Bone Coronet: This delicate looking mesh of silver chain link and bone is set onto a circlet of pewter and mounted with the front part of a skull. Three sapphires are fixed into pivotal positions and the chain link drapes in three separate sheets down the back to the shoulder. The skull is severed directly above the eye sockets and down across the nose bone to accommodate various face and muzzle types, when the coronet is set onto an SD’s face, it settles down over their own eyes like an exceptionally creepy and elegant half-mask.
Once placed on the SD will feel an odd tingling sensation and a low buzzing and humming will fill their ears, blocking out all other sound for a full ten minutes. After this has happened a very low, rumbling voice will be heard resonating through their skull.

The voice will fade and will not come again (unless a significant amount of points is poured into this object), but the SD will find themselves falling unconscious. They will then be surprised to find themselves standing over their own body, and able to move about five miles from it in any direction as a spirit. This will last for a full ten hours and in this time, they are able to: communicate with other spirits, travel through walls, and listen in on conversations unheard. They can only see and communicate with spirits while in spirit form, otherwise they are oblivious to them. During this time the SD is virtually dead, thus this ability takes a toll on their body. If this object is used more than 15 times they will die instantly. Their body is also vulnerable and if harmed or destroyed, they will not be able to return to it, so they need to make sure to hide it well before sinking into the trance that they are now instinctively aware of, to walk the earth as the dead.
This power allows her also to communicate with past parts of those who have been reincarnated, though that is such a rare event as to not be of much notice. To this SD while in spirit form, a reincarnated person will look like the SD it currently is, but with a hunched up spirit riding its back. Normally the eyes will be closed and it will appear unconscious...unless awakened...
