Who on this board has always wanted to have a fight to the death, to see how their Card would fare, but was unwilling to sacrifice their Card?
I certainly have...I just cave and actually kill them, but this does not have to be!
Behold! I come bearing the answer to all your problems!
I am holding a brawl for everyone on the site to be able to participate in. Here, you will be able to pit your Card against a randomly selected opponent and see just how well your beloved Card would do in a fight to the death against another.
Of course, there are some rules.

Rules:
1. You may only enter one Card. I know a lot of you have various and quite powerful cards ready for a good fight, sadly you will have to choose just one of them.
2. Your Card can bring in items with them, but only items you have purchased, nothing imagined or that you want someday in the future can be used. If you want to buy something for the brawl before the brawl. Send me a not with brawl in the title so I make it a first priority.
3. Each fight will only be one on one. You will not be allowed to have anything else in the fight with you aside from summoned weapons and summonable familiars. If you can't summon the familiar, you can't have it with you.
4. You may not request who you wish to battle, the fights will be set up randomly. The Cards will be placed into different pools depending on how powerful they may be and then rolled to see whom battles whom.
5. Try to come up with an in character reason for why these people would be fighting. Talk to your opponent and try to come up with somehting, but if you just can't conceive of one totally understandable, then just make it either ludicrous or weird X3.
6. I fully expect you to be realistic about the fights. This is not about whether you win or lose, it's about how you fight. <3

What I'm looking for here is the best fought fight. I want the most interesting (and that does not mean coolest weapons) and creative uses of the abilities you have, and the most realistic reactions.
Make it horrific, make it sad, make it hilarious, make it real <3

Prizes:
Everyone who participates will be getting a small prize of a grab bag with random surprises. All will draw a number and get something weird and random.
The two top fighters will be chosen based on how they fought. It will not necessarily be a pair of fighters who win. For example, if Seth were to fight Dilis, and they had an incredible battle in which both suffered and died, they might win 1st and second respectively. Or, alternatively, Dilis might win second and Severus might come out of his battle with Donnie as the surprising dark horse for 1st place. It doesn't have to be a pair.
The two top fighters will receive the following prizes:
2nd: A random King's sized ability for any character of theirs and a spiffy object.
1st: A semi-custom SD Animal form only, and a spiffy object.

The contest will begin on January 1st 2009, meaning that you have until the night before to sign up and bulk up should you desire.
Post below with the name of the SD you would like to enter bolded at the top, their rank, suit, and weaponry/items they would be entered with.
