Chai took the money and put that pouch inside the other pouch wrapped around her neck. Wouldn't do to leave the money he'd offered her for performing the surgery. Really, she thought he was an idiot to give her money for something she wanted done, but whatever floated his boat. There probably weren't too many people offering to let him hack into them. Eh.
"Oh. Yeah, I'll keep that in mind. I don't want to die, ya know? That would kinda... suck. Yeah. Anyway, later. Thanks. I can probably find the door, so long as I don't trip over all your crap."
She sauntered out, trying to keep her movements smooth despite the first twinges of pain that were starting along her back and shoulders. That would be really nasty in a few minutes, she guessed. And she couldn't take the pills for three hours? Fine... she'd try to use her pain-handling ability when it got worse to stave off the nastiest effects, maybe crash out in a park somewhere until she could pop the pills, and then see about getting a return coach home.
