The fastest way to unmake a Sue, in my case, seems to be to think things through. I have the character development questionnaire, of course, courtesy of Kari <3 But I suspect there are some aspects specific to the SOD that isn't covered in those questions, so I'm opening question season on Souris.
In addition, I'm also going to open one other question, that is a favourite security net of mine, to the floor. Can anyone give me an idiosyncrasy or a character trait that you (or your Card) thinks would describe Souris, based on prior interaction or RP?
Three words or less, one coherent thought preferred, as general as possible. Multiple coherent thoughts welcome.
There is a chance that, like Loreta's 'prissy' and 'timid', I could use these words as prompts. Not to adopt the exact trait, no. But close to.
Except the prissy, that pretty much describes me, and I think that's the writer showing through the character, by accident or otherwise. Not sure if that is a good thing. >>;

What does Souris think about the male gender, versus specific males? And does she act in accordance to these thoughts, or do her actions contradict them? If they do, why?

Answering in the third person, as Souris refuses to speak up, and trying to phrase the answer in the first person breaks my muse.
Souris, unlike most Yarrow Gardens residents, does not hate males right off, nor does she believe males are blasphemy, nor that to lie down with a male as mate is unthinkable, nor that reproduction with men leads to all manner of unpleasantness. (Compare Inali, Mnemosyne, Zora and Elodie)
She does, however, consider females the fairer/better sex, and that women lower themselves to cavort with men.
Her actions contradict these thoughts, however.
Souris, having a low self-esteem, and being spawned by a man, believes that no sane female will want her. Men, she thinks, have lower standards. Most men would want her.

This notion is helped along more or less by the Gardens coloration, the general attitude most Gardens girls have towards men in general, and the Highlanders occasionally being known to deign to make love to Yarrows without too much fuss.

Therefore, she is not above teasing males, going all the way up the line (intercourse), but never cross it, even though she may wave her fingers deliberately over it, and usually right in their face.

I do believe Souris needs more interaction with specific males, in order to flesh out her thoughts, however.

Souris: I started as a housekeeper/live-in caretaker for Inheritance.
A luxury villa bequeathed to an unappreciative Highlander who then sold said villa to her.You missed out the dress maker.
Souris: That doesn't count. I was not paid for that, so could not have earned a living.
True.
Souris: If I may continue?
*crickets*
Souris: The vineyard and vintages Inheritance provided amply for my lifestyle when I first left to travel to Capital City, hoping to make my fortunes.
Mnem put the idea into her head that she could make a good living off poisoning skills in the big city.
Souris, chagrined: Don't remind me.
The idea didn't quite pan out.
Souris, sheepishly: Finding myself low on points, I then decided to apply to the Courts, to work as a Ladies' Maid.
For which, she is ill-qualified.
Souris, sharply: Vessatha will furnish me with something appropiate.
I don't think so...

Third person response, because Souris didn't deign to reply.
Souris dislikes her ancestral home in the Gardens, however, she isn't above returning to Inheritance infrequently for business. The vineyards lie fallow for the moment, but she does return to the cellars periodically, to procure an older vintage. She needs the points to maintain her image.
Assuming the brothels you reference are the secret harems, Souris is not aware that those exist at this date, and therefore cannot go there.
Souris has a taste for good food, and favors many well-prepared, savory dishes, although she has an especial liking for soufflés. (Definitely needs some more thought here.)
