His head ached and his various wounds had already been bound and tucked away under a new suit. He had stolen it off of a cadaver he had made out of a rather unlikable man. Tossing the dead man’s other various possessions carelessly behind him for some beggars to find. He loved watching beggars gaze after him like some sort of benevolent god. His shoes clicked on the stones and he watched the grimy walls slide by, eyes trailing slightly behind him as he waited for someone worth his notice to happen along. His chest ached and his left leg was giving him a little gip but nothing bad, nothing like what the other side had gotten. He almost wished that his other half could see him now, he would go down on one knee and beg for him to come back, help him maybe, to win his stupid Highlander? The thought made him grin widely...his teeth squeaking slightly as they ground together. Once the newness of being here with Osias wore off...he was heartily considering finding his other half again...just to beat on him a little bit. Maybe, maybe... His hair blew out behind him and his eyes narrowed as he continued moving. "And, thus I begin looking. Once again, I'm out to ind someone to talk to. Where might you be?"

Zuberi normally didn't make a habit of going down these streets, no matter what time of day. She normally didn't like the sorts of people she met. One hand absently flicking back her pink locks, she made her way briskly down the narrow alleyways. She'd turned into the main road, carrying her large bundle of purchases on her hip. It wasn't often she went to the capital, and she found that whenever she did, she couldn't help but splurge and buy a few nice things from the stores. There was an absolutely lovely hookah pipe that she'd had to go to the more unsavory parts of the bazaar to find. For now though, she'd think the trip worth it. A voice startled her, looking over her shoulder and protruding bone spikes to see a rather.. odd human walking down the road. He'd been talking, but she wasn't sure if he'd been addressing her. Casting a glance around and finding that she was the only one nearby, she slowed her footsteps hesitantly. "E'scuse me, but did ya say some'tin to me?"((Sorry for the wait XD))

A voice snapped him out of his musings and he glanced coolly ahead of him. The sight forced a double-take. What was this? He'd never seen anything like this woman in his life, she had Midori colors, yes, but what was she?
"I wasn't then, but I certainly am now, my lady." He murmured, walking toward her, shoulders back and eyes directly focused on her. He watched her ears twitch and let his eyes rove slowly over every mutation and oddity. He kept coming back to the fangs...
"I am Finistris, King of Spades. Might I inquire as to whom I am now addressing?"
He let his hips sway slightly as he moved, slowly beginning a spell as he focused on her eyes. He wanted to p[lay with this one...she looked like such fun.
Small Ability: Once a day, he is capable of causing a small mist to form slowly over the course of a minute, the mist will focus on an opponent if he can focus on their eyes. The mist is warm and once it begins to form, it cuts off all view of the rest of the world around the victim.

Now, Zuberi wasn't a woman that had any innate sense of when a person was good or evil, but there was just something 'off' about this man. Ears which had perked forward with curiosity now flattened into the heavy dreads that hung from her head.
"Zuberi is mah name, I..." He had locked eyes with her, and a chill that had nothing to do with temperature made her shiver before an odd warmth enveloped her slowly. It took her a few moments to realize that the mist that was forming was becoming thicker and thicker around her.
"Be this some kind of magic?" Zuberi inquired hesitantly. She wasn't going to immediately assume that the man meant harm. Instead, she cautiously reached a hand out into the fog that now almost completely obscured her vision. "Ah canno' see through dis fog... Be this your doing, man of the spades?"
Her voice lightened considerably, falling back on old formalities in her addressing the man as she fought to find some way to convey her passiveness. Surely one could find compassion in their heart for a woman? "I don' want any trouble, King. I.. be just makin' my way back home.." Grasping, her free hand found no purchase, grasping only warm, unnatural mist.

"Zuberi...I like that, it's very open. Midori...now that's a place I'd like to see someday." He circled slightly to the left as the mist rose, it would not consume her view of him, nor his of her...but everything else would blanket out in a moment. He smiled and gave a small half-bow.
"Man of the Spades? I like your accent, my dear lady. Yes, this would be a brand of my magic, would you like to see more?"
He flicked his wrist lightly and made a half bow, long hair falling about him in a curtain.
"No, of course not, my lady. No one wants trouble unless they're looking for it. As you've stated, you were simply going home. I've left my home and family for the evening and I'm out looking. Tell you what though....I'll make it as enjoyable as possible, just for you..." He murmured as he activated both his Jack's and another small ability.
Jack's Ability: Once a week, he is capable of causing an opponent to feel as though horrible, cold, sharp bone fingers are clawing at them for a full five minutes. This forces them to squint for the first thirty seconds as they adjust to the fact that their eyes are not actually under attack. The remainder of the time is spent feeling the pain of constant nicks and scratches that simply won't let up.
Small Ability: Once a day, he is capable of causing an opponent's body to shiver uncontrollably as though they were freezing. The spell will last up to a minute on any Card ranked King or lower, but only twenty seconds on Queens or Jokers. Many can still move while this is going on but not well. When coupled with his ground spell, they will have a hard time getting up at all.

Cold fear shot up Zuberi's spine, followed moments later by a literal cold that sent her teeth chattering out of reflex. The pain scared her; it hurt, but the fear of attack and the sheer fact that she rarely was put under such strain caused her to cry out, webbed hands frantically reaching out to swipe and bat around her skin.
She was shaking so hard... her knees were knocking together painfully and the assault was just too much. She buckled, and fell to the ground, her purchases falling to the ground with a shatter.
"Stop, stop! W-Whyya d-d-doin' dis!?" She was shaking so hard. She was terrified. She needed to do something, needed a spell. There was always one on the tip of her tongue; a distractor that might make him stop, if only for a moment. It probably wasn't the smartest of things to do, but nonetheless, she willed her trembling limbs to move, coming together in a resounding 'clap'.
"S-s-s-scalp!"
Small Power: She is now able to cause another's hair to fall out simply by clapping her paws together and saying the word scalp. The SD cursed will remain bald for a full month before any hair grows back in. She can cast this spell once a week.

The spasm that visibly shook her was fantastic, especially watching it shoot through that delightful tail. He molded his face into an expression of interested concern, bending a bit as though he would be about to assist her back up. The shattering of her recently purchased possessions made his ears buzz as he thought about what else he could break id he tried. Hells bells she was an interesting Card...and a beauty in her own right.
He wondered what her fur would feel like compared to his Osias? As much as he loved his Rat, he did appreciate the feel of finer things once in awhile.
"Doing what, dear lady? It appears that you're having a panic attack. Might I suggest th-"
He stopped as a distinctly odd sensation crawled through his skin.
"What...what did you say?" He asked quietly, his voice almost lilting as he cautiously raised a hand to his head. The tingling wouldn't stop...it was getting stronger and focusing on the point of his skull. For the first time in awhile, he felt a twinge of fear. What had she done?
He pulled his hand back in front of his face, a clump of blue hair coming limply with it.
Finistris stared in utter disbelief for a full two seconds before giving the woman before him a small smile, as though enjoying a joke.
"Oh, my dear. You're going to wish you hadn't done that."
He stepped backward and initiated an ability his other half had worked on for quite some time. His smile faded and an increasingly ugly look crept across his features in its place. His hair slowly descended in clumps around him, lying pathetically on his shoulders and at his feet.
This had better not be permanent.
Amazing Ability: Once a week, he is capable of causing an opponent's left hand to slowly begin splitting in half along the middle finger. The spell will take a full minute to complete and will continue as far as just before the elbow. The process feels just as bad as it looks, with the arm being torn in two by an invisible force, it can be halted if the caster is knocked unconscious or sufficiently distracted.

That cold knot in the middle of her stomach only grew when she saw the lack of horror on his face. In fact, he was smiling.Then.. there was pain. The tip of her finger blossomed crimson, peeling back like an overheated sausage as some invisible force began to cut her finger in two. It was... horrible.
Zuberi let out a bloodcurdling scream, batting frantically at the wounded hand as if she could ward away the invisible force that was afflicting her. It would not stop. Desperately, she looked up at the man's face, his twisted grin staring back at her mercilessly even as strands of that pretty blue hair slipped from his scalp and to the ground. This man was a monster.
Scrambling to her feet, she shook violently as she mustered up enough of her mental processes to focus on a curse. Picking up the bong pipe off the ground, she willed her shaky legs to take her toward the man as fast as they would muster, ready to take a swing at the man's balding head. As she did, she conjured up a curse.
Small Power: She is now able to give another SD an incredibly strong and random case of the hiccups once a week. The hiccups will be very powerful, and cause slight chest pains and inhibit their ability to speak with out sounding moronic.

The sight of his spell taking effect was intensely satisfying. Her face, twisted in horror and pain...she was beautiful, so very beautiful. Such a strange creature....so lovely.
He had decided. The bone protrusions, the skulls at the base of her wings, the outfit, the tail...she must have some Hisstor in her somewhere. She was beautiful and strange. If he was given the opportunity...
He would have her.
While considering this, the smile slipped from his face. A softer expression replacing it, his eyes roving over her, mainly her face as he watched her writhe. His eyes appraising, his smile gentle.
Then she stood and rushed him. That was unexpected. He hadn't imagined she would have the stamina for that, he didn't even have time to raise his arm fully. The bong pipe smacked against the side of his head with a dull crack! His vision slid in and out of focus for a moment as he cursed pathetically, disoriented and pained. A fireball! His vision was doubled and he staggered backward from her, just as his chest seemed to convulse and he gasped strangely for air.
This was...what? Another hiccup tore its way out of him, shaking his chest and paining him.
"What, i-in a...ll hell?" He gasped, throwing a hand up in front of himself and casting another spell. This woman! She could express distress the way a woman should but she fought! Even when agonized, he had to have her!
Moderate Ability: Once a week, he is capable of causing an opponent to loose all feeling in one limb of the caster's choosing. The limb will remain dead to them for a total of three hours. After that, it will slowly tingle it way back to life.
He chooses her right arm.

In the heat of it all, Zuberi was ready to hit him over and over till he just.. stopped moving. Chest heaving from the chill that still lingered in the air, body pained by his ability and finger literally feeling as if it were on -fire- with pain, she very well would have kept up her assault had she been allowed to. Her breath was ragged and noisy as her arm came up again, her good eye focused on that growing bald spot right on the top of his head...
But then the bong fell heavily on her own skull and she stumbled back, confused. Her arm had lost all sensation, swinging pendulously at her side. What was she to do now, if she could weild no weapon? So far, her own magic was no match for his own. He'd probably tear her apart while she could only inconvenience him.
She whimpered, stumbling a few steps further away from the man. Her split finger was bleeding profusely, spattering droplets onto the gritty cobblestone below. It hurt.. it hurt... She couldn't look at it. If she did... she feared she would pass out. Turning away from him, the Midori stumbled to put space in between them. She was still cold.. still shivering. She could not run no matter how much she willed her legs to move.
