Crimson eyes looked down at him as he spoke and met his, vaguely insubstantial in the bright sunlight. The beams shone right through him and hit the grass beneath him. It was so strange, not casting a shadow. Truly, no one knew that he even still existed... except for his Pravus.
He was starting to think that he wanted that to change. It irked him to be so isolated, even while he had the opportunity to be anywhere he pleased near the feline. He just didn't know how to go about it, or if it was even possible.
When Heilyn asked her question and glanced over at him, he met her eyes, knowing it would make no difference. Those odd yellow eyes would never be able to meet his red ones again. With a small grimace, he walked over to her and stood directly in front of her. "Tell her you're talking to someone who's got a hand on her heart," he said with the vaguest bit of amusement, letting his hand sink into her chest. She would have no idea, not even the slightest, but he needed to garner his amusement where he could, even if it fell flat in his own mind most of the time. She wouldn't believe Pravus, regardless of what he'd said. Had he been alive, he wouldn't have believed Pravus. So.

Pravus blinked slowly, listening to her speak. The dull throb of his headache beginning to increase slightly at the social meeting. His eyelids narrowed just slightly to cut a bit more of the bright sun from his vision. He too, had a fondness for hand-to-hand, it gave him an excuse to stay in bipedal and use his claws.
"Hand-to-hand has it's place. . but blades." He trailed off, obviously lost on a slight tangent of his own. The cat's attention snapped back to the conversation at hand when he watched his Queen move forwards, placing a hand directly into Heilyn's chest. If he had been in bipedal the fur on his back would have stood up on end.
"You . . shouldn't be able to do that." He said, suddenly standing. Pravus didn't move towards Heilyn but he reached out with a hand, pleading to his Queen to quit. To quit doing things no living person should be able to do. He could pretend if Fino didn't do those things.
"My Queen, please. . . you shouldn't be able to do that." His voice cracked just a little, barely noticeable. Pravus' amber eyes were locked on Lyn's chest, and Fino's disapparated hand.
They slowly moved up to Heilyn's eyes, trying to ignore what his Majesty was doing. "I'm talking to my Queen, who. . who. . has his hand on your heart."

Fino blinked at the tone of Pravus's voice, turning away from his inspection of Heilyn's human features. She wasn't half bad-looking, for a woman. He might have even found her attractive under different circumstances. Without the smell, he might have even invited her for a night of fun when he'd been alive... the fight for dominance would have been fun, anyway. She would have lost and it would have been delicious. Too bad she was so enamored with her hairy Spade.
He regarded the feline for a moment with an appraising expression. He really looked distressed. How bizarre. The Queen was dead and there was no denying that fact. Proof of it seemed to unsettle his King. That was... annoying. He wiggled his fingers for a moment, sticking them out the other side of her body before drawing back his arm and stepping away. "I should be able to do anything I please," he said in a brooding tone, idle amusement soured. He may have matured during his time ruling the Court, but that core of selfishness had never truly changed, merely its expression. "That is precisely the problem."

Born and raised in the Bog, Heilyn was quite used to copious amounts of crazy. She both knew and accepted this. However, despite the level of insane, most Bog Dwellers were still able to function. This Pravus guy? Yyeah....
No.
At first the stare Heilyn gave the Feline was blank. As the man once again broke away from their perfectly sane conversation of preferred weaponry, he began uttering nonsense once again, but this time while staring at her near-flat chest. Her eyes began to narrow as her guard went completely up. She had to get away from this man, and fast. But... she didn't want to offend him for fear he might come after her... or her family. The image of her lower-ranking daughter, Spade lover, and Club son flashed in her mind. If she wasn't going to be a target, they certainly were.
"Is that so?" she asked, a dark edge now in her voice, accentuating the natural husk years of speaking the harsh native tongue of the Raemblen Bog, "And what would he want with that?"

Pravus shook a little as he saw his Queen's fingers poking out behind her, then wiggling. He really. . shouldn't be able to do that. A small piece inside of Pravus broke a little as he watched until his Queen finally pulled his arm back out and moved away. The next words however were like a slap across the face. How could he have told his Queen that there was anything he wasn't allowed to do?
He dropped to the ground quickly and bowed his head in humiliation. "I'm sorry my Queen. . I didn't mean." He wasn't quite sure how to end the sentence so he let it drift off. Slowly, his eyes came up to Heilyn's and he tilted his head. The cat didn't understand why she looked so disturbed. Somewhere deep inside he knew other people couldn't see Fino, but it never really registered.
"I. . don't know. But he's not doing it anymore." The relief was evident on his face for a moment before he went back to his normal blank expression.

The immediate apology and submission to his irritation was like a balm on the insult of Fino's current state. It didn't really help things, but it made them feel better. At least someone could still hear and react to him, and that someone was more than willing to do so. It wasn't that he particularly enjoyed upsetting the feline without a reason, but when there was no one else to hear him... well. Who else was there to take out his frustrations on sometimes?
"It's fine," he said coolly, dismissing the matter. It wasn't as if Pravus had done anything particularly unusual. He knew the man was unstable and seeing one of his mental anchors become much less stable than it should be wasn't a very fun experience. "I don't like the threat in her voice, however. I wonder what she would do if I really could grab her heart out of her chest." His eyes narrowed and he stared at the woman's torso, the image vivid in his mind. Not being able to touch anything besides Pravus, and even that only 'sort of', made him want to do even more random and destructive things than he would have normally... just so that he could. The tendency disturbed him sometimes, but he was finding it harder to mind.
