Aislinn needed to find work, this was beginning to be ridiculous. She tried so hard to fit in but no matter what she did, doors kept slamming in her face. This last warren had to take or she didn't know what she would do. She really liked her last warren too... The other leverets offered their eyes up to her for experiment and it made her happy. She wondered why she always had to catch them when they were sleeping but she wasn't all that choosy. Then one of them got mad when she couldn't get her eyeball back in her head. Pfft, the nerve! She had obviously agreed to let Aislinn do what was needed and now she says that she's crazy and she took her eye while she was sleeping... without permission! Well no matter. She knocked on the door to the warren and waited until someone opened up. She would make sure her experiments were welcomed here. Hmph.

"Now, stop squirming! Nonsense, this bow isn't too tight! There... you look adorable!" Stepping back, Ashta beamed with the utmost pride at her daughter. So eloquent.. so gorgeous. She was everything she should be! --- Claws flexed slowly in and out of their sheathes. Eyes burned with utmost hatred behind the bone mask she wore. If she was anyone rabbit, Aisha would kill the Doe where she stood. (HUR HUR. STAR TREK REFERENCE)Her mane was done up in a most ridiculous array of bows and hairpins, ears preened just so with clip on dangles from her mother's jewelry box... and to top it all off, she was wearing the most obnoxious, ridiculous looking pink bow in all of the Highland hills. Something needed to happen. Someone needed to come and save her from the situation, and her mother from imminent death. Then there was a knock on the door. FREE! Before her mother could say anything, Aisha bolted, running off to go hide in the gardens, no doubt. -- "Oh, for the love of the white rabbit!" Ashta sighed most irritably as her victim escaped, grooming her fur back down flat. Visitors? They so rarely had anyone come to see them. The Czar was not particularly sociable unless it meant another Doe was coming into the family. Ashta frowned slightly at that. The last Doe he brought into the warren had.. not been fond of her at all. Needless to say, after a few altercations she found it prudent to keep her distance from the marsh girl. If she didn't want to make nice with her obvious superior, then Ashta would merely be civil with the girl and hope she passed to another Jack quickly. The Czar was taking a rare nap, and Ashta was sure he wouldn't be disturbed, so she made her way to the door. It was a cumbersome thing, obviously meant for a Jack to be able to fit through, but with a handle low enough for leverets and does to use. Pulling the door open, she peered out to see a most interestingly colored Doe. Her pink markings were exquisite to say the least! Smiling most charmingly, she opened the door a little wider. "This is the Czar's residence. How may I help you?"

Aislinn was taken aback, when the door opened she certainly didn't expect a doe to be standing there. A leveret sure, but that was usually given as one of their duties. Hell, most warrens she went to had a butler type leveret that's main job was to do these kindsa things.
Not wanting to show disrespect or rudeness she smiled back. "Hello. I have come seek a place within the warren if there is such a thing" She immediately averted her eyes, remembering what happened last time with a doe. She felt it would be best to teach Aislinn a lesson about looking her superior directly in the eyes. In retribution the doe had ripped poor Aislinn's ear and all without the permission of her Jack. Aislinn remembered she had bled for days and was in terrible pain. She just hoped she wouldn't deserve the same welcome here.

What's this? A little homeless leveret? How terrible.... but how delightful that she would show up on her doorstep! She considered the leveret for just a moment more, taking in her demeanor, appearance and general state of being. That leveret would probably get a bath soon. Her pink would stand out so vividly then!
"Oh, I'm sure there's room for another leveret, dearie. We could always use the help with the children running about." If the leveret had seen the children, she'd understand. Opening the door just a bit more, she stepped back and smiled most broadly. "Don't be shy! Come on in!"
When the leveret came into the door though, the Doe did a most bizarre thing. Reaching out with gentle, yet firm grasping hands, she took hold of her tattered ear and examined it, running her paw gently against the tear that was on it. Whether the leveret liked this or not, she didn't seem to care. She merely stared at it with a... strange look in her eyes.
Finally, she let the ear slip from her grasp, distractedly running a paw over her own tattered, torn off ear. "That could hardly be from a Jack that wished to keep you. Were you abused, little leveret?"

Aislinn really wanted to look up and investigate the does eyes but she knew it wouldn't be appropriate.
"Oh, I love children!" she smiled as she walked in the door after the Doe. She thought the doe was reaching out to close the door but instead she grabbed her ear and was no prodding at it!
Fearing she would be laughed at she figured she would only tell the bare details. "Well a doe did it but um.. I was being a naughty girl at the time so I suppose I deserved it.." she said softly.
She thought the doe agreed to one of her experiments but then she went told their Jack on her and well, here she was with a ripped ear. She noticed that the doe's ear was ripped off and she finally understood, what a terrible thing to happen to a doe that was so pretty. Her former Jack must have been very unforgiving.

Her intense expression broke into a smile.. most abruptly. "Well, I very much hope you won't be naughty in this warren" She reached out once more, running her paw once more over the leveret's ears.
Then though, her nose wrinkled, as if offended. The leveret had probably been out on its own for quite a while. It wasn't surprising that she smelled of the outside and sweat. "Oh my... I do say it's about time for you to take a shower. Being out in the wilderness does nothing for anyone, I'm sure. Come!" Gesturing for the leveret to follow, she hopped gaily down the hallway. What an odd Doe.. seeming to dote on the leveret the way she was. There were leverets in the warren though. Keen rabbit ears could hear them scurrying them in other rooms. It seemed though that when the Doe came around, they all made themselves scarce. How odd... she seemed like such a nice Doe...

((Short but um, Aislinn has no idea what's going to happen))
Aislinn tensed up just a little at the doe's statement and then stroking her ear again. "Oh no, I wouldn't do anything bad while living here."
Her expression made her wonder if she had said something wrong but smelling herself now, she understood what she meant. It had been a long few weeks travel for her and she guessed it had been just as long since she had been able to bathe. She was grateful when the doe offered to have that done for her. She obediently followed the doe, it surprised her though that she was taking care of her and not beckoning for some other leveret for the job.
"Is there many others living here?" she asked curiously, hoping she hadn't overstepped any boundaries.

Oh yes, she'd better behave. Though Ashta was all roses and sunshine when she was happy, it was most unwise to displease the Czar's favorite. Blissfully hopping down the hallway, she paused to consider the question as if she found it odd. "Why, of course. I don't know -why- they like to make themselves so scarce.." It was probably because so few of them wished to be caught up in a game of tea party with the Doe.
"They're probably busy preparing for the upcoming meal. They are all quite hard workers. The children keep them busy as well. My children haven't gotten out of that rambunctious stage yet." Ashta buzzed with pleasure, obviously quite proud of her ability to bring children into the warren. She reminded people of it often.
Turning the corner, she brought them into the bathing room. She was quick to turn the water on and begin filling the tub. It was obviously the one that the Does used. The other Does didn't much approve of Ashta's using it for washing any old leveret that came into the Burrow, but it was one of the few ways to ensure her victim- er.. I mean 'guest' could be ensured a lack of an escape route, with plenty of bows and pretty knick-knacks at hand to doll her new playmate up.
She chose an assortment of the more astringent soaps; after all, she couldn't have a leveret smelling prettier than her. Still, they were not unpleasant to the nose and smelled lightly of fresh cotton plant.
"Here we are. Why don't you hop on in then? What color would flatter you most, you think? Red? No no.. that would clash horribly with pink... Green, maybe?" She pulled out varying ribbons, examining them as if she were making a rather important decision.

Aislinn's apprehension was not put to rest by the does words. "Well that is good to have such a hard working bunch. So many eye- i mean so many children to take care of I would imagine." she stopped herself short for fear the doe might become concerned with her. She did after all have a crippling need to dissect and investigate the inner workings of the eye.
She followed the doe into the bathroom cautiously and look around. Was this... the does bathroom? She hoped she wouldn't be in any trouble by being here but she figured that since she was with the doe, it would be alright.
She smelled herself, she was feeling kind of dirty and she really didn't want to upset the doe... so she got into the bath slowly, feeling a bit uneasy at the does question.
"Erm, color?" she gulped though the doe wasn't really listening as she looked through several ribbons. Aislinn had a feeling it would only go downhill from here.
