The raccoon skipped down the street in his animal form. Well, as well as one could skip with an extra set of legs. It was more of a happy hop than anything else. Either way, Rocky could careless. He was happy that he could fly and people knew his name. He hummed to himself as he wandered around to find the proper street. He was looking for his new office, but couldn't seem to find it. Apparently he was bad at understanding directions more than usual. Oh well, at least he was having an interesting time wandering around the city. Perhaps he could find someone to eventually give him directions? Or maybe he should fly around for a bit? That wouldn't be as fun though. Not many people flew in Capital City or something. It meant he wouldn't have the chance of running into someone interesting. He had been out to make new friends and such when he was in the City. Why not ask some stranger for directions then?

Anyone who passed by the small form might have thought her dead. Giving a deep, relaxed sigh, the small female rolled over to her side. She was laying on the sidewalk, out of the way of the traffic of course, soaking up the sun. Those who knew her would probably say she was pretending to be like one of her plants. Peeking one of her eyes open, taking a moment to adjust to the amount of light change, she looked out over the people who were making their way up and down the street. One person in particular held her attention. It appeared to be a raccoon . . . only at the same time it was not. The extra limbs and wings definitely were not the norm on a raccoon. Watching as the male made his way; well skipping came pretty close to the action, down the street she found herself lifting her ears to attention in interest.

As oblivious as the raccoon was, he happened to notice the young girl (or was she a woman?) on the side walk. Rocky paused with a head tilt. Why wasn't anyone trying to help her?
Then she moved. Well her ears did. Had she looked at him just a second ago? The raccoon couldn't really tell. Judging from her colors though she was from Corvistowne. Well, that could be interesting enough. The raccoon fluttered, rather than walked over to her. He stood, since it was pretty difficult to sit properly in this form. "Hello! Are you all right miss? Why on earth are you flopped on the sidewalk like that?" His wings twitched with anticipation of her answer.
She definitely was from Corvistowne now that he was closer. Rocky grinned down at her. She was rather interesting herself. What sort of animal was she? The raccoon bounced where he stood, filled with curiosity.

When the raccoon made his way over to her, well fluttered was the more accurate description, she looked up at him as she sat-stood over her. She gave a smile of greeting.
“Why would I not be okay?” She asked, tilting her head to the side as if she was considering the thought, as she pulled herself into a sitting position her arms wrapped around her knees. “Have you never just lay about and soaked up the sun?” She asked him. “You should try it sometime. It is really relaxing.” He really was an odd one, not meaning his appearance.
Shaking her head sadly she looked up at him. “Since it is pretty obvious you are not just laying about, wot are you up to on this find day? Would you be interested in joining me?”
She wondered how the raccoon could move about with all those legs. They seemed like they would be more cumbersome then just four of them.

"I've never been one to lay around. I tend to be on the move a lot. Flying is one of my favorite things to do!" The raccoon said happily as he moved to stand on the side walk. He paused for a moment. Sitting would probably be better if he was doing a lot of talking. It was just a matter of sitting with his extra limbs. It was so much easier in biped form.
After a few moments of pondering the raccoon managed to sit. For legs were sitting on the ground while the other two propped him up. His wings brushed against the ground slightly, dusting away bits of dirt. "I was just looking for my new office. Unfortunately I'm not good with Capital City. I prefer my home in Corvistowne." Rocky's grin grew wider, "My name's Rocky, what's yours Miss?" His tail twitched happily. It was nice meeting friendly people in the City.

“The name is Elyse.” She replied easily. “It is nice to meet you Rocky.”
She considered him for a moment. It seemed that taking a seat for the raccoon was bit of a difficult accomplishment. “You are from Corvistowne? I am a Corvistownian but I have never been there . . . well, yet anyway. I was born and raised here in the Capital.” She gave a firm nod of her head before her tail began to wave from side to side, slowly, with her happiness.
“Where is this office of yours located?” she inquired, maybe she could help him out. “Maybe I can help you find it, if you want.” He seemed like someone who would be fun to know and she was always willing to help someone out.
Papa was always warning her about being careful with strangers. She was pretty sure that he was just over reacting most of the time; she had not known anyone who was not at least friendly yet.

"It's nice to meet you Elyse!" Rocky said cheerfully, one of his paws moved to offer his hand for a shake. The raccoon caught himself before he fell forward. That was pleasant. He obviously spent too much time in his biped form if he was doing such silly things.
"Well, I imagine you know you're way around the city then. You should go to Corvistowne sometime. It has lots of interesting things I must say. But yes... my new office." The raccoon shifted his weight. The bag that had been on his back was now on his front. After a bit of a balancing act he managed to pull out a sheet of paper. "This is the address, but I can't even find the proper street."
The raccoon sighed as he handed Elyse the paper. He had such a horrible sense of direction sometimes. "Thank you for your help, even if you don't know where it is."

She watched as he almost fell when he offered her his paw as well as when he shuffled himself so that his bag that had been on his back was now in front of him. Taking the piece of paper he offered her, she looked it over.
She read the address of the sheet. 29 WaterBird Street, huh?. That was not too far from here. It should be just two blocks over or so, really.
“This is pretty near here. Probably two blocks from where we sit now. I could easily take you there if you wanted.” She offered him with a smile before handing him the sheet of paper back.
“Wot is it that you are going to do?” She asked, curious to know what had brought the raccoon to the Capital and the office that had been addressed on the sheet. He did not look too old that he had to have a job.

"Oh thank you! Your help would be much appreciated," The raccoon gave a cheery tail twitch as he placed the number back in his bag. He flipped it around to his back again with some effort.
"Well, my specialty is flight. Recently after achieving my goal I decided to help out people by becoming a flight therapist. There are plenty of people who suffer wing related injuries and have problems getting them heeled or set properly." Rocky was quite merrily fluffing his wings as he spoke. Achieving his life long dream really was something. Containing his joy even now was impossible.
"Oh, do you have a field you're particularly interested in, Miss Elyse?" Rocky asked remembering his manners. He was quite cheerfully standing now. It was easier to focus if he was moving or ready to move. He had half a mind to change into his midform, but that probably wouldn't be proper in the presence of a stranger. That and taking up less room was always a good idea.

“Flight, huh? That sounds like a really interesting job! I hope that you are able to help a lot of people out in the future.” She nodded her head as she spoke. She had not really thought of those with wings having such a need for a doctor, mostly it had not crossed her mind due to not many people she knew having wings. Well except for Se and Eilwyn. It was good to hear that other people had goals to help others like herself.
“I am planning on becoming a healer. I am currently an apprentice to my aunt-of-sorts who is teaching me all about plants and their properties.” A huge smile was written on her face, betraying just how much she loved plants. There was not much else in the world that held her interest for long periods of time.
“And I would be more the happy to help you find the place. Shall we head out for it now or would you perhaps like to eat lunch first?” She asked, pointing towards a café across the street.
