Notes: She was abandoned on the edges of Avington by her mother about three months ago, when she turned six years old. She had always been well loved and all she knows of the situation is that her mother was panicked and trying to hide her... She was picked up by a strapping Swallowtail Kite who was happening through the area on his way to the Diamond Court. He couldn't quite bring himself to leave behind another Avington Diamond, and will be taking her to the Court with him. Her antlers have a 25% chance of being passed onto any offspring.

Scrap: Oh no! The SD you placed up has been affected! She either tried to train or ran afoul of a Jubjub bird! As a result, she has a rather nasty scar trailing across her bottom lip and down her jugular.

Diamond rank abilities:[/b]

Basic Magical Ability:[/color] She can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not she actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.

Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she can decipher up to two languages of the player's choosing. These languages are in addition to the common tongue and the Diamond house language. Mirriam's languages are Tulgey and Torquehelm. (O___o;; WHY?)

Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can cast a lie-detector spell on a Card of the Suit of Hearts and of a rank lesser or equal to her own, once per day (This, will increase for her as her own rank increases). Cards of equal rank would be aware of the spell, but cards of lesser rank would not.

Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can fly for a full two hours. Winged Diamonds can use this ability for effortless, perfectly controlled flight.

Jack's Ability: She is now able to, once a week, distance herself from any and all emotion and look at a situation from a purely logical standpoint for a full three hours. During this time, appealing to her better nature does you no good, she is incapable of feeling love, sadness, humiliation, fear, or guilt. She is ruthless and will act only to serve her better interests, or those of a cause she knows (logically) to be right. (For example: If she were to begin fighting a cause against her own lover and he/she came up against Mirriam. She could activate this ability and mow through them because it had to be done with brutal efficiency, no hesitation that emotion might bring.)

Other Abilities:

Small Ability:[/color] Once a week, this ability allows the user to melt objects made of stone or wood that are the size of her hand or smaller into a viscous fluid similar to honey. It will re-solidify after 30 minutes/hours in whatever shape its liquid form took.

Flower Ability: Once a week she is able to cause vegetation around her in a ten foot radius to uproot itself and shamble about for a full 5 minutes. This array of plants can carry up to 50lbs, tangle up limbs, or surprise someone by latching onto their face from above, though it will not kill. The vegetation becomes normal again after 5 minutes and is rendered harmless. It is easily destroyed, but can be quite the nuisance while around.

Amazing Ability: Once a week, she is now able to cause any and all plant life around her within 100 feet to obey her commands. It may not be able to move far, but it will do as she says, leaning toward the victim, attempting to strangle them, and stiffening until they either become definite points, or until they make a blockade. Though they cannot uproot them selves, move quickly, or resist fire, they are still undoubtedly helpful. It lasts for up to a minute and she will be left feeling very tired afterwards.

Avington: Residents are usually emerald green with cream and pale blue winding across their spine in a tree-like marking. They often sport antlers as a mutation.

The inhabitants of Avington are regarded as being beautiful by most other realms. Even the Lowlanders find themselves envious of the delicate appearance. Avington is a heavily forested region, deep and secret; few who are not of Avington have ever been able to see their actual city. It is hidden deep within the heart of the trees. Many treacherously deep rivers and waterfalls make the main living areas difficult to reach for those who cannot fly. Each Avington dweller possesses one secret; they will not divulge it unless they feel they have to, but they may tell their mates or close friends without repercussion. It can even be seen as a sign of intimacy. If the secret is pulled from an Avington unwillingly, the tree on their back will blacken and, essentially, die. This causes strains of madness or extreme amnesia to occur in the unfortunate and its effects are normally irreversible. Most normal residents of the Realm will shun a dead tree as though they have a plague, though they cannot spread their curse.

Bats: Bats are difficult to locate in any Realm, though they turn up every now and then. They tend to be wiry and thoughtful, soaring wherever they like, night or day. They normally appear in the form of fruit bats, foxwings, and vampire.

Diamonds: The Fang

As a rule, Diamonds are uncommon but not too difficult to come by. They are on the upper end of society due to their color, with practically no stigmas against them. A Diamond has respect in society naturally; even if its number is of the lower cast, the fact that it is a Diamond will lift it above the other "lower" cards. Being born as a Diamond is a celebrated event and the child will probably have a happy life regardless of realm or parentage.

The Diamond symbol, the Fang, refers to their cunning and sharp, biting turns of phrase. Their uncanny intelligence and tendency toward snideness and power gives the Suit a reputation for being fangy. The fang is also normally represented a as serpent’s fang; due to their knack with charisma and bribery, they usually revel in their snake-like stereotype.
