There was another lowland mix to skip in, literally, only this one was far less unattractive then his brother was. He loved his little yellow ball of teeth that wasn't quite so little and he was interested in giving him a companion... and he'd been keeping tabs on the shop lately. His flame hued tail swayed delightedly from side to side as he continued forward with his prancey walk. He had specific things in mind and his eyes widened a bit when he saw the closest thing to what he wanted... perfect!
He bounded over to the shop keep and paused, surprised ot see Aderlass here but that just delighted him all the more. He wouldn't interfere with the Queen's business and waited as patiently as he could, shifting from one paw to another until he could address the sorgaire.
Excuse me mister but... I'd like Tigs.
And more tail swaying quickly followed his words.

((I will make an RP post when I actually have time, but Tegan would like to know about Snowflake, please. Temperament, pedigree (she's not expecting the greatest since it's not a Highland/Yarrow champ, but just wants to know medical history and such), and temperature resistnce))

It was starting to look like a good thing that the pigeon had decided to come into the shop again today, it was already getting busy.
Lara glanced down at the child who'd entered the shop with a barrage of questions. Curious little mix. The blue could only be Solandrian, but she really wasn't sure about the rest. The child's breed was a similar question, but that really wasn't her concern. Her concern was making sure the girl knew what she was getting into with Snowflake. He was a pretty thing, that was for sure, but... That didn't seem to be all that the girl cared about.
It was almost refreshing, for all that it was annoying.
"For all that he's lovely-looking, Snowflake's got quite a temper.[/b]" the woman answered truthfully. "I'd wager that he'd do best in a one-bander household with very few children. Doesn't seem to like 'em much, but I'd guess you're old enough that he wouldn't mind you terribly.[/b]"
She rubbed the place where beak met skin, scratching absently at the feathers while she looked the white beastie over. "He comes from a local breeder who's done good work with the whites, so I'd say you're safe there, no real health issues other than little patch-ups from scraps with the others.[/b]" the last question was the one that caused the bird to glance suspiciously at the girl. "He'd do well enough in Sorgaire but Solandria'd make him into a popsicle, I'd wager to say. The normal and light bodies tend to do badly there, and he's got pretty little feathers on 'is legs but they won't do much to keep him warm.[/b]"
Not to mention his pretty long ears. They'd be easily frostbitten, even in the slightly warmer areas of northern Sorgaire.
"If you're looking to go further than Sorgaire, though, I'd recommend one like Tab.[/b]" she tapped on the cage that held the bright-orange creature. "Even though she won't blend in so well.[/b]"

Whoa, now there was a bright one. Ashwin's head snapped around as he came down the stairs and caught sight of fire in his wooden store. Damn it all, but he did not trust people with flames randomly spouting out of them inside buildings made of extremely flammable material. If it wasn't such bad business, he would shoo them out indiscriminately. Eugh, and this one had a touch of Lowland to it, didn't it? Looked male, and about as intelligent as a marshmallow with his little prancing walk. Lovely. At least he knew what he was going to buy. "Tigs? Yes, fine. Let me get her." A pretty thing, this one. He'd actually eyed her up himself, but in the end had decided that she'd make him more than he was willing to sacrifice. Zether walked into the shop curiously, his eyes immediately drawn to the banders with their wide variety of colors, fur types and... oddities, on some of them. No one in his family had ever owned a bander; for that matter, he didn't know anyone with one, period, but had just seen people on the streets with them. He talked it over with his mother, though, and both of them agreed a bander would be a good companion for him - especially since he didn't have a Slithey or a Mome like much of his family.
Immediately he was drawn to a light purple one - it's colors nearly matched his! And it looked like it had bell-bottoms, awesome. The pup glanced at the name then quickly went up to the counter. "Excuse me, but is Perry still available? I'd like him, if he's not." The boy requested politely, but hopefully. |

(OOC: Reply if you feel the need <3 )) The sparrow waltzed into the shop. His purple eyes glittered faintly in the light. He was proud of himself, he was proud of his bright pink corset. And he was quite interested in getting another bander. Recently he had been having fantastic luck with his darling Azzy, so why not expand? He wasn't very picky. As long as it was adorable and "well mannered" he would put up with it. He just wanted a bander that didn't destroy his furniture. He had gone through one too many sofa's in the past few years, he didn't want to buy a new one because a bander chewed a hole in it. The baby he had given away was bad enough, he didn't want another one. He politely waited for all the customers to be done before approaching the counter. "Excuse me, is Cantaloupe still available?" |

 Minh trotted into Ashwin's Shoppe in high spirits; when she was younger she would have never imagined herself as one of those absent-minded older ladies with a dozen or more banders--partially because she didn't have the attention span to think farther ahead than ten minutes most of the time--but she was finding that she actually rather enjoyed having a bunch of the darling little hellions scampering about the house. And recently, through a rather bizzare chain of events, she found two of her favorite banders--Flutternutter and Zsa Zsa--expecting. It was all rather exciting. She hadn't actually come to Ashwin's with anything particular in mind--except for the vague notion of picking up some more supplies--but she couldn't help looking over the new stock. Maybe she would become a part-time breeder; the thought appealed to her, and her various nieces and nephews (and her own children) were sure to appreciate new pets. Picking out a bander she liked, she headed for the counter, "Excuse me; I'm interested in purchasing Star." [No RP-reply necessary, though don't let me stop you. X3] |

"I heard you take requests, may I order one with a few specifications?"
(I am interested in a slot. Tegan has really been poking me for a Bander lately. P: )
