The slate coloured skunk wriggled slightly in bed unware that her fluffy tail was slowly slipping from beneath the covers when suddenly it fell, plopping gently towards the floor and startling her abruptly awake. Pale blue eyes blinked sleepily as a small yawn broke wide her lips. Was she late for work? Her nose wrinkled as she inadvertently caught the scent of the pillow and realized... it wasn't her. With a gasp, she sat upright and stared about the strange room, gathering the sheets to hold tightly to her chest, as though they were some sort of armour to protect her.
Where was she?! Wot was..... Suddenly, recollection came flooding back and the skunk relaxed slightly with the knowledge that the deed was done; she had paid the excess of her 'account' with Ashwin. Speaking of whom... Kel glanced shyly towards the other side of the bed to find the pine marten still in it. There was no way he would have missed her little panic attack and she flushed an even deeper pink.

Ashwin woke to the feeling of the covers suddenly being pulled away and he blinked blearily, hand reaching over to the side. Did Treasach get in, the nosy little basta-
Oh. No, he had company. The thought was a considerably cheerier one. He rolled over to look over at the skunk who had shared his bed the night before, staring down at him with a fearsome blush on her cheeks and the covers clutched tightly to her chest. Was she regretting it, then? He hoped not. Mornings were always nicer when the women were pleasant and didn't start whining or crying or anything silly like that. He never forced them. Women were just confusing things sometimes. And yet, he absolutely adored them. Go figure.
"Good morning," he offered in a voice still a little rough with sleep, bringing one hand up to cover his mouth in a yawn. "Sorry to startle you. Would you like some breakfast?"

”G-good m-morning,” she offered back softly and she didn’t think her blush would ever go away, especially not with her acting like this was her very first time. Well, like it or not, she wasn’t a virgin… she was just rather close to being like a virgin. She felt her blush deepening again as she tried to shove the thought away. ”I-i w-would hate to im-impose upon you.” she answered, pretending to the absolute best of her ability that she wasn’t some slip of a girl about to panic. Even if she felt like a slip of a girl and was certainly fighting to keep from panicking. No, no; this was her bargain, and she was, at the very least, pleased that now she only owed the ten tokens when her perfect bander came in.
Abruptly, a new thought came to mind; wot if Theofilus ever found out?! The thought hadn’t occurred to her until just then and her eyes widened in new fear. Would he think less of her? She couldn’t stand that!

Ah, yes, this one looked about three seconds away from either a panic attack, a bout of crying, or a flat-out faint. Ashwin sighed a little and reached out to pat her shoulder. "It's okay, dear, I understand. If you need to run right away, I won't be offended. If you'd like to stay for eggs and toast, though, they're easy to whip up and no imposition at all. I like making breakfast for my overnight guests."
Please let her say yes... he hated it when girls left on unhappy terms, but he wasn't about to force her to stay and shove food down her throat. She just needed to calm down a bit and settle herself. It wasn't like this had been her first time, he could say that with enough certainty. She was still inexperienced, though... had to be on the younger side of his earlier age guestimate. Or maybe that shyness just got in the way of everything.

”Oh, it’s not that— Well, it was and it wasn’t. It wasn’t so much that she’d just had sex with a virtual stranger, though that –was- a complete step outside of her character, it was more wot Theofilus might think if he ever knew! But she couldn’t tell Ashwin that. ”I just... thought of something else.” And she hadn’t the foggiest how to cover that up, especially if he decided to ask. Instead she said quiet quickly, ”Breakfast sounds absolutely wonderful, actually, thank you.” And if she hadn’t still been blushing, she would have blushed again.
”Is there… ah, anything I can do to help?” she asked, trying to force her mind from the panic still threatening just at the edge of her entire being. No, no, Theofilus wouldn’t find out! She would keep him from doing so, somehow. Though how? Perhaps she could just not bring up the issue of cost… if only he would not!

Ashwin didn't feel any need to pry, not in the slightest. Her thoughts were her own business. At least she looked a little more in control of herself now, a little less likely to fly off the handle at the slightest move from him. He perked up a little when she accepted his offer. Food seemed to make everyone a bit less stressed in the morning, whatever their issue.
Eggs, toast... a pot of coffee would be nice... maybe he had a little orange juice left, too, if he hadn't used it all yesterday. "No, that's just fine. I'll only be a few minutes. Maybe you could take the time to freshen up or something like that." He pat her shoulder again before hauling himself out of bed, resolutely forcing back the groan he wanted to make. His body could go to hell for all he cared - he was not acknowledging those pops and aches until he got into the kitchen. He approached the door and did a quick open-step-shut so his stubborn bander didn't get through by accident.

The woman gave a small nod, watching the man carefully as he got up and out of bed himself. He obviously didn’t want her aid in this and that was fine; she could happily do with a few minutes alone. Ashwin tripped swiftly from the room, closing the door with a resolute thump.
Kelasia was left alone in the bed, ears tucking backwards as concern and some degree of panic threatened to return in full force; no, no! She refused to give into it! She took another deep breath, and closed her eyes to let it ease back out. Just keep breathing, keep breathing! After a few moments of near, utter panic, her admonitions to herself even worked. Well, may as well do as the bander keeper suggested; she could freshen up and that would certainly help her feel much better about herself. With that, she slid out of the large bed herself, feeling oddly sore. She didn’t give in to the thought now, instead slipping to the bathroom and locating the shower and towels. Just ten minutes or so later, the skunk was getting back out of the bath and swiftly toweling herself dry as best she could. She’d been quite right as, she assumed, had Ashwin for suggesting it in the first place; she felt much better even for that quick shower.
She caught the first wafts of breakfast coming to the room and she felt the first stirrings of her stomach in response.

Humming as he slid the eggs onto plates, the pine martin grabbed a tray from beneath the counter and set it out, quickly placing plates, cups, and mugs of steaming coffee on its worn wooden surface. The eggs were done sunny-side up for better dipping, the toast had a thin layer of butter, and both cups of coffee were black with the option for more if he ran back to the kitchen. He preferred his without anything extra and had forgotten to ask how she liked hers. Ah well. He could ask when he got there.
He knocked on the door with an elbow and carefully balanced the tray to let himself in, Treasach and the others now quite distracted by their own breakfasts. "I'm coming in now," he called out, voice still rather up-beat, before he opened the door and let himself in. The food smelled good, he felt less achy than he had a few moments ago, and he could tell by the smell of soap that she'd taken his suggestion and showered. Very good.

Kelasia turned from her busywork; she’d begun remaking the bed. ”That smells very good,” she said quietly, with a faint blush and a shy smile. She quickly tossed up the other side of the blanket and tried to fold it over before smoothing it quickly down. She wasn’t entirely certain where he wanted to eat, though the tray suggested he was accustomed to having his morning meal in bed. Perhaps she shouldn’t have remade it? She just wasn’t sure, and now she feared she’d done something wrong; presumptuous even!
She belatedly realized his voice sounded a little hoarse and she hoped he wasn’t getting sick or something; uncomfortable or not, she didn’t want anyone to be ill. ”Are you feeling alright?” she asked softly, as she waited for some clue as to where he wanted to eat; she didn’t want to presume anything in this highly peculiar (for her, at least) situation.

Ashwin cleared his throat a little, realizing that had sounded somewhat froggy, and raises his eyebrows in surprise at the made bed. "I'm fine, thanks for asking. Aren't you a sweetheart," he remarked, setting the tray down on the small, flat chest in front of his bed and sitting down. "You didn't have to do that, but thanks all the same. It makes it a little easier to sit down and eat."
He reached for his plate from the tray, sitting cross-legged and resting it on one knee. "I apologize for the lack of a proper table," he said with a slight smile, "but the banders take up most of the other room and I doubt you want to eat with Treasach being nosy and insistent. He's fond of toast for some reason, and coffee. Crazy thing."
With his fork he opened the top of his egg and dipped the corner of his toast, watching her curiously to see if she liked it.
