The mouse was at a complete loss for words at his friend's reaction. He had never seen the horse act this way, ever. It was almost as if his friend was embarrassed to be there . . . or rather . . . . was he blushing? Whip never blushed.
Resisting the urge to chuckle, not sure if he was more amused or surprised by the change in his friend, he glanced over to toward the owl. His eyes finally finding him, he saw the owl having what appeared to be hysterics against the wall. "Cha . . . perhaps you should enlighten me a little?" He could not quite place what was going on so it was best to go straight to the source.
While the owl explained what was going on in whatever terms he could get out the mouse kept his eyes on the horse, watching for the horses' his response to all of it.

If Rai had his horse ears, they'd be flat and he turned towards the owl with a hard glint in his eye. It was a relief, actually, to be able to turn his back towards Aderlass for a minute and almost kindof ease whatever it was that was building so strongly in his chest now. Though he was still horribly aware of the fact that Aderlass was sitting behind him and he didn't really want his back to the mouse, he'd rather be looking at him. . . No. Nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing.
His glare at Pashca hardened as he tried very, very, very hard to not think about Ader. Sitting behind him. This bit.
He shuffled uneasily and finally gave in to the need to put his back to a wall so he could still see the mouse out of his peripheral vision. And he was so not carefully not staring at the other man. Because he wasn't staring at all. Really, he wasn't staring. Oh, Cha had better have a good answer for this.

It took the bird several obvious moments to calm down, involving deep breaths (possibly a few of which were mental breathing exercises), a snerk and finally a smoothed out smirk. "Well," He started, "You wanted to know what my watch could do. This is it." He said politely with a purposeful vague tint.
He gave it a few moments for effect - one was amused and the other was trying to glare through his love-sick haze - then smiled and explained. "It's a love spell, of sorts. Apologies Shinrai, but he told me that my quest was to explain and prove my watch's powers on someone, and you walked in. Clearly it's all his fault." The owl said with a firm nod to the horse, then turned his attention back to the mouse before he got hit or blasted or something equally as foul.
"You have an hour - well, less than that now - until it wears off. In that time he will do anything you say short of causing physical damage to himself or someone else.. but anything else is fair game. Oh, and he's completely in love with you. I find it remarkably entertaining to play with myself."

He raised an eyebrow at the owl's first explanation well that was interesting enough - though much to vague. He was about to order the owl to explain further when the bird seemed content with his dramatic paused and continued on his own.
Whip was now in love with him . . . wow . . . that was a powerful thing indeed. Before the owl explained that Rai would do anything he said he flung an arm out to stop the horse, knowing his friend enough to guesstimate a course of action he would take. "Rai, hold back." He did not want any harm coming to his adopted son, not when this was much more amusing. And it also was his fault in a round-a-bout manner. Not that he was complaining.
"You have done a wonderful job, Cha. How about you come visit me again in an hour to get your reward. It seems time is wasting." He was going to use this to as much of his advantage as he could. If Rai took it out on him later . . . well it would be worth every moment. "Oh, Cha! On your way out cancel all my appointments for about the next hour."
After the owl had left he turned his full attention to the horse.

Ader's quick order was exceedingly well-timed since the stallion had already begun a lunge, right arm pulled back to slam the owl right in the face at least once and preferably multiple times. From the explanation, Rai would like to continue this particular activity for an hour.
When the mouse told him to stop he did, face turned away towards the wall as his jaw clenched and he concentrated on just breathing in and out. He had to clench his hands, trying to make himself think clearly, though that was all but impossible since Aderlass was talking to Cha again and he felt almost compelled to listen in. His head turned slightly again so he could watch out of his peripheral vision yet again.
When the other appointments were cancelled, all he could feel was hope flaring in his chest. He was going to kill Pascha. In an hour. When the mouse turned towards him, he certainly did not tremble. At all. Really. He clenched his hands tighter to try to keep the shaking from showing. *#(%.

Pascha just grinned at Aderlass' reaction. Time's a wasting indeed! He only had what, fifty-five minutes left to torture Shinrai with? What a horrible waste those five minutes had been!
Hoshit, and Rai was lunging at him. The bird instinctively ducked down and edged along the wall, watching the horse warily, but was relieved when Aderlass stopped him before anything really began. He wanted to keep his face arranged the way it was, thank you, and wasn't this supposed to be not his fault anyways? He hadn't specifically requested his watch to have this power, but Aderlass had specifically requested to see what it was.
Therefore it was not his fault and he should not be getting hit. Either way, he would be making sure one half of the Queen pair was not in the office before he came back. Pascha didn't have a death wish.
"Yes sir, and thank you," The owl replied gleefully, ducking out of the office before anyone could think about throwing any more punches.
He then went and found a really big roll-y chair to spin around in happily. Ah, simple pleasures.

Usually the afterglow from sex left the stallion in a profoundly good mood. Today, unfortunately, was not one of those days. When he withdrew from Aderlass's room, he had a clear head, an enormous amount of anger, a vaguely aching body, and the need to kill a certain owl ASAP and a particular mouse shortly after that.
He desperately needed, however, to lock himself somewhere-- ALONE!-- and get wasted. It was that or he was going to kill himself. A shudder shot across his hide again, and he swirled his deep blue cloak around his shoulders with a snarling grimace of rage, causing everyone in the immediate vicinity to back swiftly away.
The stallion stormed from the Court of Clubs his anger apparent to anyone who bothered to look his way. His feet slammed against the ground in a manner loud enough to mimic his hooves in his other forms. He was fortunately soon gone from the premises without running into anyone that he needed to kill.

An hour later - after sending out a missive to cancel said appointments - Pascha carefully treaded his way back to Aderlass's office, and was much relieved when he didn't hear obvious sex noises or the horse in general. He had no wish to walk in on either, as amusing as the thought might be.
And to think, just a few years prior he would have gotten hit for simply snickering about such an idea. Really, his notions needed to be taken far more seriously if they were actually going to turn out right once in a while.
The owl knocked and entered once he received permissiont, then waited where he'd stood originally, albeit with a grin on his face this time. "So what do you think of my watch? Was it worth the wait to find out about?" He asked, snickering.

The mouse was definitely feeling much better tan his friend was about the whole situation. He was quite content in his afterglow. Pouting a little at the fact that Rai did not seem to feel the same way as he stormed out, it was soon brought to the end when his attention was gained by a knock on his door.
"Come in." He called out knowing that it would only be Cha. His expression would definitely be one of a mouse who had gotten the cheese. "That power your watch has is definitely worth it. I would recommend that we stay away from the horse for a bit though, he did not seem to be as pleased."
He motioned for the owl to come closer to him. Once it had been complied to he reached out a hand a let it rest right above where his Jack rank was now. Taking a deep breath he concentrated on it, when his hand was pulled away there would be a black ' K ' there instead.
"That looks much more suiting, I have to say" He replied with a smile. "Congratulations, Your Highness."
Today had turned out to be better than even he had planned.

Pascha couldn't help but be amused at Aderlass's obviously content, er, glow. He used to think that only pregnant people glowed, but had soon learned the errors of that thought.
"I would agree on that," He replied. The bird could only imagine the dramatic exit Shinrai had stormed out with - probably involving stomping, glaring, and death threats - but would get over it eventually. Hopefully he wouldn't hold a grudge. Just remember: Not his fault! Mostly.
When motioned he stepped forward, and watched as the J faded away into a K with a slightly burning slash tingling sensation, and smiled to himself at it.
That had been.. easy? Weird.
"Thank you, your Majesty," He replied, bowed, and then grinned.
