He was reluctant to give the strange card his own name, but his brother seemed to 'fix' that before he even got a chance to think about it twice. He flipped his little rat ears back and gave his brother a dirty look before sighing softly ... why did the canine get him into so many situations like this? And why oh why was his brother's logic so infuriatingly naive? And now ... now he was taunting him? Oy ...
Slowly but surely he made his way over to his brother, ears drooped and tail only a small part of the way between his legs. When he reached his he also made sure to give him a peck on the shoulder, not hard enough to draw any blood but just enough to give him a little pain. Too bad it didn't stop that tail of his brother's from wagging though ... oh well.
He peered up at the heron, olive eyes widened just a little bit ... suits the stranger was so much ... larger up close like this.

He smiled down to the new arrival, it was nice to see that Nova wasn't all alone. "Well ye be hungry, and So be I. So what do ye say we get something ta eat?" he said as he waved for them to follow. He was feeling rather nice today... if these kits had been older he would have just passed them by without a single glance, yet they where just babies... and he knew several people that wouldn't even give a care if they had gotten hurt, but he did.
"So what do ya like to eat? I can see if we be finding a place where we can eat good and fill ye bellies good" he said as he shook his coin purse. He just hoped they wouldn't eat him out of his coin purse... that would make this day pretty bad. He knew that he could get Nova from being called a Lowlander scum... but the other took the part too close... it would take some serious talking to get him through the doors of any establishment.

When food was brought up again he couldn't help but wave his tail back and forth at an even faster pace. And he was asking what they liked to eat? That was interesting, and different... usually they didn't get to pick!
Well, momma takes us to this place called Johnny's sometimes .... we even went their one time with our Aunt.
He grinned, looking up at the heron with his bright orange eyes, just a shade lighter then his coat.
He used to go there with her all the time ... they have like, burgers and stuff like that if you're interested. I can show you the way!
The people there were nice, even to his brother, and he liked the food as well. Actually, it was just a fun place in general since it usually meant dinner with a family member they rarely got to see ... it was a treat and he wouldn't be at all opposed to indulging on such a thing with his brother and the heron. There just wasn't any better way to make a new friend then over food!

He stood as near to his brother as he dared, he certainly didn't want his fur and feathers to go up in flames cause of the boy's wings... but at the same time he needed the comfort that the familiar form gave him. Strangers just ... weren't his thing and he didn't do all that well when meeting them, even when Cas did all or most of the talking. Olive eyes continued to peer up at the strange card, a bit of anxiety dancing in their stare.
But Cas seemed determined to go off somewhere and eat with this avian so ... he'd just have to go along and make sure his overly social counterpart didn't end up in trouble or worse ... missing. Momma would skin him alive if he let his brother get stolen, he was sure of it.
C-Cas maybe you should ... let him decide. Y-yeah?
It seemed awfully rude of his sibling to just .... suggest a place in hopes of luring the stranger there. Yes, he knew the heron's name now but ... he'd just met him today and therefor would continue to think of him as a stranger until he felt more ... comfortable.

He nodded his head at first to Casanova's sugestion, and when Borkack asked his brother a simple question did he turn to him. He was a rather weird looking one, but that wouldn't stop him from his charity here today. Good thing that it was a good day for him, mostly a light work day and a heavy purse, so he didn't have to worry about todays expentures.
He bent down to look at the little bugger, "It be ok, unless ye don't like dis Johnny's place." he said almost on the same level as the two, though when leaning up he felt the heat that waffed off of of Casanova.
He jerked strait up in a flash, he checked his neck and such to make sure that no feathers where burnt in this small brush, he was happy that none sought the flames. He gave a sigh and calmed himself for a second.
"Wow boy'o, Ye know ye a flaming one, yea? Do dem wings function?" wondering that was positivly a true wonder. He wondred also if their was a bone structur in the wings themself.

He turned his head to his brother and arched a brow, why one earth did he always take it upon himself to counter everything he said? He loved his brother like he loved the rest of his family but the boy could edge on his nerves from time to time... like now. All he wanted was a fun afternoon with the possibility of a new friend and there was predictable old Brokat telling him the error of his ways ... oy.
however, the sudden jump from the heron startled him a bit and his hackled rose for moment before he realized what happened and couldn't help but snicker a bit. Flames were hot and they burned, weren't grown ups supposed to know that? The man's question, however, perked him right up and had his tail wagging again.
They do! I can't go to far or high but I can use them.
He grinned from ear to ear, it really was a fun little trick because well ... fire wasn't supposed to be able to hold you aloft, at least that's what everyone seemed to think.

He took on a rather sheepish expression when the stranger mentioned him not liking the burger joint his brother suggested... that really wasn't what he meant ... he just ... didn't like how his brother suggessted it.
N-no ... I like ... Johny's ... that was j-just rude of Cas....
As the stranger started to lower his head down to be more at their level he slowly began to back up to hide behind his technically older but smaller sibling. When the heron jumped he did to only he puffed up and dropped to the ground behind his sibling until he realized what had happened and, well ... instantly felt like a cowardly fool. That, however, wasn't a good enough reason for him to step out from behind his brother, or say anything else to the heron either. Well, for now anyhow. His brother always did things to inspire him to try and be the voice of reason.

He gave a slight chucle at both Boracks and Casanova's reactions, they two where on compleat oposit prisms. He knew that when these two where together that the both of them kept each other in check, yet there should be a median somewhere. He knew that he wasn't. Sabe considred himself a bad influence and a proper gentalman.
He gave a sigh and pointed with one of his talons twoards Nova,
"Casanova, lead the way."
He moved his talon than to Borack,
"Borack, make sure nothing be catching on fire, including myself." He said trying to get some sort of reaction out of a eight. He didn't act like his suit at all... and that was starting to affect even his own rank... of eight. He gave a sigh again.
So it began... the march to Johney's...
In the busy streets did he make sure that the kids didn't get stepped on nor accidently kicked... Some people just didn't like lowlanders... but without that region most jobs that others didn't want wouldn't be occupided and they would have a really bad situation on their hands.

The heron was ... kind of odd and he arched a brow momentarily before he turned in the direction of the restaurant and, after nipping his brother lightly, started off in it's general direction. He was kind enough not to just take off at a run, but his walk was rather, well ... prancey and he waved his flame colored tail around like a banner. He figured his colors, and wings, would be hard to miss ... even in a crowd.
This way!
Once he knew they were both tagging along behind him he picked up the pace a bit, picking a careful path through all the people and trying very hard not to burn anyone as he passed. He'd learned the hard way that most strangers weren't very forgiving about being burned, even if you were an adorable, yet clumsy puppy who hadn't quite learned the space he needed to keep between his wings and .... skin or flammable objects. In fact ... he was still working out all the details of that.
