Enough was enough, Isolde needed to do something. She had so much stress these days, she noticed small balls of fur coming off in the shower. Between the news of family, her love life and then meeting Peder for the first time... Isolde couldn't take it anymore. She needed to talk to someone about it - someone who was not part of her life right now- so she could get a fresh look at her situation. Though had some nice friends, they weren't so great about being objective. She had heard from a friend of a friend about this therapist who was supposed to be really good so she figured, why the hell not? She got the address and headed over. Putting out her smoke, she knocked on the door. She hoped this Rosewood fella could do something for her or she was screwed...

Rosewood went through his files. One by one. He only had two appointments today. Tonight he was going to have a show at the club he worked at. He honestly wanted to be on his best performance. He honestly hoped that Rogers would be coming to the show.... Freya, Rosewood's receptionist, flipped through her magazine with no great interest. The bird was board out of her mind, and wanted something to happen. She knew Rosewood had plans for tonight which was why he had so few appoints and decided to do some filing--but that left very little for her to do. Sometimes she wondered if he just had a secretary for the looks. She perked up when someone opened the door, bell ringing. They certainly weren't scheduled... or where they? She looked at the girl with a feathery eyebrow raised. "Are you the three o'clock?" She asked. Rosewood continued to file his papers. He was too busy humming to himself when the bell rang on the door.

Isolde bounced cheerfully through the door, nearly plowing into the secretary as she did. "Yes, my name is Isolde and I believe it was three I made the appointment for. Sorry if I'm late..."She blushed
She hated the whole idea of appointments and being on time... all of that. No one in her family was ever prompt so why should she be... however, she really needed this appointment so she made the attempt. At the end of the day, it wouldn't hurt nor kill her and maybe she'd feel better for it anyway.
"Is there anything I need to fill out or can I just go in?" she asked the woman curiously. Since this was her first time here, she figured she would at least have to do something but then again, she didn't really know the protocol for such things.

"Just go on in. Knock though before you make it into his office, he's probably singing to himself." She said waving a wing. The bird went back to keeping herself busy. A new appointment wasn't that exciting. Then again what did she expect? The only royalty that came in her was The Queen of Diamonds.... but she wasn't allowed to gossip about it.
Rosewood was humming away in his office with his feather duster. He glanced at the time. Well, the new client should have been coming soon. He wondered if Freya was going to give the client the paper work or not. His question was answered when he walked to his office door, opening it long before Isolde did.
He slipped the feather duster on the top of his cabinets before taking a step out. "Welcome, I see Freya hasn't given you the proper papers. I just need you to fill out a few things before we start the session, Miss Isolde" He said with a smile. "I'm Rosewood. You can take a seat right over there while I get you the paperwork."
The swan shot the other bird a look before vanishing in his office to get the proper papers.

"Ok, thank you for your help" she said sweetly and smiled widely at the woman. She didn't seem very interested but you catch more flies with honey... or so the old adage goes. Isolde was just about to enter Rosewoods office when he came through the door.
"I'll be glad to... it's nice to meet you Rosewood" she smiled. She walked over to the seat and sat down while Rosewood retrieved the papers for her. This wasn't so bad, she had heard therapists were normally older and more stuffy but Rosewood was actually really nice. She was nervous as it was, the last thing she needed was someone who was going to be rude to her. It was refreshing meeting Rosewood at least.
She looked around while she waited, it was nice office... she could imagine he probably had tons of clients to afford such a place. It was all very impressive to her, she hoped that one day she would be successful like this. She had a lot of hard work ahead of her though to get to that point.

Rosewood was far from the typical therapist. For one all of his " "patients were clients. They didn't need to be "cured" they simply needed to be "helped." But beyond the words he truly believed that being a stuffed shirt had nothing to do with helping people get over their pasts and so forth. He enjoyed working with people who needed to be helped.
He came out with the papers on a clip board. He handed the pen and clipboard to Isolde. "You just need to fill out these two forms. I recommend reading the paragraphs." The swan gave her a nod before going back into his office.
Grabbing a his cup of tea from the nearby cabinet he went to refill it. Sometimes he wondered why he paid Freya when she pulled things like this. Ignoring it he filled his cup. After a few more minutes of fiddling around in his office he went back out front to see if she was finished with the papers or not.

((this sucked >.< sorry))
Isolde took the clipboard and pen from Rosewood and went to work on the papers. It was all pretty typical stuff like what's your name and all that. She'd seen it a thousand times at other doctor's offices. She did though make sure that read the paragraphs as he had pointed out to.
"All set" she said as she handed the clipboard and pen back to Rosewood. Now that was over, they could now focus on the task at hand. Her nerves had gotten a bit better by now thankfully as she had something to focus on.

Rosewood took the clipboard when he was offered it. The man shifted through the papers to check if everything was an order. He made small nod before motioning to the door. "Follow me, if you will."
He entered his office. It was a rather simple set up once things were organized. There was a desk that had a pen and paper on it, and a large plush crimson chair besides it. Across from it was a rather nice seat, something akin to a plush lounge chair. The swan took a seat in the crimson chair, setting the clipboard on one of the arms. Spinning around he grabbed a nib pen from his desk. Turning back to the chair he waited for the young woman to sit. "So, how are you feeling today?” he asked. It was a start to a normal conversation. Eventually it would lead to something. Rosewood always took his sweet time, and he didn’t want any of his clients to be nervous. That was silly.

Isolde followed Rosewood into his office and sat down in the chair he gestured too. This was certainly the nicest office she had been to, she relished the chair she was in and squished her butt around. Cushy.
She looked up as she was addressed. "I'm doing alright I suppose... not entirely awesome which is the reason I am here I guess" she answered honestly.
She kind of felt like the opposite sex was driving her mad what with all the attention she was getting. She wondered if he was going to ask her anything directly or if she had to bring it up. Being her first time, she didn't know what to expect so her nervousness of just sitting there not knowing what to say was getting to her a bit.
"I have men chasing me constantly" she said bluntly. Might as well get the ball rolling I guess.

He started to doodle on the clipboard he took notes on. He always did during the first session. He got a general idea of what people were feeling when he doodled and spoke at the same time.
"Right now, there isn't a single male chasing you, so feel free to explain why you're feeling so vexed by the male sex." He said with a smile. He needed her honest explanation before coming to any sort of conclusion.
Though he was sure if men were "chasing" her she was letting it happen. People honestly did enjoy attention from the gender they enjoyed in bed, subconsciously or not, and tended to gravitate towards them. She wasn't uncomfortable with men, otherwise she would have had a female therapist and she wouldn't have started the way she had.
People were strange. That's probably why he enjoyed this job so much. "And perhaps they aren't chasing you, so much as you're letting them chase after you."
