Taking the time to slow down, and catch up on outstanding replies, a few to which I haven't the faintest where to begin.
Next, to work on Souris' character, find her a job or two between her leaving the Gardens and applying to the Court, develop her relationship with Cauter and her interest in poisons & addictives.

I know Nat's muse for posts that don't have to do with the Finistris plot is next to nil, so the Cauter thing may or may not be possible for her. *shrug* Your mouse may want to consider developing a different relationship, if you want my honest suggestion.

Thanks, Jenn. I'm working on it, although Souris muse is being fickle, except when I'm reading plotless bestselling erotica. I'd say this muse has bad taste.  All I have so far is the fact that her makeover involves ears which fold back and curl, semi-long hair angora fur, and abilities involving addictive asphrodisiacs that can be made from poisonous plants, and no idea how the RP gets to factor into the mess. Seems said muse isn't being constructive. Oh, well. Maybe I'll take the opportunity to talk to Kari and Vyn. That might knock loose something. |

Something to consider is that if the muse isn't being constructive, it might not be the "right choice" for the character. I've found that if I make grand plans for something and the muse goes dead, it's usually because some aspect of the character doesn't want it.

i have to agree with Chao. Though it is fun to try and force character's down paths they don't necessarily desire. . . *coughstaresatRai* lol
Sometimes. . . it's better to not have grandiose plans, ne? ^^; Not sure if that will help. i know that i had no real plan for Kel at first, then i got a grandiose plan, and then she totally blew those off and was just herself anyway. >>;;;;
Anyways! i'm beginning to feel better and i'm still up for trying to get my nicer chars to try and interact with Souris and see how it goes, if you'd like. ^^ Also, i've still never seen you on MSN. o__O;

Try brickablesmile@gmail.com? I'm actually starting a gradual makeover, beginning with the character. My screen name, Aurryinne, will be retired, among other things. I'm still Ryn, just...no long Aurryinne. The new s/n, Jun, is actually pronounced 'Gin', and a piece of my real name.
The ears will curl back and fold, that's all I know. She's going to Accus. I suspect that, as with cosmetic surgery, etc. one or two Cards would become Corvie experiement junkies, and Souris had definitely headed down that path. The other plans, I sent into the ether, following Xenon and Sera's advice.
Unfortunately between tracing myself back over the last 6 years' activity, writing the Jenn question prompt, and having turned my part time job into a possible full time job, I'm going to be running low on time. Starting July, I'll be gone 11.30 - 9.30, including Saturdays and Sundays, except 1 off day, and 6 hours time off every week for the next three months.
