He was not deterred by his brothers long pause before a reply came. Mostly he thought nothing of it, though sometimes when questioned on it he would simply reply with 'he full of deep thought'. Seeing that his brother was seemingly content to carry around their youngest sister he turned to continue onto their destination after Blight had gotten close enough to him to be walking side by side.
Continuing to give her brother another of her best smiles she quickly scampered up her brother's tail, almost slipping off once before she had caught herself. Placing her small form between his shoulders, trying to be in the least amount of way as possible. After she was comfortable she then grabbed a hold of some of his fluffy fur, making absolute sure not to pull any of it too hard.
"Kay, we can go now." She announced to her brother not really taking into consideration he might not want her riding him.
Taking the least amount of interest in what his siblings were doing he kept a bored lookout around them. Hearing distinctive footsteps that most definately could not be easily replaced his ears flicked forward.
Well. This was going to be interesting.

When her sister spoke, Mirai stared at the girl. Her ears didn't relax and her brows remained somewhat furrowed, and there was a deep and uncomfortable sadness in her eyes. She knew it wasn't their fault directly for what had happened to their mother, but she couldn't look at them without remembering the woman's pain near the end of her life. The fact that they took the life of the woman she'd only just found and begun to love as a mother when they already had two parents...
It pained her horribly.
She looked away from her sister and glanced at the ground, unsure. She could already feel the fine tremors of nerves running through her body at even the thought of seeing them. After a moment, she swallowed hard. Could she do this? "If you really want to," she replied, shrugging as if it didn't really matter. She didn't understand her sister, though, and wanted to scream inside. Why would Neviah want to do this? "I can manage it."

Blight began to step forward, but when the tiny mouse began to move, he immediately froze, waiting until she was fully settled. At her pronouncement of readiness, he silently moved forward again. Well, without a word. Blight couldn't control the soft 'thump, thump' of his footsteps, but he didn't stress about it; that was just how he moved, after all.
Still, they had not gone far, when the large, red mouse paused again, turning his head to stare ahead with pale eyes. His ears twitched slightly before perking upwards and he looked towards one of the turns in upcoming hallway.
Neviah saw that she had upset her sister, and that distressed her horribly. She hadn't meant to imply that she wanted to go see the Others, it was just that it wasn't really their fault they'd been so many, nor so. . . strange. She didn't know how to convey this to her sister, however, and finally said lamely, "It's just. . . maybe, they're, uhm, sorry?"
