Making her way quickly down the streets she clutched a book to her chest. Earlier that day she had been cleaning out one of the many storage rooms at the local library she worked at part time, she had discovered the dusty covered book when it literally fell on her. Flipping through a few pages it had not taken her long to discover that this was a book that Shinoj would more than be interested in. Thus the later evening found her making her way to his apartment. She had not bothered to check the book out; if it had been in that storage room so long she sincerely doubted that anyone was going to remember that it even existed. Shin had mentioned to her more then once how he was wanting to go off and explore the worlds, draw maps of the different lands, and learn about the different people of the realms. This book was sure to strike his interest.

The writing utensil grazes across the canvas, leaving behind streaks in the shape of boxes and circles, triangles and squiggles. Various shapes appear on the canvas, forming a sort of unity as they manifest into a recognizable image. One quick look taken of this image by any resident of Esterberry would insight the viewer with a bird's eye view of their civic region. The mustelid sighs as he places down his tool of the trade, sliding it into a shallow indent at the front of his work desk. His eyes, a soft prussian blue, glance at the drawing. Entertained by the effort he had placed in it, his mouth curls up into a gentle smile before his attention is taken by the last edge of light curling over the horizon outside. "Oh, dear." His voice is nothing more than a whisper under his breath. "Where has the time gone? Is it evening already?"

Making her way up to his apartment she gave a small tap on the door before letting herself in. It was often times that he was working on some map or book and so she had gotten into the habit of letting herself in – otherwise she would be standing outside all night waiting for the knocking sound to break his concentration.
She made her way easily through his lodgings. It was in it’s usual tidy state, books shrew here and there, open to various pages portraying maps or information about various areas around the Realm.
“Shin? Are you here?” she called out from where she stood in the living room of sorts. If he was not the she was going to make herself some tea and await his return.
When he called back she gave a nod, making her way towards the kitchen. What the heck, why wait for the tea. She started about, preparing tea for two.

Shinoj's head pokes around the corner to see her step into the kitchen, his lips curling up as he slowly creeps along the floor, spying on the little rodent.
It is only a matter of time before he steps into the kitchen, making her aware of his location.
"Making some tea, are we? I think I would fancy a cup myself."
His azure eyes seem rather glassy, with a small tint of red where white would normally be. He seems rather passive with his every move, a sign of the resulting exhaustion he has from spending all day and night working on his maps and reading up on lore.

“Of course” She replied with a small smile as she finished up making the tea and pouring it into the two cups that were already set out.
After she was done she walked back into the main room, two cups of tea in each hand and the book she had brought him tucked under one of them. Reaching the table easily she cleared room with the use of her free elbow before setting down one of the cups, after which she proceeded to do the same for the other side, taking a seat herself.
She took a sip of her tea, enjoying the taste, before she reached over the table to hand him the book.
“I found this in one of the storage areas in the library. I was going to just put it away but on closer inspection I discovered that it might be something that would greatly interest you.”

He looks at the book, staring at it, almost mesmerized in his current state. When he snaps out of the short trance, he quickly looks over to the empty seat of the table. Scurrying over, he climbs up onto the chair and looks down into the cup, sniffing it to try and discover the flavor. "Hm... I wonder what it could be..." Without further ado, he raises the cup to his lips and takes a sip, watching her as he does so.
After a short sip, he savors the flavor before placing the cup down and looking over to the book once more. "My, how rude of me. I do apologize for my slight absent mindedness. I suppose it has been a while since I have rested for a decent amount of time."
His eyes meet hers from across the table. "That is very kind of you... I appreciate it." He proceeds to look down to the reflection of himself in the hot tea, staring at the cold tired eyes that looked right back at him. "I really should stop by there sometime, eh? It has been a long time since I have sit down and read about things. I have no idea what is going on in the world these days."
