With the coming of February and the increasing amount of classwork, LSAT prep, and commissions, I have come to realize that I really can't keep up with the amount of work that I have been doing. I realize that the free art is fun for everyone and running this site is an enjoyable task, but I've been slowly coming to the conclusion that every second of my free time is turning less into 'free time' and more into 'time I need to work on art for the site'. This is fine to an extent, but it's gotten to the point where I just can't take the load anymore. You guys may hate me for it, but I'm sorry, I only have so much free time available to me.
I've been talking with Jenn and we figured that the most reasonable way to manage things was to set a monthly limit on the amount of growths and form increases I'll be willing to do. There will be a list with ten spots every month for people to reply to and have their drawing go on the list. Each spot on the list represents one growth, biped form, or human form, not character. Each form that is needed for a character counts as a slot because it's a separate picture that needs to be drawn. After the spots are filled each month, I will close the availability and begin working on them. If I find myself with more time in a month, I may open an additional five slots at some point in that month. If not, more will open the next month. If it's a month with commissions, there may not be any slots at all. Sorry, but they really do eat my time like nothing else.
In the mean time, this may give some of you the opportunity to acquire new items, new powers, or new changes to a character's appearance via Mr. Todd that can be drawn onto their new form when you eventually get a slot.
To apply for a slot, first check that there is one with 'Open' next to it. If not, there are not slots available and trying to get one won't work at all. If there are slots available, reply to this post with the character and what they need. You can reply with more than one slot request in a post. Realize, however, that after ten slots have been applied for and accepted, only the first ten to apply will go on the list, no more. PMs sent for slots will not work. They must be replies to this post. It is on a first come, first served basis.
Your point records must be up-to-date when you apply for a slot and you must have the required number of points for the slots you are requesting. If your records are not current, your request will not be accepted.
