(Jenn: I set it so that it was after Dilis and Ashwin left his shoppe and well you know) Dilis started to wake and noticed that she was not in her bed... she sat up quickly and looked around. No. no. She was definitely not at her home at all. She wasn't quite sure where she was until she saw him. She suddenly remembered what had happened and started to panic. Oh dear... oh dear... Father is going to kill me for staying out all night. On the bright side, she got the best sleep she ever had and meeting Ashwin had made her feel better about being around other people; it really helped her self-esteem. It started in her wanting to learn more about banders so that she could care for hers properly and then somewhere in the heat of the moment... it had turned elsewhere. She could feel the panic setting in again; she had to keep breathing. Maybe Father hadn't noticed her absence... yes, maybe he wasn't even awake yet. With that comforting thought, she was able to breathe again.

Ashwin didn't often sleep in his animal form, only when he had 'company' who likewise used theirs. Sometimes it was just easier that way. It was quite early in the morning, pale light managing to make it through a crack in his curtains and falling on part of the dark wooden floor. He felt a body in bed next to him shift and move, one eye cracking open to observe.
Ah yes, the pretty little Avington feline. He'd had to be quite careful with those antlers and his bedding but ultimately he didn't think anything had been damaged. Even so, it wasn't like bedding couldn't be replaced.
He woke up a little bit more and squinted, making out her expression. It certainly looked more 'awake' than his. Damn, would she be one of the ones to have a panic attack or would she handle things calmly? One could only hope. She'd certainly never slept with anyone before, if her behavior and other things could serve to judge. Regardless, she had been as sweet in bed as she had been out of it and he'd had fun wooing and flirting with her to come closer. Such a pretty thing.
"Good morning," he murmured quietly, stifling a yawn for the moment. He could let it out later. "Are you alright?" Regrets? Second thoughts? Or just a general 'panic'?

Dilis was in a tizzy, not because she had slept with someone for the first time but because of the repercussions from Father. If he ever found out... oh god... he would have Ashwin's head on a plate. She had really messed up now, not only had she stayed out all night without alerting Father... but. she had slept with someone as well. Someone older than her Father was probably too, someone that Father had outright said he did not even trust.
"Regrets? About you... no. I really enjoyed myself last night; I let go of myself completely and I've never done that before... It felt wonderful. I am however concerned about Father finding out what happened, I am not sure how he would take it. He has a bit of a temper sometimes and I would feel terribly if he got mad at you because of me. See, I had only told him I was going to buy a bander; I have not since contacted him so I have been out all night without his knowledge....for the first time ever" She sighed.
She really genuinely liked Ashwin and hoped that tonight would not be the only night he invited her to his bed. That was uncharacteristic for Dilis because she knew he liked young woman and had taken quite a few to his bed.

Ahh, she was a daddy's girl. That explained a few things. He'd landed in this situation a few times over the years, sometimes where the father didn't know about it and sometimes where he did. The one was certainly less fun than the other. Still, he'd probably handled worse than whatever her father may or may not throw at him, and she wasn't having as bad a reaction to the morning as others he'd slept with. In fact, the 'act' itself seemed to be getting less worry than her father finding out, which was more than he could have expected.
He sat up more fully and changed back to his bipedal form, then stroked her neck in a comforting gesture. "Don't you worry about me, dear. I can handle myself, I'm sure. I wouldn't want you to be getting in more trouble than you had to, though. Why don't I fix us up some breakfast before you have to leave? Better not to face things on an empty stomach, I would think."

Oh my, what was she going to tell Father? She had gotten herself out of situations before but this one was pretty bad. Ashwin didn’t seem too terribly surprised though, she wondered how many times he had been in this situation. She shook her head and tried not to think about it, if she did it might make her sad. Given the situation could be worse… she could be pregnant. Oh dear… bad Dilis. She must not think such things; she already had enough to deal with once she got home.
She turned back to look at Ashwin, this time addressing him. “Alright… it should be okay if I can just think of what to tell him. He gets persnickety enough about me going to Capital City alone but to stay out all night? That is unthinkable in his eyes." Calming down a bit she smiled at him, no sense in getting two people upset. “Breakfast would be wonderful, love. I should think things will look brighter once we have eaten something.”

Ashwin wasn't thinking of very much beyond how many eggs he had left in the fridge and if he had enough milk for two people, the answers he eventually came up with being 'three' and 'yes'. Grocery shopping could probably wait a few days. Thoughts were idle and meandering while he stretched, joints popping louder than he would have wanted. Wasn't much he could do about it, but all the same he could wish.
An irate father didn't bother him very much. That little 'love' tacked onto the end of her statement, however, made him pause and blink at her. Was that just friendly, like his 'dear', or was it delusional? Sometimes the younger or more innocent ones could be very... hopeful? Blind? He wasn't sure what to call it. He sincerely hoped she wasn't one of them.
"Breakfast we'll have, then," he agreed easily, slipping out of bed and brushing down some of his fur before searching around for his pants. "Eggs, toast, coffee... is that alright, or would you prefer something different?"

(are you thinking we will end this soon? i know you said only a few posts)
Dilis was getting antsy; though she enjoyed Ashwin's company she really needed to get home and face the music. As she had spoken to him, she hadn't realized she had called him "love" until he was looking at her.
It was not unusual for her to say that, she had grown up hearing it so she had adopted the term. It mostly meant someone she was fond of, a rather good friend. She knew what the situation was with Ashwin and she was perfectly fine with it, she had no delusions of being with him for the rest of her life... that mostly would not have suited her any way.
"Oh my, that sounds great. I do not usually eat breakfast so that sounds like a feast to me" Dilis smiled. She had been told of these situations and the stories she had been told is the man usually kicks the girl out first thing. She was glad he was not the type, she might have regretted it had that been the case. Perhaps since he took such great care of her, Father might be inclined to feel better about it.... or perhaps he would flip his lid as she thought.

((Whenever Dilis looks to be leaving, that's probably where we should end it. Ashwin's going to make her breakfast and eat it with her, but after that, he'll be getting to work for the morning most likely. :3))
Pulling on his pants and deciding to disregard his shirt for the moment, Ashwin smiled slightly and shrugged. "I find that I get too hungry for the rest of the day if I don't eat breakfast. Besides, I had a Corvie tell me once that it was 'the most important meal of the day', and he was the kind of person to know if anyone could, so... eh. Breakfast it is. Feel free to use the shower if you'd like, though. It might be better for you if you don't go back to your father smelling like me."
With a slight chuckle, he wandered into the kitchen and pulled out the bread, cracked a few eggs to start scrambling with cheese, and started the coffee. It didn't take him very long to get things ready, the coffee taking a moment longer than anything else. He returned to the room with a large tray, balancing two plates and two mugs along with forks and napkins. He was used to this sort of thing and had all of the supplies on-hand.

((taking that as my cue then lol)
"Well, more often than not I have to fend for myself. I definitely agree that it is important to eat if you can help it" Dilis smiled.
A shower? Dilis got up, she might just have to do that. She walked over to the bathroom and ran the shower. Ashwin was right, if I go home like this Father would probably know. As she got in, she heard Ashwin tinkering around in the kitchen. By the time she was out, he had everything set up for them. She sat down on the bed gingerly, towel in hand next to him. "This is lovely, very thoughtful of you; thank you for taking the time" She smiled. It was an impressive spread and she was still blown away that he had done this.
After she had eaten she turned again to Ashwin. "I am terribly sorry to have to eat and run but at least now I have the fuel to face the music. Thank you again for everything, Ashwin. I had a lovely time and feel free to call on me again if you would like some company" She blushed. She quickly got up and started the walk home. She hoped Father would go easy on her, however she felt that might not be the case.
