She was running, faster than she had ever before. Someone had put out a death warent for her. She didn't know why, or that she really cared, it was just that she would really want to know who she ticked off. Yet now she was running for her very life. The assassin that they had sent after her was quite profeciant at chasing and more with their blade. She had already brushed across it once, bearing a slight cut on her flank. On top of that she was quite fatigued. This single chase took her from her Region all the way here, a whole four days mad dash. She was heaving as she raounded a corner, her nails giving way underneath her. She slid into some crates in a bundle of fur and tail. She laied there not really wanting to move, yet she wouldn't give the assassin the pleasure of killing her in this state. She lifted herself wearrly to her paws and started to move again, which was her downfall. She had sprung her right rear ankle giving a startled cry of pain. She went down again in a crumpled heap. She looked about relizing that it was dark once again, wondering which day it was now. Her fur covred from tail to snout in dirt and mud with a few twigs thrown here and their. She looked like a rustic lowlander... she gave a sigh and draged herself to the nearest door giving it a weak knock while hoarcly and without breath left in her lungs, "I ... need... help... will someone... answer?" she said nearly fainting. That was when she colappsted near the door fainting from all the exahtion and long nights of running had brought her. Her last thought was that of the assassin not to catch her at this moment... to hide away in someones house... or a public place...

When the door opened and the two foxes prepared to trot out, it certainly wasn't because they'd heard a soft plea, but because they were planning on going into the market. So Mekare, better known as Kare to her family and friends, halted in surprise to stare at the large form passed out-ish on their doorstep. Behind her, her Highlander mix daughter ran right into her leg and gave a sharp cry of pain before backing up to shake her head in some confusion. "Moom," the girl complained, coming around the still woman so she could better let her displeasure be known. "That really. . . hurt?" Her words trailed off as she tilted her head curiously at the woman on their doorstep. "Mom," she stage-whispered. "There's a lady in our door."

((Does Inali get to meet two SD's Here? ^_^ Thats cool))
She had felt the sharp kick in the shin as the young'an accidently hit her, which brought her out of her ozzie blackness, she opend one of her light violate eyes to peer up at the fox pup, atleast it wasn't the assassin that was chasing her through the regions. She gave a sigh... it would seem that to her that she was an inconvinace to the two that needed to get out... yet she needed help.
"Please help... I'm in need of shelter... and... water at best." She said with a week reply... it didn't help that the little one had hit her in the leg that was both sprung and injured by the would be assassin. It was throbing now... She got up on her four paws rather clumsily... peering about in the dark corners... she thought she saw some shadow, but it darted away all to quickly for her to tell if it was the one who had been following her. She gave a week smile... at least he wouldn't kill infront of others... she thought as she gave a weak smile, which could have been mistaken twoards the little one and the mother as being twoards them.

Kare's ears twitched as Kamaria ran into the now conscious woman, but she really wasn't too certain what she should do in this situation. The woman seemed. . . uneasy besides injured. The Ville woman had no choice, then. She tilted her head towards her eldest daughter then tossed it back towards the house; they needed to get the Yarrow inside.
The hybrid pulled a slight face, but only because she wasn't entirely certain how to go about what her mother was indicating. So the girl gave a put-upon sigh and began to explain to the woman-- though it still didn't occur to her to apologize for running into the woman's leg, injured or not.
"We'll have to get you inside, then. Mom doesn't want you lying on the porch like that."
Kare turned and fixed her eldest with a stern, pink gaze. Kamaria's ears wilted quickly. "Well, you're injured," the girl tried to make amends. "So we need to get you inside."
The purple fox moved to the Yarrow's side, trying to help her up and support her as well as she could so they could all retreat back inside of the house.

The small girl seemed nice enough, yet something didn't feel quite right... in her mixed confusion she wondred if this all was a elborate plot to get her inside and away from the veiw of the public... could this purple gal and her mother be in with the assassin? Would they stoop that low? She wished that they wern't they seemed quite nice and she wouldn't want to attack someone at this moment...
With her tail tucked between her legs, more in fear than submission, she allowed them to help her into the house. It seemed nice in here, while she noted every exit point that she could find. She gave a sigh as she was set down. She looked about wondering all the while if the hunter dared to come and attack her in her moment of weakness. That was when the thought it her... what if she got these two into truble? Something they couldn't handle. She shuddred with the meer thought. She didn't want to disturb their precious life styles with that hunter on the lose propbably right outside. It would probably be best to tell them first and explain herself before things got ugly.
"I really do not want to be a bother... yet I must tell you something." She said as she gave a weak sigh... atleast they where helping her at the moment.. though this would be the test... to see if they trully were to help her or not. "I'm... being chased... by a assassin... hunter... It would seem that I pissed off the wrong people. Would you still permit me to be here?" came the weak cry for help, she ment every word, and if these people didn't want trouble she would quickly leave and find someone else that would hold their own aginst the unknown hunter.
She hoped though that they would allow her to stay, maybe just long enough to recouperate some of her strength and dexterity, so she coud make a run for the courts, or even a watch man, or something...

Kare's head tilted so she could glance over at the woman and something passed so swiftly through her eyes, it would be difficult to pinpoint what was there unless you knew exactly what you were looking for. She mouthed the word 'water' towards her eldest daughter and Kamaria bounded swiftly off to do as her mother desired.
The Highland mix could have created the water, but for now it wouldn't be worth it. It didn't take her long to return, which was likely just as well since Mekare did not speak out loud, as someone might assume by the words 'forever silent' written across her hide.
Only after she set down the bowl in front of the Yarrow fox and had impatiently given the woman time to at least wet her throat before her mother gave her a gentle nod.
"Do you really have an assassin after you? Wot'd you do? Did he follow you here?" Kamaria was excited if a bit afraid of the woman's story.

((sorry that it takes a bit for me to post... I have all these '#' to remove from the colors... else it don't work.))
Inali looked to the obvious mother, did she not speak? or was it something else? That didn't matter at that moment though when she saw the water infront of her. She lapped at the water with more eagerness than she wished to show... she hadn't the time to stop for the past few days to grab the bare necisties that would be needed. This to her was probably the best water she had ever had. It could have been distilled and she wouldn't have quite cared.
The little girls question was probably the best to answer, after finishing up the water, almost every drop, did she sit up into a sitting position wrapping her tail around to her right side. She cleared her throught and spoke softly, as if scared that he would over hear.
"Well it had all started when I went to this party. It was rather a lovely party, well untill I messed it up some how. I got a bit intoxicated and must have done something rather rude to someone, to have them send someone after me... I have been running for so long. Nearly three, or four days." she said as she looked back to the empty bowl wondering if it could be filled with food too, though that would be a true blessing and she didn't have anything to return to the pair if they did. She was a compleat stranger to these two... well at least there was one way to fix that, she would have to introduce herself.
"Umm... I'm sorry but I forgotten to introduce myself, I'm Inali." Said Inali, rasing a dirt covred pruple paw to her breast, which had a 6 of Hearts there.

"Someone's trying to kill you because you were rude?" Kamaria reiterated in surprise, her purple eyes widening in disbelief. That just didn't make sense to her at all. Of course, at least part of that disbelief was probably because she regularly seemed to insult people; she was a bit too outspoken at times. "That's. . . that's just not nice."
Kare smiled gently at her eldest daughter, though she suddenly wished that Asher was home just then. With the door firmly closed behind them, the Ville an Miir fox locked it as well and turned to eye the dirty form that sprawled now in the entrance of way their house. They didn't really have a lot of spare room, though. She finally decided that they would not be able to provide the poor woman with much privacy, but at least they could get her set up on the couch. The adult moved off quickly to fetch some supplies. She returned briefly with some bread and meat, then tapped Kamaria's shoulder and tilted her head off to the side.
"Oh, yes!" the girl exclaimed and turned to smile at their guest again. "After you eat, we'll try to get you cleaned up, okay?"

((Due to it's difficulty to read, the colored text will no longer be used in this thread, ^_^. And its rather hard to remove all the '#'s))
"I thank you." She said as she went to food and bread with less fearcness than that of the water. She was a guest now and it would only be polite to show off her good quilities. She bit into the meat and bread when her politness went away. She was just famished. When she was finished she looked at her dirty frame and knew that she had to get something done about it soner or later, and the little one had told her they where going to show her where she could wash up at.
"Ahh yes... it must have been someone from Torqehelm... but all I know is that I was quite not myself that night in Yarrow. So Yes... I do belive that someone is trully out to get me, I even came upon him hoping to get the best of him, but he reached out and cut my rear right flank." she said as she turned to show the two the cut on her rear right flank, and the swolen ankle that she had almost forgotten about. IT wasn't truly on her list of current priorites.
She looked back up to the silent mother and the talkitive daughter, "You two have yet to tell me your names just yet." She just wondred about the reason te mother didn't talk, well there was one way to ask and that was simply to say it without worry, "So why is it that you don't talk much? And if I'm being rude than just let me know." She said as she removed several twigs and leaves from her thick tail, the mud would have to wait for later.

The silent fox blinked in surprise at the question, her head tilting to one side at their guest. Perhaps it was the injury mixed with exhaustion and the woman's own region, or perhaps tact was just not the woman's strong point. In any case, Mekare was not insulted and simply gave a small, silent smile. She tilted her head again, indicating that the pair should follow her. She headed down the entryway without another word.
Kamaria flicked her tails curiously and with happy excitement. She pretty much ignored the question because it was directed towards her mother and because she had more important things to ask about. "That's a pretty nasty cut!" She actually didn't want to look too closely at it. It wasn't that she was super squeamish, but she didn't really like how injuries looked. "How did you get away? Was it really hard?"
They were travelling through a nice, cozy home towards a small bedroom off the living room where a bathroom with a tub was located.
