couldn't get over it. No, she didn't want to get over it. Or him. She bit her lip again, the half-formed thought of bettering herself lingering through the back of her mind again.

"I can stay as long as you need me," Theofilus said clearly. She still hadn't fixed the stutter then? Oh, well. She must haven't stuttered around Rogers or her probably would have helped her gain a bit more confidence.
He started to move to the study with papers in hand. If he had all of the proper papers or not, it hardly mattered. The sparrow slipped in, waiting for the skunk to follow him. Rogers would get the usual and they would sit down and discuss details. It would be simple. "Nothing is more important than straightening these accounts out. I don't want you to stress yourself out either. You burning out would be bad."
That girl stressed entirely too much. He didn't want to over work her, after all, Rogers said she was a fantastic person to have around. He was more than happy to raise her wages (which rarely happened when it came to Rogers.)The least Theofilus could do was let her take a break from long nights.

Kelasia only hesitated a moment before following, though her eyes moved without her control, focusing on Theo's tail as he moved ahead of her. The female quickly sent her eyes to the floor as she stepped into the room, mentally berating herself, and biting her lip uneasily. It was such a nice view she didn’t want to look away; but she couldn’t handle Theofilus realizing her crush. Not like this. She would have to find some way to impress him. But how?
Theofilus knew her very well already, and she gave a slow nod to show that she understood he didn't want her pushing herself. As long as Theo was alright staying those extra days, she wouldn't burn herself out. On purpose. She couldn't guarantee that she wouldn't push herself to get through the accounts, but by now she understood just how important it was that she not make mistakes with their paperwork. Each document was very important and, at times, it could mean a great deal of money.

Theofilus smiled as he cleared off the table and tidily stacked the extraneous papers and office supplies. It was going to be such an awkward lunch, but Theofilus didn't care. At least it would be a lunch with people he knew, and people he didn't have to impressive for business purposes.
He wondered though what Kel would do now that he had a biped form. Would she always act like this, or would she try to get her own? He knew exactly what Rogers was going to do. Wolf whistles and cat calls were in his future when the canine got more comfortable.
He set up the stools nonchalantly for the participations of the lunch. His smile never really faded, no matter how awkward it was going to get. For some reason this just made him happy. The sparrow sat down and set some papers in the center of the table flipping through them a bit. He watched the skunk join him, however slowly. And of course the Canine finally walked in with their usual meal, a smile plastered on his face....
Business was wonderful.
