Sorry Vyn! x.x I just don't have young Pravus muse anymore ;3 but at least I netted us closing points? XD Following this RPA still form blinked rapidly in and out of sight in an alley just off the main shoppe road. Pieces of glaringly white fur peeked out from crimson blood that lay in a pool around the body. Finally, the body held opacity and stopped blinking in it's odd transparent way. If anyone was brave enough to see what the hump covered in blood was it would be obvious as a highland native, a small male cat. His breathing was so ragged and shallow that it was hardly noticeable and an angry glint of silver protruded from his ribs. Several large gashes graced his body in angry looking swipes and blood continued to still slowly trickle, though most by now was on the ground. Splatter was here and there all over the alley as testament to the fight the little one had put up against whatever it had been that had done this to him. He didn't move. . .

Walking through the city streets on her way back to an old friend's shop, Ophelia passed by a small store that's unusual merchandise held her frozen in memories. She'd met Pravus just outside of here, just long enough ago to make her miss the little feline. A faint smiled traced upon her lips, and the now mother glanced down at the little form accompanying her. Seki stood at her side with big green eyes and a small smile, looking slightly confused as to why his mother had stopped here. He knew they were heading off to pick up supplies after their short trip into Ashwin's to pick up his new bander Mocha, but she wasn't going in...just window shopping (which wasn't like Ophelia at all). About to pipe up a question about this very matter, they were both frozen in their thoughts as a very angry looking shopkeeper appeared in a huffing flurry and vanished just as huffily into his shop. The two said not a word, but Seki knew what his mother was staring at in such shocked surprise: blood. The man had been covered in blood. "Dad?" The bipedal Corvistownian was blinking in blatant surprise, and her face was sketched in dreadful thoughts. Something about his bloodstained appearance tugged at her and for a moment her heart was stammering, aching. Was it the lingering thoughts of Pravus mixed with the sight of blood? Or something more? Thoughtless of her actions, she moved and beckoned Seki to follow with Mocha. At first her steps were even, walking albeit a bit quickly, but it didn't take long for her to break into a run. Something had happened, something had happened to... Pravus. She had rounded a corner, had been about to run clear by...but the smell of blood and a flash of white held her. Oh lord... It really was Pravus. Without hesitation she rushed straight into the alley while Seki lingered at the entrance and made sure his bander would not get close enough to the bloodied feline to get excited or aggressive. Something awful had happened and apparently Ophelia knew the poor bloke it had happened to. Ophelia crouched down beside Pravus, reaching out gingerly to touch his pulse as she waited desperately for a sign of pulse to reassure her silent terror. This was going to be a long night.

At the outer edges of his consciousness Pravus vaguely felt a presence. His eyes fluttered open for a second in fear, worrying that whatever had made the shoppe keep leave had not kept him away. A sense of relief flooded Pravus as he saw a familiar black and green form. "Oph . . ."
His eyes shut again and Pravus was lost to the conscious world once again. The knife still stuck up between his ribs and the large gashes across his shoulder, leg and nose, as well as the puncture through his paw were bleeding heavily. Much to fast to be good for him.

Seki shifted anxiously where he stood, brilliant green eyes wide with concern although he said not a word. Luckily he had his bander to distract him from all the blood of the apparently dying feline, but his father obviously wasn't as lucky in this situation. He could see her distress in the tension coursing through her lean body, her shoulders hunched as she hurriedly dug through her traveling bag.
He knew she was searching for the small first aide kit she kept with her, full of not only basic medical supplies but some of her own concoctions. Thoughtlessly, the kitten leaned forward in order to study Ophelia's actions. Blocking the victim she was aiding from his mind, he just watched his father's hands. She was pulling stuff out now. A small box, vials of all sizes and colors...
"Seki..." She muttered, eyes never leaving Pravus. "Stay close and don't stray, darling. We don't want to risk being seen right now."
Seki nodded his head loyally, dragging his Bander in with him before the kitten and his sturdy companion came to a stop behind the Corvistownian.
Ophelia's hand were moving without her conscious thought, here yes glued to Pravus and nothing else. Vials were bidden from the bag by memory, not sight. First things first. A rag was produced from the bag and, from the air, she pulled enough water to dampen the rag and used just enough more to cleanse some of the blood gushing around her friend...and then she went to work. The most serious wounds were attended first and this, of course, was the knife sticking between his ribs.
She pulled it free with deft but tender actions, pressed the rag into its place and grasped a gray vial with her free hand. She uncorked the vial with one hand, allowing the cork to fall carelessly aside before applying the contents of the gray vial. It came out as liquid, but the moment it touched his skin it began to congeal. It coated the wound, instantly beginning to stopper the wound.
She repeated this over again. Rinse, pressure and then the strange substance from the gray bottle. Over and over again until her temporary patches covered the worst of his wounds. They wouldn't save him from any scars, not even from the majority of the pain -numbing agents would be added once she had them in a cleaner and more sterile location-, but they would save his life for now.
"Pravus... Pravus... Can you hear me? I need to know where I can take you. Please, Pravus... I need you to hear me."
Those stoppers wouldn't hold long with the severity of his wounds. They were temporary, emergency concoctions that were, to Ophelia's unimaginable relief, currently doing their job but she'd never tested them on such a situation. She had only chance to rely on that they would grant her enough time to get him to a safe place to begin proper work.

The staunching of blood was probably just in time as Pravus was so weak he was unconscious for most of Ophelia's ministrations. As she wrenched the knife from his ribs however he woke enough to scream raggedly before falling back into his blissful unaware state.
"Pravus... Pravus..." His name bounced around inside his skull. "I need you to hear me." The sound of his friend coaxed him into the pain that was reality. His eyes blinking rapidly, awake. . not there. . . awake.
"Above. . the music store" Was all he could say, gritting his teeth. His breathing began to pick up and get almost panicky, forcing his blood to flow faster. It hurt . . . it hurt so bad. And then everything was dark again.

Ophelia thanked whatever higher power had allowed Pravus to hear her and Pravus himself as well. The boy was strong, but that momentary surge of panic nearly tore her heart from her chest. Next time he breached consciousness enough for them to communicate, she'd force him to use his basic heart ability to temporarily ease the pain along the way. Until then, however...she'd have to hurry.
If not for Seki, she would've sprinted the whole way.
Instead she carefully lifted her friend into her arms, cradling him close as Seki nudged her bag over his head and hurried obediently to her side. Ophelia was lucky to have the well behaved boy with her instead of one of her more troublesome offspring.
"Hurry, Seki... Hurry."
The boy didn't need exercise, didn't need to be sprinting on an empty stomach, but neither of them had a choice.
For the burden Ophelia was carrying and for the fact that she was accompanied by an underweight child and a bander, Ophelia made it to the music shop in record time. Her heart was pounding but relief was surging through her. Just a little further. She could hear Seki panting and Mocha whuffling, but she couldn't slow down.
Up the stairs she went and, at last, the door came into sight. It was then that she realized the door was shut and her arms were full of Pravus's limp form but before she could part her lips she heard a little voice from a step or so behind her cry out knowingly.
"Mocha, tackle the door!"
The bander gave something of an insulted snort, but she bounced up the stairs and whomp! hit the door hard with her shoulder and side. The impact made the bander grunt and the door shake a little, but the resounding thump would definitely be heard if anyone was home.

Lleurela squeaked as her door rattled, nearly coming off it's hinges. Frightened she stood back for a second before rushing to the door to see what had happened. She opened the door to something. . . so horrible. . . She backed out of the doorway quickly, crying, and ushered everyone in. "Oh no.. . Pr. . .Pravus. Oh no. . ." She sobbed, wanting to throw herself over the young cats form, to comfort him. But whoever this stranger was , she obviously was helping him, and she shouldn't get in the way. She sat slowly in against the wall watching everything somewhat distantly, tears streaming down her face. Pravus was out, completely. The darkness in his head all he could feel and see. He had to wake up. . .had to wake up. . . had to wake up. . but the calming darkness pesisted.

Ophelia sighed with relief once the door was flung open, and a weak smile barely touched her lips. She couldn't talk, couldn't think of what to say to the woman who was obviously Pravus's guardian. She needed space, somewhere open and clean where she could properly work on Pravus. He would live...he would live but it probably wouldn't be all too pretty. Still, he was a handsome youth, that would likely overcome the scars regardless and, of course, with time some of those would fade.
"Bathroom... I need a bathroom, somewhere to work."
Why oh why couldn't she drag her entire lab with her?! It would've been so much more useful than a simple bathroom! As she stood and anxiously awaited her answer, she spoke low to Pravus.
"Stay asleep, Pravus..." She could see him struggling to wake. "It's better there for now."
Meanwhile, Seki and Mocha stepped cautiously inside in Ophelia's wake and the young kitten watched his Father anxiously continue her attempts to rescue the wounded Highlander. There was little he could say at the time being, but his worry was evident as he huddled near to his Bander.
