The bald mouse sat their starring at his brother, for what seemed to all the world as if the two of them were having a complete - but oddly silent - conversation, not a word said between them. Blink once the bald mouse suddenly, still with out anything said, got up and started to walk off. From where she was laying on the furred rug taking a nap, the smallest of the large bunch raised her head up curiously. "Where are you going?" Disgruntled by his sister's movement the equine shifted his position on the rug besides her. "Does not matter, go back to sleep" He mumbled in an agitated tone.

His pale blue eyes met that of his eldest brother's steadily and he just assimilated the silence between them as though they were actually having a conversation. In reality, his mind was slowly but surely thinking about the fact that he needed to work down his teeth some. He could feel them starting to bite into his lower lip. It wasn't entirely pleasant. It wasn't exactly unpleasant yet, but he knew it would be eventually. And Spite came to a decision and hopped up. Blight slowly got to his feet as well and lumbered silently after his hairless brother. One rather large ear twitched at Zehen's question, but he didn't stop to answer. He didn't have a reason to since Spite, evidently, had nothing to say to the midget mouse. So the heavyset mouse-- with just a touch of horse-- quietly padded after his eldest sibling.

Since her elder brothers did not stop to reply to her question, Zehen quickly started to stretch before bounding up and heading after the two of them.
"Wait up!" She called after them, her little legs trying their hardest to carry her down the stretch they had already covered catch up with the other two mice.
Cyanide scoffed at his sister's antics and rolling onto his side tried to go back to sleep. After a few minutes of restless shifting he soon discovered that such an outcome could not be reached. Cursing his little sister for the burden he set out to follow them at a more leisured pace.
Spite, indeed, had not heard his little sister's question. His mind was singularly focused on where it was that they were headed toward. A quick right turn and a later left at the end of the hallway would make the familiar path obvious that they were headed toward the kitchen though.

A large ear tilted backwards again to listen to the footfalls following them. The tiny, soft scurrying sound of Zehen's little blue toes, and, eventually, the louder stride of Cyanide. Cyan was, in essence, their second to youngest sibling now; they'd all heard rumours of their missing brother, but, of course, they'd been too young to actually know him before he was taken.
Blight continued to move quietly after Spite as they headed towards the kitchen. His stomach wasn't quite to the point of growling, but he wouldn't be surprised if it did so soon. His thick tail swayed carefully behind him; already he was learning that he had to be careful in his movements because his bulk tended to run into and knock things over. Even as his mind touched that fact, his tail hit an open door just a bit too hard, and it slammed shut. He didn't jump at the sound, though he turned his head to look at it for a moment before continuing after Spite.

"Spite, Blight" Zehen called out, slightly breathless, as she raced after her siblings. "Wait for me!" Her legs were now caught up in the motion of carrying her forward at full speed and any need to stop suddenly would have the midget mouse skidding to a not so graceful halt.
Leaping forward she tried to catch a hold of her brother 's large tail.
When his brother had managed to slam the door closed with his tail, the bald mouse's ears flicked back at the sudden noise. He gave a small smile, finding himself amused by it. His brother was not a clumsy person but rather his bulk often provided inconveniences.
Cyanide could only roll his eyes, his usual scowl in place, as he walked after his siblings. His hoofs clacking against the stone floors. He was not sure why he bothered to follow after his siblings, they were probably just going to go try and nab cookies from the cook or something. Heaving a long, discontented sigh, he kept following them anyway.

Blight was prepared to think nothing more about the door closing and, in fact, had already relegated the incident to the back of his mind when something suddenly latched onto his tail. Surprised, he stopped walking forward and he wondered if perhaps someone or something in the room was upset at him for slamming the door.
Then he remembered that they had hear their smallest-- not youngest-- sister's voice not too long before he felt the sudden weight on his red and yellow tail. It seemed logical, therefore, that it wasn't some random someone or something on his tail-- literally-- but almost definitely their very own midget sibling. He turned to look back curiously, shifting his tail so that it was off to the left so he could see easier.
Yes, there was Zehen, latched firmly onto his tail. It was a bit of a surprising sight and he simply stared at her for a moment then turned to present his 'parasite' to Spite.

Zehen gave her brother one of the sweetest smiles she could, part to make sure he did not flick her off out of whim and the other part in being proud to have accomplished her task. She had caught up with her brothers. And maybe, just maybe, she could convince Blight to give her a ride.
Glancing over his shoulder he spotted that his brother had stopped walking. Wondering what was up he turned and made his way back the short distance that separated them.
"Wot is it that you caught there?" He asked a moment before his brother shifted his tail to show him the 'parasite'. "Why, Blight, I think you caught us supper." He grinned, teasingly, at his little sister.
Cyanide was almost tempted to call out a warning for Zehen to be careful when her task was finished. Silently cursing to himself he glared at her back. Though he would never admit it aloud to anyone, of all his siblings he liked her the most - for however small that would be.

Blight considered these words for a very long moment. Spite was, of course, just teasing Zehen, and that was just another reason that he preferred the company of their eldest full brother. Zehen was probably the favoured sibling among all of the Raider babies and therefore was more likely to get away with all sorts of things.
"Ah." He finally said, somewhat delayed, in answer to Spite's remark. It was a small sound of neutrality that could almost be considered affirmative in nature this time.
For his young age, he could feel the 'weight' of his sister, but she was also young and tiny, so it was no real hindrance to him to carry her, even on his tail. He knew that this could be attributed to his strength. He thought that there was probably a reason he was so strong and hefty, especially compared to his siblings, but he wasn't really certain why yet.

There was quite a lot to see in the Court, and Mirai was happy for the time spent with her sister. There was a touch of sadness in everything she did, but sometimes... It was possible to try and forget it and focus instead on doing the sort of things that Cards her age were supposed to do. Exploring was certainly one of them, and so was meeting boys. She'd just met one earlier, in fact, and was telling Neviah about him with a grin. " So he's a guard over on the northern end of things, and really, he's ever so handsome. All muscles and standing tall and proud, just as a guard should. I gave him a flower and he tucked it into his uniform, and oh... and then, he smiled at me." the dog/deer hybrid sighed wistfully, her tail wagging cheerfully as they walked. " Really, you'll have to come with me tomorrow. I know he'd never really be interested in me 'cause I'm so young, but he's awfully nice to look at..." Then, rather abruptly, her cheerful trot came to a complete halt. Her long, deer-like ears panned backwards, pinning against her head, and her brows furrowed. " Nevi..." she said softly, glancing around. " I can hear them, Nevi.. Can we go somewhere else?"

The deer followed uncertainly beside her sister, her hooves making a soft click-click-click that was interrupted by an even softer padding sound of her right hind paw. Her large ears were folded backwards, though not flat against her head; it was just enough to tickle the edges with the top of her mane. She nodded occasionally to Mirai's cheerful tale, though inwardly she was rather afraid for her sister; she wouldn't voice anything so hard as a negative view of anything Mirai would do. She desperately wanted her sister's approval, among others. The sudden voices was a surprise and she slowed to a hesitant stop and her head tilted to one side uneasily. "Uhm," she said quietly. "Maybe. . . it won't be so bad?" She was torn, though; even though some time had already passed, it was difficult knowing that these were the ones who killed their mother.
